My elderly mother went to live in Clumber House 6 months ago suffering with anxiety. The nurses and staff have been excellent with her and she is now happy, safe and content. The home is kept lovely and clean and all the staff are approachable, friendly and helpful. I am happy in the knowledge that she is being well taken care of.

I am always kept informed of any changes in her general health and any changes to medication are discussed with me.

Activities are good staff friendly & helpful

Very cheerful , friendly staff , very helpful and caring . Food looked good , staff always on hand for the residence , Clean , hygienic , nice lounge areas . Parking could be better , on a busy day can be a bit of nightmare to get in and out of the carpark .

We as a family were all made so welcome on our visit to look around Bentley Manor. The care home manager and deputy were both very supportive and understanding of our situation and worked quickly to assess our mother in law and to find the right room within the home. When we moved our relative into the home, again we were met with very friendly staff including the manager and deputy who presented her with a welcome pack. What a lovely touch. On subsequent visits we are made to feel at home and our mum in law has settled really well. Top marks Bentley Manor.

The home is clean, welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere. Staff work very hard and are always supportive whenever we have questions or need updates about my dad.

The family feels that our brother is very lucky to be cared for at Bentley Manor. With advanced dementia he has been kept safe in a kind & loving environment. All the employees have shown consideration & support to our brother & the whole family. I cannot thank them enough.

The staff at Bentley manor have been great during the past year. My mother has been made to feel welcome and respected. The carers work extremely hard to meet her needs and try to ensure that she is comfortable at all times.

Last summer my mother, a resident on Rylands, became ill with an immune problem which made her very poorly, even aggressive at some points, due to the effects of medication she has to take. The condition was called Bullous Pemphigoid, where her skin and tissue broke down instead of any infection she had. He skin was very bad, presenting like like chicken pox all over her body. It took several months to be diagnosed, which meant her whole body was affected.The treatment included taking steroid tablets with was the cause of her aggression and body care, including showering with special wash followed by cream being applied 2/3 x daily. All the staff who worked with her with care, patience and dedication. The dermatologist she visited last week wanted me to pass on her thanks and good wishes to all the staff as recovery would not of been possible without their fantastic care.

My brother has been in Bentley Manor for over a year now and I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their consistent kindness, patience and understanding. The rooms are clean and light; the meals are well-cooked and plentiful! The activity coordinators provide a guide range of interesting & creative activities within a friendly relaxed atmosphere. All the staff greet us with a smile and make us feel very welcome at all times. The care here for our brother is superb.

The weekly attendance of the GP and Specialist Nurse from the Memory Clinic is an excellent arrangement.

Since my dad went into the care home, he has been much more settled in himself. The staff are all very friendly and really care about the residents. The activities are varied from week to week, and it's lovely to see the residents' minds being stimulated. My dad especially enjoys the balloon/ball games, the gym sessions, and the singing and dancing. Keep up the great work!

We are very grateful for the wonderful care and support my mother-in-law receives, and we would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with respect and compassion.

Great staff. Very caring staff throughout. Anything requested is never too much trouble for them. All staff are very approachable and helpful if there's any issues wtih my family member who can be extremely difficult to deal with at times.

Very, very friendly and helpful staff. My brother is quite a tricky character, and they've gone above and beyond to support all of his requests and needs. I feel very comfortable and confident that all of my brothers neeeds are being met.

A lot of care staff, office staff dont have name badges on. What about the yellow 'Hello my name is' badges used in hospital. Good for dementia. Also everyone should have ID on. Visitors information board - needs to be visible to visitors. Presently behind locked door. Only see in passing. Carers - in unit are generally friendly and polite and seem to care for residents well. Communication - for new residents, procedure needs explaining better. Handbook needed. Chair in room ripped and there months, Smells also.

Whilst a temp resident I have found the care from all staff (incl management) to be approachable friendly & above all totally professional in everything they do.

Wonderful people under the care by Tracey and really supportive environment, the team here work really hard for the residents, I have personally observed how caring the Team are with my Mother In Law, highly recommended
