We as a family were all made so welcome on our visit to look around Bentley Manor. The care home manager and deputy were both very supportive and understanding of our situation and worked quickly to assess our mother in law and to find the right room within the home. When we moved our relative into
the home, again we were met with very friendly staff including the manager and deputy who presented her with a welcome pack. What a lovely touch. On subsequent visits we are made to feel at home and our mum in law has settled really well. Top marks Bentley Manor.

My dad lives at Cromwell Court Care Home and as a family we are very pleased with the care he receives. The staff are kind, caring and always treat him with dignity and respect. It gives us real peace of mind knowing he is safe, comfortable and well looked after.

a friendly atmosphere. Staff work very hard and are always supportive whenever we have questions or need updates about my dad.

Last summer my mother, a resident on Rylands, became ill with an immune problem which made her very poorly, even aggressive at some points, due to the effects of medication she has to take. The condition was called Bullous Pemphigoid, where her skin and tissue broke down instead of any infection she
had. He skin was very bad, presenting like like chicken pox all over her body. It took several months to be diagnosed, which meant her whole body was affected.The treatment included taking steroid tablets with was the cause of her aggression and body care, including showering with special wash followed by cream being applied 2/3 x daily. All the staff who worked with her with care, patience and dedication. The dermatologist she visited last week wanted me to pass on her thanks and good wishes to all the staff as recovery would not of been possible without their fantastic care.

My brother has been in Bentley Manor for over a year now and I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their consistent kindness, patience and understanding. The rooms are clean and light; the meals are well-cooked and plentiful! The activity coordinators provide a guide range of interesting & creative
activities within a friendly relaxed atmosphere. All the staff greet us with a smile and make us feel very welcome at all times. The care here for our brother is superb.

All grades of staff are friendly and approachable. They handle the sometimes difficult issues of residents with genuine patience and dignity and a good sense of humour. Feedback on aspects of my wife's care are frequent and relevant to my concerns and I am always made to feel welcome when I visit.
The
Home itself has a good atmosphere and completely without the " care home " smell. The gardens are a bonus though could benefit from greater care.
The weekly attendance of the GP and Specialist Nurse from the Memory Clinic is an excellent arrangement.

We have been so pleased with the care my mother-in-law has received at this nursing home. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and treat residents with genuine kindness and dignity. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing she is in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
The team goes
above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and valued, and the level of professionalism and patience they show every day is truly appreciated. The home is clean, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere that feels reassuring to families as well as residents.

Since my dad went into the care home, he has been much more settled in himself. The staff are all very friendly and really care about the residents. The activities are varied from week to week, and it's lovely to see the residents' minds being stimulated. My dad especially enjoys the balloon/ball games,
the gym sessions, and the singing and dancing. Keep up the great work!

Every time we visit we are greeted by the very pleasant staff. Everyone is very caring and they make sure that drinks and snacks are provided for the residents. The menu always looks excellent, it smells good too, my husband enjoys his food. We have been included in the exercise class, craft, sport
and gardening.

A lot of care staff, office staff dont have name badges on. What about the yellow 'Hello my name is' badges used in hospital. Good for dementia. Also everyone should have ID on. Visitors information board - needs to be visible to visitors. Presently behind locked door. Only see in passing. Carers -
in unit are generally friendly and polite and seem to care for residents well. Communication - for new residents, procedure needs explaining better. Handbook needed. Chair in room ripped and there months, Smells also.

The visitors board is in the foyer as you first step into the home above the digital log in machine and we have another one in the corridor
I am unsure why you have only given 2 stars for cleanliness as we have external visits from the infection control team who compliment our housekeepers on the cleanliness of the home and the scores come out as outstanding.

I visit my mother-in-law on a regular basis. Although unable to communicate she looked well cared for and comfortable. I spoke with the staff and they updated me on all that they are doing for her. Her room is always clean and the staff are very attentive. I have no issues with her level of care and

My brother sadly has Alzheimer's disease and was being cared for at home for the past 6 years. Caring for him became very difficult and he was admitted to hospital and on discharge needed to be placed into a care home that could manage his high needs.
Andrada and Amanda went to the hospital to assess
my brother and on the same day contacted me to say that they could accept him. They were so kind and kept me up to date with his whole discharge and transfer into Bentley manor. He was quite poorly when he left the hospital and within 24 hours my brother was washed,shaved,hair cut,fed and the transformation was incredible.
He has a lovely room looking onto the garden, the food is very good and the staff are so kind and caring and understand how to meet his needs.
I am a current nurse and the standard of care that my brother receives from all of the staff is really very good and of a high standard.
It is so nice to go and spend time with my brother in such welcoming environment.

I cannot recommend this care home enough. The care and attention ALL the staff show is amazing. Everybody involved is so thoughtful with regards to the care they provide for my mum and the emotional support they provide to us as a family. It has been such a traumatic experience for us all placing my
mum into a care home but Cromwell Court staff have been so good. Especially the Manager Tracey.

My mother has been a resident of Cromwell Court for the past five years, in that time she has been reasonably content, and interacts with other residents and staff, but especially with the manager. Her husband (my stepfather) has also been in Cromwell receiving palliative care until passing in May 2025,
and was treated with care and dignity. My concerns regarding mums medication of late have been dealt with promptly by the manager, I would like to see more outings for the residents.
