They also include the families, which is very important, because they are also part of the care of their loved ones.
Thank you Susan for your lovely review. Lovely to hear your husband has settled in well and feel part of our Ty Eirin family.
All staff go above and beyond with care of all residents at Ty Eirin Care Home, the care is outstanding. Hygiene, cleanliness, daily routine is always great. Entertainment for residents keeps their minds stimulated and active, they always have singers residents love, exercise, afternoon teas for residents and families and so many more events for residents and families
Thank you Nerys for such a lovely review of our Home.
This has been extended to the whole family and we couldn't be more grateful.
Lovely, friendly staff that give excellent care.
Thank you K A for your lovely review. I am glad to hear you and family feel welcome. At Ty Eirin we are one big family.
Excellent care home, as ever built on the fantastic and empathic staff who are so warm and friendly and help create a wonderful environment. The food is always good quality and plenty of it with a wide choice to cater for all tastes. A full schedule of varied activities ensures that everyone is catered for and gets involved. You can see that there's continued investment in facilities, staff and activities which should ensure that this care home continues to deliver and give comfort to family members.
Thank you Kristian for your lovely review of our home. Its lovely to hear
Excellent facility and the staff of all levels are superb. Nothing is ever too much trouble from the housekeepers to the facility manager. One issue is the amount of items placed in the skip outside - surely in this day and age items could be repaired or even given to charity. The day unit is a brilliant resource for residents as is the cafe on a Tuesday. Keep up the food work is it much appreciated.
Thank you for your lovely review. Unfortunately due to health and safety not all electrical items can be donated to charity.
Knowing these amazing people for almost 5 years, from management, support staff, and especially nursing staff, who care for my wife, my family and I are deeply indebted. They are the very best.
Thank you Paul its a pleasure .You and your wife are such a special couple.
My nan has had fantastic care! Each time I visit she is happy and well cared for. Staff are friendly and accommodating to both my nan, myself and anyone who visits her. It has become a home away from home!
Thank you Hannah for your lovely review .I am glad you feel its a home from home because that is our aim.
My experience over the past 3 years visiting Ty Eirin has always been positive and provides great peace of mind for me. The staff, without exception, are amazingly patient, kind and caring. Also, the many activities arranged for residents are both inventive and fun....as are the activity staff too!
Thank you Jan for your lovely review and i am glad after 3 years it remains positive.
I feel very fortunate to have found such a lovely, well-run care home for my mother, that feels like a home from home. The carehome has a welcoming atmostphere to all families and a wonderful activities team. I cannot praise the nursing staff on Blue Harbour at Ty Eirin enough. All the staff are, welcoming, always in high spirits, provide outstanding care, compassionate, kind and always professional. Since settling in, my mother has improved physically and mentally. Shes has only been in the home just over two weeks, and difference is astonishing. The smile on her face, laughter, banter with the staff, speaks for itself.
Thank you Claire for the lovely review. I m glad your mother has settled in well and she is happy .A home from home feeling is our aim.
A huge thank-you to everyone in the management team, the amazing staff on all the floors, the cooks who prepare her meals with care, and the estates staff who keep everything running smoothly. Every single one of you plays a part in making Sea View a safe, comforting place for my mum.
Knowing she is in such good hands allows me to continue with my job and sleep at night without worry. The peace of mind you've given me is something I can never fully repay.
I am deeply grateful for everything you do
Kind Regards
Heather

They look after all his needs which can be challenging with my Dad's mixed dementia 'Lewy Body' they give 100% to care for Dad, but also look after us as his family.
Thank you for your lovely review Julie. We are glad to hear you are happy with the care we provide your dad and you. We are one big family at Ty Eirin
What a difference in mum now she has people around her 24 hours a day.
The care home always has time to speak to me and keeps me updated; amazing Ty Eirin and all the staff there.
Thank you for your heart felt comments. It is lovely to hear how well your mother has settled in and enjoying new things.
My overall experience with Ty Eirin is outstanding. The care team, management team and kitchen staff are all very welcoming, polite and very helpful. Prior to mams administration she was depressed, wouldn't eat, unable to walk and as if she was giving up. After just two weeks she is a totally a different person. Happy, interacting, eating and has a smile on her face once again. I would like to say a big thank you to all at Ty Eirin.
We could not have cared for our father anymore than the staff on the wards.
Everyone was there for not just our dad but also us as a family. Thank you.
Thank you Sharon for your lovely review. Your Dad was a pleasure to care for. What a true gentleman. Love and Best wishes to you and family
Ty Eirin was always first choice for my uncle as the staff here are amazing and are truly amazing with him.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad your uncle is settling in well.
My partners auntie is a resident at Ty Eirin and I could not be happier with the care that she receives. The staff clearly know her well and have taken the time to do so. She recently lost her husband and the support she received at the time and is continuing to recieve has been incredible. Staff members even attended the funeral on their day off to show support. Managers ensured that she was able to attend the funeral. It is incredibly reassuring to know how well cared for she is.
Thank you Gavin for your lovely review. Ty Eirin are their to support both the resident and their families and we are glad that we could support you all during a difficult time.
What a clean & welcoming home from home. I have never seen our friend so settled in any place other than in his own home. Having reluctantly & nervously placed him for respite, we are now considering placement permanently. The care staff on Blue Harbour have been exceptional in the way they communicate with him & have gone out of their way to get to know his little ways. Ty Eirin has filled us with confidence. As a nurse myself, I am not easily impressed, but staff are inspirational in their drive for care & compassion.
What an amazing place Ty Eirin is. I had to make the very difficult decision for my dad to come into this care home for respite care. I have always been determined that I would be the only person to look after dad, but after our experience here, I have decided that this is where I want dad to be cared for permanently. The staff on Blue Harbour are amazing and go above and beyond. They care for Dad just as I would, if not better, and I will be forever grateful to them all.
Thank yo for a lovely review. We are glad you and your dad feel welcome and happy at Ty Eirin. Welcome to our family.
My mother's granddaughter got married in July the staff were amazing they dressed her done her hair and make up she looked amazing.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We are glad your mother was able to be part of a special family day
I haven't been inside a residential retirement home for many years and was delighted to find my Aunty in a lovely light and airy day room taking part in a quiz.
My mother and myself did a little wander to my Aunty's room before finding her and all the staff we encountered were really pleasant and helpful and all were aware of who my Aunty was and where she was likely to be located and directing/taking us to her.
Ty Eirin has a friendly, homely feel.
The residents rooms looked spacious and clean as did the dining area where we were able to make ourselves and my Aunty a coffee.
We were joined by two other residents and all ended up sitting around one table having a chat.
It was such a pleasant visit.
Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad your Auntie has settled in well with us and feels part of the Ty Eirin family
