Cannot praise St Teresa's enough. The care and staff were outstanding.

Very clean, activities are brilliant. We were so lucky to have found this brilliant home. My husband was really happy which made the family happy.

My wife has dementia, she has been a resident at St Teresa's since December 2020. The care she has and is receiving is superb, the carers are meticulous in every way in the care they provide to her. She is always very clean and always has clean clothes on, I couldn't be more happy or contented with the care she receives, I would have no hesitation in recommending St Teresa's care home to anyone who needs residential care to the highest possible standards.

My father was a resident at St Teresa’s for thirteen months. He didn’t want to go into a home, but at 94 it was a necessary step due to his health conditions. He was a very determined and demanding character. St Teresa’s is a beautiful place, lovely gardens and an impressive building. The staff made my father very welcome and did everything they could to ensure that he enjoyed the rest of his life in a happy atmosphere. He made the most of all the activities offered and enjoyed his time there. I would recommend that if you have a relative or friend that needs care that you try St Teresa’s, you will not be disappointed.

First impressions of this care home was good, but very soon after Mum's arrival this changed. Mum's mobility is very poor so she feels very isolated in her room due to no passing people and, unlike her previous home, doesn't seem to be checked on regularly enough. The nursing care is also poor for various reasons.

My mum was at St Teresa's for the best part of 2 years, myself and my brother and sisters cannot speak highly enough of the excellent care and support our mum received during that time. We appreciate the role of the staff can be demanding at times, yet the staff treated my mum almost like a good friend in this respect, I have to mention one staff member in particular who not only do we like immensely but who treated my mum so nicely that it was a great comfort for us knowing this staff member was around our mum. When our mum passed, all staff that night acted with care and support for our mum and us, and we would particularly like to thank the supervisor that night for her caring actions that night. We have to say the rooms, gardens and parking are excellent at St Teresa's, and we would highly recommend this care home for any ones loved ones.

My sisters and I have been immensely grateful for the care, support and love the staff gave our mother during the time she was a resident.
There is no doubt that after a troubled life for many, many years, she was at her happiest at St Teresa's.

Thank you, particularly for the last few days of her life. Calmness and sensitivity were shown by all the staff. Your support to us at Mum's passing was just amazing - gentle, compassionate and knowledgeable with a listening ear.

St Teresa's staff were always welcoming and helpful. They appeared to be kind and respectful to their patients. My sister always looked well cared for with tidy, combed hair. I was not normally present at meal times, so cannot comment on her reaction to them. There was always water and drinks available. Activities were important and enjoyed; there could have been more of them, but for wheelchair users, this requires a high level of staffing. Altogether, a pleasant, friendly home and well ratioed.

Professional staff - all teams - carers, nurses, entertainment, cleaning and kitchen. Treated Mum with kindness, compassion and dignity. Good facilities and entertainment programme. Moved in during Covid times, so limited visiting - staff support vital. Family welcomed, including in her final days. Thank you.

My mother was a resident in St Teresa's care home for five years, and before that, attended another care home for over 15-years. Although she was limited in her physical capabilities, she was mentally very able and enjoyed conversing with staff. The care staff were very caring and looked after Mum with warmth and treated her with dignity. She enjoyed the food and always said she felt well looked after, safe and secure, which made us feel happy that she was in the best place.

The care my husband received was outstanding in every way, right from the admin and manageress. The nursing staff, in particular, need extra special praise as they could not have been kinder or more thoughtful. They made my husband feel safe and valued during a difficult time of his life right up to the very end. The support that they gave my daughter and myself was truly wonderful. Many, many thanks to them all.

When my brother was moved to St Teresa's, we were very concerned because his server dementia made it impossible for him to understand what was happening. It was very difficult for him - but equally difficult for the staff - but during the six months and his care, they did their very best for him. I and my daughters have the highest praise for the gentle and understanding care he received, especially in his last days. A wonderful place with first-class facilities. Thank you so much.

My mother stayed at St Teresa's Nursing Home for what turned out to be the last six weeks of her life, following a long illness. The home itself is in a beautiful setting and is very well cared for and immaculately clean throughout. However, what really made the difference was the wonderful team of people working there. Without exception, I found everyone to be caring, compassionate and friendly. They dealt with difficult situations with great professionalism and seemed to work really well with the other health professionals involved in Mum's care. That this standard was maintained, even through the challenge of the COVID pandemic, was doubly impressive. Although restrictions on visiting were rightly in place, I think all the staff were trying their hardest to compensate for this with families but most importantly for the residents. I have no hesitation in recommending St Teresa's.

Since my husband was admitted to St Teresa's last year. I have found the staff to be caring, professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and I find that they treat each resident with compassion and patience. The care home is set in beautiful gardens and I think when the building alterations are finished, will prove to be a great improvement for the resident, carer and families.

A huge thank you to the staff at St Teresa's Nursing Home for looking after our father. The care and dignity that was given to him at the end of his life were excellent. He was only with you for a short time and the support and much-needed tea's and coffee's given to us as a family was wonderful in what was a difficult time for all of us. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, kind and understanding not only for our father but for us. Thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are. Dad was too ill to eat or attend activities.

My husband has been a resident in St Teresa's Nursing Home for eighteen months. During that time, he has received outstanding care, I have been kept fully informed at all times of his medical needs - he has dementia. He is treated with great respect and any requests of mine have always been met. I live in the village of Corston, a mere five minutes away and visit my husband twice a day. I observe meal times and activities and both are delivered very professionally. There is always a choice. The atmosphere in the home is bright and uplifting and very positive.

Very clean home with very caring staff. The lounge room is compact but perfectly adequate. Mealtimes are at regular intervals and the staff are very attentive towards residents and visitors. Rooms are good but would benefit from more cupboard space. Would be useful to have a visitor's wash-up and clean-up area for minor spills and cup/mug cleaning. Overall, very homely and caring environment with top staff.
