We would like to thank you very much for your positive feedback about Eastcotts Nursing Home. I will ensure that all of the Staff get to see this as they are the ones responsible for your Mum's care.
All staff have been fantastic with mum & are very caring, kindly, patient & empathetic. Mums bedroom is always clean, tidy, laundered cloths are always fresh & clean. Mum too is always lovely & tidy, fresh & clean too.
Nothing is to much trouble all the staff have a lovely smile & say hello, mum always smiles at the staff whenever they engage with her , staff always have time even if busy to answer any questions regarding mum.
In an ideal world mum would still be in her own home, this choice been taken away by local authority!
Am therefore very happy, relaxed & assured of mums safety, wellbeing at Eastcotts as her new home.
We would like to thank you for your kind words about Eastcotts, I have given to the Staff to read and they are also very grateful. Your Mum has settled in well at Eastcotts and is a delight to care for.

Since my husband has been to Eastcotts Nursing Home, I have been very pleased with the care that Eastcotts have provided for him. He has dementia and walks around all and day; they have coped very well with his situation. All the staff are very caring I have no complaints at all.
Thank you very much for your kind review of Eastcotts Nursing Home. I will share your review with the rest of our amazing Team of Staff that work here.
I went in for respite. All the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Situated in amazing surroundings where you wake to birds singing and the odd deer grazing. The meals were substantial and very tasty.
Thank you very much for your kind words about Eastcotts Nursing Home. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us, and I'm glad that you were happy with the service.
It was reassuring to know that he was safe and being treated so well, as the previous few months had been very demanding. The staff were very kind and attentive, and treated him as an individual which was so important for his rehabilitation. The facilities in the communal areas are very good and the facilities in the rooms are also good. The smart speaker in the room is a nice touch.
Overall a very positive experience at a difficult time. Thanks to the staff for their hard work and kindness.
Thank you so much for your kind words it means so much to the wonderful Staff that work at Eastcotts. Your uncle was a delight to care for and always had a smile for us. We would like to wish him all the very best in his new Home and I'm sure that yourself and your wife are relieved that he is being looked after in a safe environment.
We are so pleased with the care and attention that my mother in law is receiving at Eastcotts Nursing Home and would recommend it most highly. The staff are always helpful, cheerful and caring. My mother in law is content and happy when we visit her and her health is greatly improved
Thank you for your kind words in regard to the care here at Eastcotts Nursing Home. I will pass this on to the staff as they love to hear positive feedback about our resident's care.
My Father has been at Eascotts now for 12 weeks and the staff have treated my Dad with great care and dignity. I have been kept informed at all times by the staff of any incidents. I have found the manager and all the staff very approachable and nothing has ever been too much trouble. I cannot fault the level of care he receives whilst a resident. The food always looks good and they are adaptable to the needs of the resident. I would thoroughly recommend the establishment as a whole.
Thank you very much for your very positive review. I have shared your review with all of the Staff and they are all very grateful for your kind words. It is always nice to get a positive review for the Home and lovely to be able to share it with the amazing Staff that we have here.
The staff here have been absolutely amazing throughout his stay. They are not only very professional and great at what they do but there is a real personal level of care here. You can see that the staff have taken time to get to know their residents on a personal level and adapt when supporting each and every one of them with dignity and gentle care. The manager has been amazing and hands-on in listening to our concerns about Dad coming home and is currently supporting us in arranging the care plan going forward.
In preparation for Dad’s discharge home, we had him at home for an overnight stay this week and upon our return, every single staff member we saw, personally welcomed Dad back and genuinely wanted to know how his homestay went. As a family we highly recommend Eastcotts.
Thank you very much for your positive review of Eastcotts. It is always nice for the staff to have positive feedback as they really do care about all of the residents that are living in the home and treat both them and their families with the respect and care that they deserve. All of the staff...
They couldn't have done more for our mum as well as looking after us in the process and dealt with end-of-life care in a professional but compassionate way.
We are so grateful that our mum spent her last days here and was so well looked after in a truly lovely environment.
Thank you so much for your very kind words they are very much appreciated. I will pass your review of Eastcotts Nursing Home to the staff who cared for your mum during her stay with us.
