  • The home operate a 'open visiting' system so there are no restrictions on visiting times. Mealtimes are: breakfast from 07.00, Lunch 12.00-13.00 and tea from 16.00. However there is always various snacks available for the Residents to have as/when they wish.

My husband has dementia and he is treated with the utmost care and dignity. The manager and every member of the staff is kind and considerate to his needs. In the short time he has been there he has improved, being more alert and stimulated. He settled from the start and is extremely happy. The staff
are also very friendly to me when I visit. I couldn't wish for more.

I would only recommend Eastcotts Nursing Home as it is by far the best. My mother has been here for 2 and a half years and I would not want her anywhere else. They treat my mother with dignity and respect at all times and I know my mum is happy here - and that's what matters. All the staff are a credit
to Eastcotts.

Review with management and senior staff re my mum's care to date.
Excellent meeting, went through all with the team covered all areas of my mum's care.
My mum is very happy, the staff and team are excellent. There are lots of things to do and regular trips out of the home.

We as a family, have never found anything but the utmost kindness, love, care, patience, support, dignity and respect at all times over the many years at this nursing home we have been visiting, not only to our dear mother but to us as a family. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the warmth from all
the staff is amazing and very reassuring, as we are not able to be with her 24/7.

Eastcotts is a lovely care home providing excellent care for my mum who suffered a bad stroke and has severe anxiety meaning she needs 24-hour care.
The carers and nurses are professional and caring towards the patients and relatives and treat everyone with respect and dignity whilst treating people
as family and friends. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I would recommend to anyone.

We'd like to say how wonderful angel and all the staff were at Eastcotts Nursing Home during our dad/father-in-laws stay it was really amazing, helpful caring people couldn't do enough for my dad I can't thank them enough for all the care and support they gave and for making us feel so at ease and welcome.
My dad himself feels the same. So we say well done Eastcotts what a brilliant place and staff thank you so very much.

My uncle was residing in Eastcotts and died in January 2018. This home is superb.
I work as a Psychologist in Australia and have been into a number of homes in Bundaberg, Queensland. None of these homes come anywhere near the standard of Eastcotts. Unlike the majority of homes I have been into within
Australia, in Eastcotts, residents are treated with respect and dignity.
Both the residents and visitors are looked after fantastically. The food appears good, the staff are warm and friendly while remaining professional. The residents at Eastcotts are stimulated, with lots of interaction with staff and different activities to keep them entertained. In Australia and New Zealand, the residents are often just left to sit. Management and staff were extremely helpful to us when we visited in August and September 2017 and very supportive to my 80 year old mother, when she returned in late January to sort out her brothers funeral. I would recommend Eastcotts to anyone.

I have been visiting this nursing home for over two years, during which time have found a consistent level of care based on a loving family, a philosophy promoted by the manager.
This involves everybody including staff, patients and visitors. As a carer for seven years, I became aware of a strong spirit
of happiness and peace from the first visit. My visits are to read poetry and generally became involved with all aspects of care. My little dog is always welcomed.
