We have a much loved, very sprightly, independent 94 year old. A much loved mum, grandma and great grandma who fell and was admitted to hospital. She was then transferred to Harrogate Lodge for intermediate rehabilitation. We weren't sure what to expect, but from the start, each member of staff has been delightful. They are uplifting, patient, attentive and respectful. Affectionate bonds have definitely been made, and this is down to the constant care and attention she's received. Now to the incredible physio team. They are encouraging, rewarding and whilst professional, they've been on this journey with mom and understood her frailty and concerns. With their help and encouragement, she's pushed herself and is delighted with her new physical abilities. The manager, doctors, cleaning staff and everyone else are always ready to help. Mum will miss them all, and we will remember them fondly with gratitude, especially Leesa.

What a lovely residential home this is. I look after a gentleman who has autism he was in need of post operative care. We contacted Fleetwood Heights to see if they could provide respite care. We spoke to Fiona the site manager who has gone above and beyond to help Chris settle into life at the home. The staff are wonderful, so caring. The home is exceptionally clean and you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fleetwood Heights. A fantastic place!

They give the greatest care for my 92 year old father. They are all respectful and professional and tireless in their attention to his many needs. As a family we feel very fortunate that he was able to go to Harrogate Lodge for his care

absolutely good staff and place , impressive care shown and attention to residents' care needs. Staff attended to any questions and assisted liaison with medical staff when needed. The medical team was also very professional.

My Dad is currently a long term resident in the dementia care setting at Harrogate Lodge. He can have unstable mood, but no matter what his behaviour for the day is, he is always met with grace, kindness and care from the staff at Harrogate Lodge. They never fail to meet him on his terms, which is a very dark, dry sense of humour, and use this to help him feel at ease, and support him in his day to day needs. They treat Dad like a real person, and not just a number going through the motions. The transition to care at a relatively early age for him and us as a family has been very hard, but not only do all the team look out for Dad, they also support us as a family too. There's always activities and outings to be involved in, and treats, even with a tipple or two much to Dad's delight! The fact he's been able to keep as much dignity as possible in this journey has been lovely to see. We feel very Lucky to have found Harrogate Lodge.

Couldn't be happier with the care my mom is receiving from Fleetwood Heights, the staff go above and beyond to care for my mom from the cleaners right up to the management and all in between. The home is spotlessly clean, rooms are very homely, and nothing is too much for the whole team combined... most importantly, mom is settled and happy overall. Thank you to each and every one of you!

Absolutely wonderful care home. Every member of staff is welcoming, professional and caring. Lots of activities for the residents to join in. The food is wonderful and the rooms are lovely. I'm so glad Dad got a place here, he loves it and we feel relaxed as he's getting the care he deserves.

If I was in the same situation again, I would choose Fleetwood Heights again. A true 5 star service!

Care is excellent, staff are friendly and caring; there is a wide variety of food options and portion sizes are varied according to appetite, there are activities available to interact but residents can spend time in their own rooms which are well decorated, I would fully recommend.

I have been extremely impressed with the care I have received at the home. Anything I have requested has been dealt with as promptly as possible. Without using names, the staff have been absolutely brilliant and all done with a smile. I have also found plenty of laughter to lighten your time here.

I wanted to echo the many comments on here praising the care provided by Harrogate Lodge. My father lived at Harrogate Lodge for 18 months before he passed away in November. Throughout his time there, he received excellent medical care from kind and caring staff who genuinely looked after him with compassion and professionalism. What particularly stood out was the one-to-one attention he received, especially when he became very poorly. Staff took the time to help him with feeding and other personal care needs, never rushing and always maintaining his dignity. The attention to detail in every aspect of his care was evident, and it gave us great comfort knowing he was being looked after so well. The support extended to our family too. Staff were always available to answer questions, keep us informed, and help us through what was a very difficult time. The overall atmosphere was one of genuine kindness and care, which made an enormous difference to both my father and to us.

Excellent staff looked after Mum after a stay in hospital. Everyone here goes above and beyond to help not just Mum but Dad and all the family too. Sympathetic and treat you with care, kindness and dignity. All the staff's hard work made it possible for Mum to come home after three weeks. Huge, huge thank you xx

I would highly recommend this as a lovely place to live, if home is no longer an option.

The outpouring of love from the staff for my father and towards the family meant so much for us.

Mum was given rehabilitation care here following a three week stay in Leeds General Infirmary after a fall and breaking her hip in May 2025. I have nothing but the highest praise for all staff and management at Harrogate Lodge. Mum was only in their care for three weeks, but it was excellent throughout. Her room was lovely and homely. The physiotherapy team were so kind and considerate to my Mum and worked really hard with her to encourage her to mobilise and recover. Knowing she was in good hands was a great comfort to me as I lived many miles away. All the staff were never too busy to communicate with me and always listened when I needed to change things slightly as time went by. Sadly, in spite of all the team's efforts, Mum didn't want to engage and was transferred onwards to a nursing home, in which she has since passed away. I cannot thank everyone at Harrogate Lodge enough for all the kindness, and support they gave me and my Mum during a very difficult and worrying time.

The loving care given was second to none. His stay was made so easy. Lindsey, Natalie and team have been great and nothing has been too much trouble.

The staff are great, the cook, the cleaners the nursing and care staff and anyone else I have forgotten. Keep up the good work.

My mum as been in Fleetwood heights for nearly 2 weeks a few teething problems but in general cant fault it the staff are all so friendly they go out of there way to help her her room is spotless the food is mitchlen star quality any issues get sorted straight away I would highly recommend Fleetwood heights

My experience with Fleetwood Heights, what not to say! An absolutely warm welcome on arrival. The staff all came to meet and greet her and unbelievably so helpful. For me I was able to leave and go on holiday with the knowledge she was in safe hands. The same can be said on my arrival to collect her. On both occasions I was able to see that the building was very impressive and felt secure. Mum's experience whilst I was away, she loved it ,she loved the size of the bed, the room and bathroom. She loved the fact that she could walk to both gardens, she loved the food and even took up knitting again. Would she go again, in a heart beat. I just need a find another holiday to go on.
