I am very grateful for the excellent care my father received at Bishopmead Lodge. Both management and staff were very good at caring for him and it's nice to know he was happy and well looked after in his last days.
Absolutely everyone at Bishopsmead Lodge have been wonderful. They have welcomed me into their community which has helped me so much to accept my limitations. Every aspect of our needs have been met and I will never forget their kindness and warmth, every single one of them.
I am satisfied Mum is looked after as well as expected, especially with her disabilities. The staff I encounter are very patient and nice towards her and she tells me that she is contented. It was her birthday today and I like the way her room was decorated and the carers made an effort to celebrate her day. I make as many visits as I can, together with my sister, and I'm sure Mum is happy here so keep up the good work.
Took my mum out of one home and placed her in here. I am so happy that I did. Mum is so well looked after by all the carers, the food is amazing - she, herself, is very happy here. The staff, from the manager, admin, cleaners, laundry, activities, cooks and all the carers are lovely. I leave and know Mum is in good hands.
The carers are supportive of Mum and seem to know what she wants and how best to approach her.
Our thanks too to all the admin staff who deal with our concerns and make us feel welcome.
My father was at Bishopsmead Lodge in April 2023 for end-of-life-care. The staff were all amazing with him and us, the relatives. They were always very caring, friendly and considerate. The food looked nice and edible and the rooms all looked clean and have an individual homely feel to them.
Mum seems very happy and more lucid than she did in a previous home.
The staff are all very lovely and friendly and caring, this includes the cleaning and laundry team. My experience of this home is very good and I would recommend it to others.
The care my sister had was 110%, she wanted for nothing. She was there for end-of-life care and we could not have wished for any more of the care she had. The staff are amazing and very special people to do that job. We were also looked after as well.
I think the staff go over and above their job description. The impromptu disco was excellent. Thanks again for taking care of my wife's mother.
Lovely to see such a happy and fun caring facility. You can tell that the residents are well looked after and the staff make them feel really at home.
Thank you, Xenia, for your feedback following your recent experience at our home. We are happy to learn it has been a positive one. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Have a wonderful day.
Welcoming and friendly.
My brother has been here for 5 weeks on assessment. We are extremely impressed with the care he has been given. The staff are very friendly, understanding and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I am extremely pleased with the service and care provided by all the team/staff at the care home. My dad is a resident here and is very happy and comfortable. It is very clean and tidy whenever I visit, and the staff always have a smile on their faces. Thank you all so much for all you do to keep my dad comfortable. Unfortunately, the only lift they have is broken and when my mum visits, it's just a little difficult for her to climb the stairs, but she insists on climbing.
Thank you, Suzanne, for letting us know how we are doing at Bishopsmead Care Home. The care and well-being of every resident is our number one priority, and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing. We are pleased to say that the lift is now fixed and apologies for any inconvenience this caused. Take care.
All the team, from top to bottom, looked after my wife in the best ways possible. They showed considerable compassion and went beyond what would be expected of them. I could not have asked for more. Yours sincerely.

My mother was sent to Bishopsmead from the hospital as her dementia had worsened. The manager and staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout her stay and made both my mother and father feel much better about her care. Professional and caring, they provided a great environment. As a relative, I had total trust in them. I cannot commend them highly enough. Please pass on our thanks to them all.

On first impressions, Bishopsmead Lode is a clean, friendly and accommodating place. The staff that I met all seem to be approachable and help to settle my mother-in-law into her room and attended to her needs.
I can not thank you all enough for your nursing, caring and office staff. All staff so friendly and helpful.
My mum was put into care in the middle of the pandemic 2020. We had no views and didn't know what to expect. You hear so many bad stories, but we were so pleased with this home. When we got in to see her the staff greeted us as one of the family. They treat mum like a queen, they are at her beck and call. The girls are so down to earth and friendly, they will do anything for her. She's well looked after, her room is beautiful. It's got everything she needs and there's always some sort of entertainment to keep them busy. They are all amazing. I'm so glad she's safe and happy there.
Mum settled in well and all the staff have been excellent.
Thank you for sharing your recent experience of our home. We are pleased that it has been so positive.
