Clean and the residents are treated with care and compassion.

Thank you all so much for being there for mum, and also us, she is happy to call Sutherland her home, and we are content in the knowledge she is being well looked after.

Let's hope it lasts!

My personal opinion of the home is excellent. My uncle is happy here and it meets his needs. Family and friends can visit. We are always made very welcome.

The home is very well laid out with the sitting rooms that can be used by residents and families. The resident's rooms are all bright and airy. The staff are all very caring and perform their duties with great thought and dignity for the resident. We, as a family, are very grateful for the help and support we have received and the excellent care for our parents.

My aunt was taken into Sutherlands in the middle of November after a few weeks in hospital and her 92 year old husband was there already. The care, food, cleanliness and staff were amazing. At the end of November, they celebrated 70 years of marriage and the family brought in food and a cake. Cups of tea or coffee were provided, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, my aunt then became very ill, we thought we were going to loose her on Xmas Day but she got through those difficult days. The family remained beside her bed, again nothing was too much trouble, cups of tea, blankets, lots of loving care and holding her hand when agitated. We lost her on 1st January.

The effort had clearly been made to make the home look homely and as it's December "Christmassy". I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. Very nice place.

Then, following multiple encounters with hospital wards she entered her final ordeal at Sutherlands Care Home in Wymondham. With body and mind in prolonged terminal failure, they cared for her, and us, in a way reminiscent of her own caring qualities. Thank you, Sutherlands.