I cannot recommend this home enough there are not enough words to express how amazing, caring and professional every member of staff is. My mum came to Eastcotts in March 23 for what we thought would be a temporary stay but is more permanent due to her unstable diabetes. These people are amazing, my mum wouldn’t be alive and well if it wasn’t for them. The manager goes above and beyond to assist and help as do all the staff. My mum's life has improved so much thanks to the team here. In addition they are also so caring and welcoming to my dad who spends every day there seeing my mum and all the visitors she receives.
Thank you very much for your review. This means so much to the staff here at Eastcotts and is very much appreciated. Your mum is an amazing lady and a real inspiration to us all, always has a smile on her face and enjoys life despite her medical issues. Your dad is a real character and has become a big part of the team here.
Yes, the actual bricks and mortar is tiered and could do with a facelift, and at times, I am sure a few extra staff would help, but everyone who we came across that worked there was kind and caring, and that's all we could ask for in Mum's final days. She was warm, safe and looked after.
It is of course convenient being very local to where we live but much more important is the care Dad gets and how he feels on a daily basis about being there.
The care is excellent and Dad is safe and comfortable. He has a room that meets his needs with an en-suite bathroom and attentive care and medical staff that ensure he is well looked after, physically and mentally (as far as dad's conditions allow). Dad's welfare is always considered and we remain very happy with his being there.
Unfortunately, Dad has required hospital care this year but on each occasion, the Eastcotts' staff have dealt with the situation rapidly and effectively. Possibly even more importantly they have welcomed him "home" on each return getting him settled back in as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for your review. The staff here at Eastcotts treat each and every Resident like they are a member of their family. The Team are amazing, always having a smile on their faces and a focus on ensuring that the Residents are well looked after in every way. I will pass your kind words onto the team for them all to see. Thank you again.
I am not saying that there aren’t people here that do care but I and my family feel that my father was neglected at this facility due to his stage of illness.
I am sorry to hear that you were not entirely happy with your father's time spent here at Eastcotts Nursing Home. It's a shame that these issues were not expressed during his time with us in order for us to resolve them. I myself answered the telephone call from you after you...
The staff are friendly, my husband is treated with dignity. Residents are encouraged to join in with activities and those that are able to, seem to enjoy themselves.
Thank you very much for your review and the comments that you have made. The Staff are very keen to make both the Residents and the families feel welcomed and at Home at Eastcotts Nursing Home.
I complained and did get a prompt reply from the manager. My husband is now in a warmer room with a more hygienic bathroom. The staff are doing their best to take care of my husband.
I hope the next person allocated the previous room will find it has been improved.
I cannot fill in the ratings for most of the facilities as my husband is physically unable to use them.
We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the room that had been allocated for your husband on admission. However we are pleased that you are satisfied with the alternative room that your husband was moved into so promptly by the staff.
My Aunt has been in Eastcotts Nursing Home for almost a year, she improved greatly due to the high level of care and attention, giving her a quality of life she did not have before, but sadly now her needs are far greater than when she first went into East Cotts, but each step of my Aunts Journey through Dementia (Lewy Body and Vascular) the care has been outstanding, the staff seamlessly adapting to her change in health and care requirements has been amazing, they swiftly acted to her new health issues giving a very high standard of medical and personal care in a friendly manner, always treating her with dignity and respect through this difficult illness. I am always made very welcome and find the staff very open with their support and care, their statement is very accurate, they are truly like a family and I just could not ask for more or thank them enough for an outstanding team. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Your review means a lot to the whole Team at Eastcotts Nursing Home who really do their very best for all of the Residents that live here.
I think we are all very aware that the past couple of years have been hugely stressful on all caregivers whether public or private, but I do not believe the staff at Eastcotts could or would have acted with more care irrespective of recent circumstances. I was also hugely touched to see a couple of them had taken time out of their private lives to attend Dad's funeral yesterday. With thanks.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We have a firm belief at Eastcotts in that we should treat our residents and relatives as we would expect ourselves and our loved ones to be treated. We have, as we often say, a second family whilst we are at work.
