Overall Experience
My late partner spent the final sixteen months of her life being cared for in St Teresa's.
I could not have asked for a better place for her to have been at the end of her days.

St Teresa's is superb in every way: the grounds, the buildings, all the services provided; but most of all, I have to praise the staff; all of them, whatever their job title. I have never before seen such diligent, loving and caring people. In these most sad circumstances, it was a great comfort to me to know that my partner was cared for in such a wonderful place.

St Teresa's provided a caring, friendly and helpful experience for my dad. They were quick to respond to any issues and requests we had and dad was well looked after. It is difficult making a choice when choosing a nursing home for loved ones, but we all felt we had made the right choice with St Teresa's.

I have some experience of relatives in care homes and I really feel the staff are particularly conscientious. I have been visiting someone weekly for nearly two years. She has been treated with patience, understanding and kindness. The manager is absolutely exceptional. She is unbelievably kind and helpful, going way beyond what any managers I have ever met in empathy, imagination, patience and kindness.

Overall Experience
My Auntie & Uncle are residents of St Teresa's since February 2025. The home is always welcoming and all staff, Managers, nursing staff, well-being coordinators, care staff and housekeeping staff are friendly and always make time to say hello. Staff are very caring and go out of their way to make residents comfortable. There are many activities offered throughout the week and the ladies put so much effort into ideas and encouraging residents to particpate both in the home and out in the local community. The Nursing staff are attentive and communication is good, we are always kept up to speed with any changes, reviews of care plans and all members of the nursing team are very supportive when you want to discuss any aspects of relatives health and well-being.
The quality and variety of food is very good and there are alternative options available if someone doesn't want what's on offer.

The home is well maintained with beautiful grounds that residents are able to enjoy if they wish.

My mother has been a resident of St Teresa's for 14 months and we are very pleased with the level of care that she receives from all the staff. They are attentive and very caring, they are dedicated to their roles and show great kindness and compassion towards my mother. The nursing care is very good and I am kept informed of any issues that arise. The food is very good too with smaller portions being provided for mum on the days when she doesn't feel too hungry. Mum has recently celebrated a milestone birthday, 100 years young, and the well being team couldn't have been more proactive and helpful. Mum's room was decorated with a banner and balloons and we had an afternoon tea party for her in the large drawing room which was also beautifully decorated. The light buffet was just right and the cake was delicious. All the staff on duty at the time gathered with us to sing happy birthday, it was a fabulous day and mum really came to life for the occasion.

Very satisfied with the support my wife gets. All staff seem to be dedicated to their work and appear to be happy doing it.

The care home is clean and tidy and the grounds well kept. I have problems remembering the various security codes on the internal doors but understand why they are needed.

The staff at St Teresa's are friendly and always attentive to my brother, who is non-verbal and unable to communicate. Since being at St Teresa's, my brother appears to be happy and comfortable. Staff are very good at keeping the family informed of any changes in my brother's health, which we find very reassuring.

All the staff, without exception, were amazing to my brother and also to us as a family. My brother wasn't always easy, but every member of staff was very understanding. They were kind, and patient and treated him with the utmost respect. As a family, we were reassured that our brother was being well looked after, in both his physical health and mental health.
The food was great, the home was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
The communication between staff and my brother's family was excellent, we were kept up to date with his condition and any questions we had were answered honestly and openly in an appropriate manner.

I would have no hesitation in recommending St Teresa's to anyone looking for a care home.

My sisters and I are very grateful for the care, support and love the staff gave our father during his time with them.
He was content in his final years, and although we would have wanted him with us it would not have been best for him.
The staff were caring and considerate, nothing was too much bother.

In his last days, staff who knew him came to see him, it was a comfort to see how much they'd cared for him, the staff also looked after us very well in those last days.

In the short time that my wife has been at St Teresa's, she has settled in very well and been well supported by the staff she comes into contact with daily. Overall Experience

My wife has been a resident at this home since October 2022. She has dementia and a stroke has meant that she is confined to a wheelchair. The care she is receiving varies from wonderful to magnificent. Caring for dementia patients is very demanding and calls for a high level of sympathy and understanding, and that is what my wife receives here. Wherever I take her in her wheelchair, everyone seems to know her, call her by name, greet her with a smile, a touch of her hand and sometimes a cuddle. Her response to these greetings tells me that this show of affection is not for my benefit. The home is scrupulously clean, and my wife seems to enjoy her food. A lot of effort goes into providing entertainment and recreational activities. I have no complaints, and my daughter and I have been very happy that we chose St Teressa's.
