Our thanks for the care given to Mum. The women who sort out her laundry and keep her room and loo clean and fresh are wonderful. These lovely ladies are friendly and chatty and we really appreciate their care.
The carers are supportive of Mum and seem to know what she wants and how best to approach
her.
Our thanks too to all the admin staff who deal with our concerns and make us feel welcome.

My father was at Bishopsmead Lodge in April 2023 for end-of-life-care. The staff were all amazing with him and us, the relatives. They were always very caring, friendly and considerate. The food looked nice and edible and the rooms all looked clean and have an individual homely feel to them.

What a care home. The care was absolutely amazing. The dedication of everyone was outstanding.
The care my sister had was 110%, she wanted for nothing. She was there for end-of-life care and we could not have wished for any more of the care she had. The staff are amazing and very special people to
do that job. We were also looked after as well.

I am extremely pleased with the service and care provided by all the team/staff at the care home. My dad is a resident here and is very happy and comfortable. It is very clean and tidy whenever I visit, and the staff always have a smile on their faces. Thank you all so much for all you do to keep my
dad comfortable. Unfortunately, the only lift they have is broken and when my mum visits, it's just a little difficult for her to climb the stairs, but she insists on climbing.

My mother was sent to Bishopsmead from the hospital as her dementia had worsened. The manager and staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout her stay and made both my mother and father feel much better about her care. Professional and caring, they provided a great environment. As a relative, I

My mum was put into care in the middle of the pandemic 2020. We had no views and didn't know what to expect. You hear so many bad stories, but we were so pleased with this home. When we got in to see her the staff greeted us as one of the family. They treat mum like a queen, they are at her beck and
call. The girls are so down to earth and friendly, they will do anything for her. She's well looked after, her room is beautiful. It's got everything she needs and there's always some sort of entertainment to keep them busy. They are all amazing. I'm so glad she's safe and happy there.

I brought my mother here after a very unpleasant experience at another care home where she was unhappy and not looked after. By contrast, she is now treated with care and dignity. The staff are delightful, very friendly and take time to chat with mum regularly throughout the day. It is a well-led team
and most have worked here for several years, this is an indication of a happy environment and is reflected in the care of the residents.

From our initial contact to the difficult first visit to move our relative in, the staff could not have been more attentive.

My brother moved in on the 3rd June and has some quite challenging needs. I was very anxious about the move but from the first contact I had with staff, I have been very impressed and reassured. After a bit of a shaky start, my brother has settled in very well and the staff have all been very caring,
helpful and professional. I am very happy he is in their good hands.
