Overall Experience

My elderly mother went to live in Clumber House 6 months ago suffering with anxiety. The nurses and staff have been excellent with her and she is now happy, safe and content. The home is kept lovely and clean and all the staff are approachable, friendly and helpful. I am happy in the knowledge that she is being well taken care of.

Overall Experience
My mother-in-law has been in Clumber House Care Home for serveral years now and her care has always been to a very good standard. The staff are attentive to her particular needs and she well cared for.

I am always kept informed of any changes in her general health and any changes to medication are discussed with me.

My sister has had respite placements in quite a lot of Carehomes.

When choosing end of life Care, we chose Northlea Court carehome. In my opinion Northlea Court offered the specialist care, my sister required. The staff at Northlea Court are amazing, they provide fantastic Care, they are very welcoming and will go that extra mile for residents and family. I would highly recommend Northlea Court Carehome

Overall Experience

My father has been at Riverside Court for nearly a year and he has settled better than I dared to hope he would, after living in his own home in London till the age of 90. He is really comfortable and content at Riverside Court and he loves hearing the singers who often visit. Some of the carers go above and beyond, e.g. when his partner visited recently, they arranged a special table so they could eat together in the lovely sitting room.

Overall Experience
My brother has now had the third anniversary of being in Belle Vue Nursing Home. The care is exceptional and he is very well looked after. I can leave after my visits and know he is contented and carers are on call if he requires anything. Nothing is too much trouble.

We feel very lucky to have found this superb home and would fully recommend it. Thank you to Managenent, Nurses and caring staff for your continued efforts. It is very much appreciated.

Despite my best intentions I don't normally get round to leaving reviews, but having just visited a dear friend who has been at Ty gwynno for about a decade I feel compelled to.
The love and care she receives from all members of staff is absolutely outstanding.
Ty Gwynno genuinely feels like home. There are so many people who have worked there from the time we began visiting all those years ago and they are, without exception, cheerful, upbeat, warm and friendly to us as visitors, but more importantly with the residents.
It's a pleasure to spend time there and see the residents enjoying the company, the wonderful activities, the beautiful garden and the amazing outings.

We cannot thank you enough.

My husband was in the care home for one week, on end of life care, and he couldn't have been better looked after any where else, the staff are amazing. They also took me and my family under their wing nothing was too much trouble even to a knock on the door day or night just to make sure we were ok and if we wanted anything.

My mum has been a resident in the dementia/nursing side of Devonshire house lodge for seven weeks . Her care has been out standing ! The staff are so caring and friendly toward my mum and do their upmost to keep her comfortable and happy . Always asking and giving her choices of food drinking and where she would like to be at different times of the day . Ie in her room for rest or in the communal areas for company and or activities .
She has become a different person after 18 months of being in a different home where she was constantly anxious and aggressive both physically and verbally a lot of the time .

It is always a lovely visit now as mum is back to her witty fun and cheeky person that she was before this terrible dementia took its hold of her . Staff always seem happy and always welcoming to us as a family on our visits . Usually offering a cup of tea and biscuits that we can have with mum on our arrival . Even though they are all so busy all of the time .

Overall Experience
The care home do excellent job looking after my wife Beena who has Alzheimer's. They are very attentive to her needs keep her in good health. They are responsive to any comments that, I or my family might make, and I see that they are caring with other inmates as well.
I do have a couple of points to pick up. One is that her room has a shabby feel about it. The taps are loose the surfaces of the furniture are coming away. I also note that some new wheelchairs have been acquired and that's very good news, however I see that the foot rests are often not adjusted to the patients needs. The feet are left dangling - perhaps some training is needed.

I am unable to comment on the meals and I did give a rather negative comment for activities because when I first looked round the care home I was shown lots of different possibilities but Beena hasn't been involved with any of them I know that she isn't very active but there are occasions when she could be taken down to join a group.

ALL of my mums care needs are met with individualised , compassionate and professional care. Staff are very aware of her needs and her personality and always respond to her in a very caring and professional manner. My Uncle stayed here for months and the girls looked after him like angels because thats what they are angels Nothing was a problem to any of them They were kind curtious and overall just brilliant they couldn't of done any more for him. - Staff are always kind to our family & my mum they listen to concerns & genuinely care & engage.
- The food is excellent & mum eats well - being bed bound, this is very important
- Lots of activities for residents
- really nice room, but needs some T.L.C. - carpets & furniture (seen better days) outside needs repairs!

- Personal grooming for Mum can be challenging as she is scruffy but more could be done to keep her clean + tidy (food stains, nails etc)

The moment I walked into Elburton Heights my shoulders dropped in relief and eyes welled up. The environment and general feeling inside the home is just lovely. All the staff- from the moment you walk in the front door to the moment you leave- are friendly and can't do enough for visitors or residents.

My mum loves music and they were playing sounds of the 60s in the dining room. I have overheard staff talking to mum when I arrive and it's always been with kindness and care. They completely understand her needs and have taken time to know what she likes in terms of activities and meals. I am so pleased she's somewhere so lovely.

Our lovely friend has sadly had to move into care after a hospital stay. Since being there he looks better. He is clearly well cared for and all the staff we have met have been kind and helpful. All staff go above and beyond with care of all residents at Ty Eirin Care Home, the care is outstanding. Hygiene, cleanliness, daily routine is always great.
