Having a loved one fall foul of this terrible disease is heartbreaking and I can honestly say that without the staff I don't know how my mum could have coped! I would recommend Woodlands's over and over again

The environment is incredibly warm and welcoming. Living far away, its comforting to know she is in safe hands. I highly recommend this care home for its exceptional standard of service and loving staff.

My mum has just moved into this care home and she settled immediately. The staff are wonderful, caring and professional. Good communication as well. I recommend the home. Her room is personalised which allows familiarity

Every member of staff is friendly, polite & helpful. My mum is treated with respect & dignity at all times, I am kept updated with all aspects of my mums care promptly. Although my mum is not always keen on the food she is given the menu is varied and snacks are readily available. The Activities team provide regular entertainment and interaction with residents. Although the domestic staff work hard, I sometimes feel some areas (including Mums room) could be cleaner

My mum became unwell and lisa biggy noticed straight away that my mum wasn't well. While waiting for the doctor to arrive, Lisa checked my mum's oxygen levels and temperature. To which my mum had a high temp. The doctor arrived and said to get an ambulance. Lisa rang the ambulance then helped to sort a bag out for my mum with clothes and got her medications ready and her passport to the hospital. Obviously she had rang myself before ringing the ambulance. But the love and care Lisa gives to the residents is second to none. She treats them all as though they are her family. Lisa and her team will always update me. And answer any questions I have. I definitely picked the right home for my mum. It's very clean, smells nice and nice and bright. The new activity team is amazing also. My mum loves keeping busy, so loves the activities. Also a shout out to Suzanne on reception. Another amazing lady.

My auntie is happy here & is well looked after. She is very complimentary about the staff. She said today "they are loving staff".

Everybody that works there helps myself and I can't thank them enough. Nothing ever seems to be a problem and thanks for all the trouble you take.

It is hard for him to participate in any activities, hence a lower mark.

I am happy with the care my husband recieves in the care home. He is clean and enjoys the food, which seems to be a good standard. I am not as happy with the clothes and shoes situation. Items go missing. The staff in the laundry do try very hard to get them to the correct rooms. The unit my husband is in is Spring and is clean however I do feel the living needs refurbishment.

Staff are really attentive and caring and management approachable. My dad has been living here for 16 months and enjoys the company, nice to see him settled and enjoy laughs with the staff. Always kept updated on any changes really is home from home.

Recently have noticed the cleanliness of the place has gone down today had to sweep my dads floor its not the first time also had to change his sheet wot had been put on that day was that thin I could see thru it also had holes in it not exceptable I supply his duvet and pillow and quilt cover not the sheet the floors on the unit are black full of spilt drink marks I no staff take holiday and have sick days but this is your problem to supply more staff wen needed my dad is paying a lot of money to stay there its needs a good deep clean all threw other than that its a nice home hope this can be sorted.

All in all very disappointing

I do not know how much money is being paid by my sister-in-law for my brother. That is between his son's and wife.

Today we watched how a resident was cared for after a fall. This just shows how you care for your resident in a care compassionate way.

We cannot thank the team at Woodlands Care Home enough for the incredible love and kindness they show to our relative from the moment she arrived, every single staff member has treated her with absolute dignity patience, and warmth. The home itself is spotlessly clean , the food is also excellent with fresh, varied meals cooked daily. It has brought our family immense peace of mind to know she is in such safe professional hands. They truly go above and beyond every single day and we highly recommend them .

Would like to thank the staff for all the help and reassurance when settling in our family member here .All staff are friendly and welcoming creating a positive , safe environment for the residents.They go above and beyond to ensure all care needs are met ,we have seen a massive difference in our family member who is now happy and content in their new home .They have nutritional meals and have noticed our family member is a lot happier with their food choices here .A high standard of cleanliness throughout the care home .We are happy we chose this care home in such a difficult time it has helped so much. The garden is beautiful our family members favourite part especially the roses a reminder from their own home a joy for them to see making it feel like home .

Care for my Mother is excellent, staff are always approachable and keep you informed of any issues or concerns they have related to your families care. The care home is always clean and well managed..

Minimal activities, nothing regular, confined to celebration of particular day, or a singer with tapes. One newsletter since I came here in October 25. No trips out. No residents meetings. No attempt to find out what activities individuals might be interested in.
