My husband has been a resident of Madison Court for several years and throughout his care and support has been excellent. He is non verbal and unable to walk and yet every effort is made to involve him in craft and social activities. Madison Court has a very good programme of weekly activities involving
crafting, playing games, jigsaw. Relatives are invited to be included and the time spent doing this is both rewarding and relaxing. A wide range of social events take place regularly, afternoon teas with entertainment and other entertaining events such as balloon modelling. The management team are fully committed to this programme which is why it is so successful. This aspect of life at Madison Court gives a very enjoyable dimension.

It is an absolute pleasure caring for your husband, the support we recieve from our relatives is overwhelming and we can't thank you enough.

Mum moved into Maddison Court for respite. The staff were amazing. Professional, friendly and helpful especially when it was a stressful time for both mum and the family.
Mum is now a full time resident and the care given is excellent. The activities team cover all kinds of activities. The carers especially
a specific member of staff are amazing and we feel relaxed and happy leaving mum in their care

We were so lucky to have found Victoria Care Home in Rainford for the last 4 1/2 months of mums life we were able to relax in the knowledge that she was safe and well looked after. The staff from the managers, nursing staff, maintenance staff, cleaners, caterers and carers were all very helpful, approachable
and kind. They care about the family too. There are 2 activity coordinators who provide weekly bingo sessions, regular singers and craft sessions. They have a noticeboard with weekly newsletters and puzzles. Thank you Victoria Care home.

I highly recommend Madison Court. I find there is a welcoming friendly atmosphere throughout the home for both residents and their families. Mum has lived at Madison Court for over two years and is comfortable, settled and content. I am extremely pleased with how Mum is looked after by the caring, professional
and attentive staff. I am contacted if any health issues arise and these are dealt with straightaway.
The residents are actively encouraged to participate in the wide range of activities and entertainment, and looking at the photos and videos posted of the frequent parties and assorted entertainment, have great fun doing so.
I believe Madison Court to be a happy, very caring home and a good place to live.

At a time when I needed respite care, the staff at the Victoria Care Home were particularly caring in their welcome. From the outset, I was afforded dignity and care by all that I was assisted by. I cannot fault the management or staff at any level. I was not well enough to take part in any activities,
although I was aware they were available.
Victoria Care Home was warm, clean and comfortable.

My dad arrived at Kingswood Manor 2 days ago and what an incredible nursing home this is. The manager has been wonderful from the first time I spoke to her. Everyone who works there is exceptional. They really do care for their residents. They are happy, caring, helpful, and very good at their job.
They have made my dad and my family feel very welcome I would recommend this nursing home 100% because they really are fantastic. It feels like a big happy family. The day my dad arrived we had a live singer on all the staff had the residents dancing and singing it was just wonderful the atmosphere was electric we loved it. Even the manager gets up and sings, with a great voice. The bedrooms are a great size and have everything you need in it. You can add all your own furniture and photos to make it feel like home. I really didn't know what to expect from a nursing home but it has blown me away. Thank you to everyone who works there for being so kind to my dad and my family.

Mum lived with me and my family for over 20 years. It was a very difficult decision to place her in a care home. The management and staff at VCH made this transition more acceptable. They treat Mum with dignity and respect. Managers are approachable and deal with queries swiftly and efficiently.

Mum was admitted to VHC in August 2024. It was a very difficult decision for the family to make but her declining health and several nasty falls made it impossible to look after her at home.
VCH have looked after Mum so well - they have tried so hard to encourage her to eat/drink. The staff have treated
her with respect and dignity even at her most challenging times.

It was a difficult and emotional time moving Mum from her residential home into nursing care and trying to find the right place. It's fair to say that moving to Madison Court was the right decision though. Mum is receiving quality, personalised care from dedicated staff. She settled in straight away
and always seems happy and relaxed which she hadn't previously.

I would like to say how lovely the staff in Victoria Care Home have been. My dad moved to this care home from a home he didn't like and the staff here have made him feel so welcome, he loves all the staff and the care the staff give him is amazing, and too puts up with all his hard work. I would like
to give a big thank you to the management for their hard work with him.

My experience at Victoria Care Home in Rainford has been a very positive one. The staff are caring and friendly with lots of patience. My auntie has been treated with understanding and respect as her Alzheimer's progresses and becomes more challenging. The staff including the management are very approachable
and have listened and dealt with any issues that have arisen and dealt sensitively with my Aunt at all times. I feel that more activities would be really beneficial and flushing handles on toilets for the disabled would be great.

Welcoming, friendly staff. The lovely home is clean and does not have 'nasty' smells. Residents are well looked after respectfully. Staff supported family members as well as residents. Due to the nature of dementia residents tend to wander into other rooms and on occasion move items. I am aware that
every effort is made to prevent this, however, some personal items do not return despite being reported. This can cause distress. I rate Victoria Care Home highly and have no concerns regarding the safety and care of my husband. Management and staff are always available.
