My husband has been a resident here for almost 4 years. Most of the carers are good but some lack good communication skills with residents and basic skills e.g. bed making. Management and ownership have changed during his stay but hopefully this will now remain steady. Food is adequate but not always hot and sometimes battered fish and meat difficult to cut. In general medication and health care is well administered but sometimes slow to respond to changes.

Mum has been here since November 2025. The care she receives is very good, she likes to be independent and the staff facilitate this whilst also keeping a close eye on her and helping her with daily living tasks as mum requires. The staff are friendly, chatty but very respectful of mum, they take her feelings into account and although they encourage her there is no expectation of doing activities etc if she doesn't want to. During her recent birthday they made a fuss of her but made sure she wasn't overwhelmed.

Outdoor area, front of reception, untidy, plant pots need new plants, general tidy needed.

Asked if he was happy my husband waved his hand around and said Theres Nobody - nobody. He's so lonely.

From the day we arrived, the team were fantastic. Mum had a terminal diagnosis, and she was warned of severe pain, with other unpleasant symptoms. While she was able, Mum enjoyed engaging with others and having use of facilities such as the hair salon and podiatry. Everyone at Henleigh, from the manager to the catering and maintenance team, was so kind and helpful. The carers were so respectful, considerate and gentle. The nurses managed to keep Mum comfortable to the end of her life. Thank you all.

This is my mother's second experience of staying in a care home, and this time she is much more settled and content than in her previous nursing home. There is staff stability meaning that residents, carers and other staff members all really get to know each other. The excellent range of daily activities engage my mother mentally and physically, and the activities team are so encouraging and caring. All the staff are friendly and caring, and the management very approachable; there is a sense of a team working together. Any concerns are taken seriously and addressed quickly, and I feel that my mother is well looked after. The rooms are pleasant with a range of communal areas, and there is access to the adjacent park. So much thought is given on behalf of the residents including social events to involve friends and family.

The care given to Mum is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Management are very professional and listen to any concerns. The carers are invaluable and take great care of Mum. The events and activities put on by the animation team are fabulous, and the cooks serve delicious meals. Overall we can't praise the care home enough. 10/10. Thank you so much for making our mum smile and happy in her home.

The care received by my mother in her two weeks here was exceptional. Staff were friendly, caring, attentive and knowledgeable. They are also supported us as a family in every way.

My brother has lived at Henleigh Hall for three months - the care is excellent and the staff are always happy to answer queries. The nursing care is excellent and the activities programme is varied with lots of music. A happy home.

Lots of staff at all times. Very responsive and seem kind and caring. Mum is kept comfortable and is settling in well. Information for new residents is very helpful. Food is fantastic, mum is eating better then ever!

My Mother has only been with you a month so this review is not overly informed. Where I've ticked satisfactory that's because I don't have sufficient knowledge to make a more informed view (I suspect the category to be at least satisfactory). My only comment is the facility itself is that there is no real outdoor garden to sit in on nice days. My Mum is very used to sitting out in a nice garden and was a very keen gardener herself.

In general, Henleigh Hall Care Home is good, with some very good aspects. The staff are caring and make an effort to get to know residents as individuals. They are approachable and respond quickly to concerns and questions. The activities programme is varied and regularly supplemented with new ideas. Hygiene and cleanliness procedures are generally followed carefully.

My wife has been a resident at Henleigh Hall since September 2022. Throughout that time, her care has been good. She has Parkinson's with Parkinson's dementia, conditions that are well understood by the care staff. She is treated with respect and her dignity is always acknowledged. Overall I and the family are very satisfied with her care.

My mum has been at Henleigh Hall for four years and they have helped mum's time a relatively happy stay considering her circumstances. (Parkingsons, catheter, hoist out of bed etc). All the staff are super friendly and she has formed lovely bonds with a few particular members of staff. Thank you Henleigh Hall you are true superstars.

My wife came to Henleigh over 2 years ago when it was no longer possible for her to be cared for at home. I visit every day and Henleigh has proved to be home from home for my wife and myself. My wife is happy and feels safe. I am always made welcome and included in all aspects of care.

My friend came to Henleigh Hall after a month's trial stay at another care home which she did not like. I recommended Henleigh Hall because my mum spent the last year of her life there and had been well cared for. My friend liked it and has been there for a year and a half. Despite the fact she is now 90, memory getting shorted and a few health problems, she is content there and is an active part of the residential community. I am pleased that Henleigh Hall has met her needs.

I am very happy here.
