The staff at Sutherland are excellent, as is the care. I'm so thankful at last after a struggle with another home that we have found a little gem in Sutherland. The care and the management are excellent.
Thank you all so much for being there for mum, and also us, she is happy to call Sutherland her
home, and we are content in the knowledge she is being well looked after.

We have seen a positive improvement in the service provider over the last 6 weeks since my father was admitted. There is a buzz about the home now that was missing. The staff seem more motivated and communication with the residents is better.
When dad was first admitted, the home seemed very oppressive
but now feels much brighter and livelier. Recent staff appointments are making a difference.
Let's hope it lasts!

The home is very well laid out with the sitting rooms that can be used by residents and families. The resident's rooms are all bright and airy. The staff are all very caring and perform their duties with great thought and dignity for the resident. We, as a family, are very grateful for the help and
support we have received and the excellent care for our parents.

My aunt was taken into Sutherlands in the middle of November after a few weeks in hospital and her 92 year old husband was there already. The care, food, cleanliness and staff were amazing. At the end of November, they celebrated 70 years of marriage and the family brought in food and a cake. Cups of
tea or coffee were provided, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, my aunt then became very ill, we thought we were going to loose her on Xmas Day but she got through those difficult days. The family remained beside her bed, again nothing was too much trouble, cups of tea, blankets, lots of loving care and holding her hand when agitated. We lost her on 1st January.

I've seen a lot of care home's over the years and this one really stands out as a good one. The Building is very clean, tidy and well maintained. Staff and service users all look happy and seem to get on like family.
The effort had clearly been made to make the home look homely and as it's December
"Christmassy". I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. Very nice place.

After previous review mum eventually died. This is extract from Eulogy
Then, following multiple encounters with hospital wards she entered her final ordeal at Sutherlands Care Home in Wymondham. With body and mind in prolonged terminal failure, they cared for her, and us, in a way reminiscent of her
own caring qualities. Thank you, Sutherlands.
