Thanks to all.
From our initial contact to the difficult first visit to move our relative in, the staff could not have been more attentive.
The staff have been wonderful and our relative is settling in and we know he is in the "right" place.
I really enjoyed my visit to your care home. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
My brother moved in on the 3rd June and has some quite challenging needs. I was very anxious about the move but from the first contact I had with staff, I have been very impressed and reassured. After a bit of a shaky start, my brother has settled in very well and the staff have all been very caring, helpful and professional. I am very happy he is in their good hands.
My mum has been a resident for the last 4 years. She has everything that is suitable for her and her needs, staff are friendly and attentive. They have always made a fuss of her. Being a nursing home I have the added confidence of her support. Interactions between residents is a big positive. I have no negative comments to make other than Four Seasons are slow to implement government changes during the unlocking of Covid.
Due to restrictions placed upon us by the Government and local guidance to keep...
I have used Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home for about 3 years now for my elderly mum to have respite care whenever I have gone on holiday. They have always made her feel really welcome and special and when I've picked her up she always says that she was well looked after. The staff are always cheerful and will out of their way to help her. I really couldn't fault it.
This is a good home. Very friendly staff and looks after my wife very well.
Always friendly and welcoming staff.
Very comfortable and happy. Plenty to do with activities. Bed very warm and most welcoming at nighttimes.
So good to see the residents busy with activities, and you can see they are enjoying it.

Bishopsmead has been her home for several years now, and she has been treated with care, compassion and respect by everyone there.
The efforts made by the whole staff team to provide the residents with a happy, safe and fulfilling life is just brilliant.
I can't thank them all enough.

My friend is a resident there and she thinks it is fantastic, Staff very friendly and the place very clean and food lovely. She is very happy there and feels like it is home to her. She is really enjoying having company as she has lived on her own for years. Can wait to be able to come and visit her when we can.
Thank you, Joanne, for your comments about your recent experience at Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home. Our residents’ wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care.
Cannot answer a couple of questions as she came into the home a few days before the lockdown. But she is a completely different person than she was before and she is putting on weight, and she is a lot happier.
Thank you for your feedback following your recent experience at our home. We are happy to learn it has been a positive one. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Have a wonderful day.
Very attentive, friendly and efficient staff who invest actual time with the residents, take an interest and engage with them. If you call that are unfailingly polite and if asked to pass on a message or similar they always do so. In-person they go the extra mile and show that they genuinely care.
Thank you, Stuart, for sharing your recent experience of our home. We are pleased that it has been so positive and look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a fantastic day.
During my stay in Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home, following a life-changing major operation, I have received excellent care and support from all of the management and staff.

Although I did not wish to go to a rehab situation when told by the hospital that it would be better than going straight home. I now am very grateful that they did. I have made some friends here, residents and carers. My room is very comfortable. I have a nice size room with its own bathroom/toilet washroom attached and a large window which looks out onto the entrance and the road leading to the local primary school. So there is always something to look at. I am happy here.

I find it extremely concerning that when Mum presses her pendant, the staff may not come to her aid for at least 30 minutes plus. I just feel that there is not an adequate number of staff to cope with the number of residents. On the flip side of this, the staff that are there do try very hard to do all they can in the time that they have. I just wonder what would happen in an emergency. Also, I find there is a serious lack of communication from management as there has only been one meeting involving resident's families in the whole five months Mum has been there.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. All of the staff are committed to providing the best possible care experience for all of our residents and we are disappointed to hear that you feel this has not happened in your case. We are very sorry to hear of the concerns that you have...
Old people do not like change and I was heartbroken to leave my home, but living alone was miserable, having no family an issue, so I had to seek company. I found "Bishopsmead" was OK. Food and cleanliness is a priority and the staff are happy and helpful. There is something for all the residents and we are settled and enjoying our new lives.
The food is good and exactly what my mother likes.
Varied activities available suitable for all abilities.

The care and attention is first class. A lot depending upon the management which, is this case, is exemplary. The staff are kind and attentive and cannot be faulted.
