My husband has been living in Hilltop Court Care Home for almost 3 years. I have always been satisfied with the care he has received. There has been a lot of changes over the years, some staff have left and new staff starting but he is quite content. His room is always clean, in fact, the cleaning is
very good all over the home. I do think they should get more stimulation, but they are trying to do this. The staff always make a fuss on birthdays, etc.

My mum has lived here for 2 weeks. The care she's receiving is very good. She's always clean and she looks to be settling in. She likes their food too. It's so good to see mums being taken care of, nothing seems to much trouble. Thank you.

Some of the staff are v caring and helpful but this isn't consistent across the board. At times the main lounge only has one or even no staff present. The grey rom where you can visit the residents is ideal when there's a few family members wanting to visit. I've noticed positive changes in numbers
of staff, smartness of staff and cleanliness etc since harbour took over.

Woodlands Care Home

Woodlands Care Home cannot be faulted. My sister has been a resident there for several years and her care has been excellent. All the members of the Woodlands team treat her and other residents with absolute care and respect. They are genuinely concerned to ensure all her needs are met. They keep me
and my relatives fully informed and contact us immediately if there are any concerns. She is always clean, as is the whole home. When she is ill, she is well looked after; when there are health concerns, medical professionals are immediately involved.
Relatives' concerns are dealt with immediately. There are regular meetings where they are free to air any concerns. Policy is often modified as a result of relatives' observations and they are kept informed about any changes. The warmth of the welcome at reception is a true reflection of the Woodlands atmosphere. I would recommend it unreservedly to anybody seeking a suitable home for a loved one.

My partner had a stroke in January 25 at this time he went to hospital and I was told he would not survive the weekend, but he proved them wrong and after 2 weeks he returned to Woodlands. However he was not eating and drinking, he was reviewed by a Paramedic from the GP surgery who was excellent with
T and myself, she said she was not ready to give up on him yet , and with the care and determination of her and the staff on his unit his recover is unbelievable, his mobility is still poor and he still had thickener in his fluid , he as been revisited by SALT and is now on level 6 diet, he is back to the character he was before, I can't thank them enough,

Woodlands is the best! Our mum has been a resident for almost 2 years on Daisy Hill. The care mum has received from the team has been top notch. Lisa/ Jayne/ Kate and all of the staff have shown mum such patience and affection during the last few years. Although our mum can't communicate well anymore,
she can still say I love you, and we know this is because she feels safe and well looked after at Woodlands. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy, clothes washed and hair done. Thank you team - we will always be grateful for the kind hearted and professional culture you have created at Woodlands.

My mother's time at St Catherine's was sadly limited but during the time before she passed was excellent mainly driven by the professionalism, empathy and genuine care shown by staff. I have to spotlight Janet who demonstrated the attributes of an angel when my mother passed. Her honesty, sensitivity
and genuine empathy made the worst moments possible. All staff made us feel welcomed, and provided assurance that my mother was being cared for in her final days with dignity and respect. Thank you.

We were worried about moving dad into a care home. However he's settled and his health has actually improved since moving to peel moat. The staff are friendly and always able to update us on how dad has been doing. They respond quickly to any change in dads behaviour, getting additional medication/support
when required. We now feel happy that my dad is getting the care he needs and is safe.

Due to various medical conditions my husband was allocated a place at Bright Meadows Care Home, on discharge from hospital, and I was very distraught at the idea, also we have been married 63 years and always looked after each other. He has been resident now for 6 weeks and settling in. I am very impressed
with the relaxed atmosphere (and only strict rule of no visiting during mealtimes) the staff are very pleasant and are professional, they always answer any questions I have, and keep me informed of everything, so I dont get worried now, I can visit every day, we can also sit in the gardens.

Everyone has a smile on their face and a warm greeting as soon as you entre from reception through to the lounge which is were I normally visit. I have a laugh and a joke with the other residents who are there as well as the staff. The staff make sure everyone is involved with any ativities they do
and no one is left out. I have seen staff mend a walking frame to just holding someone's hand, I think this makes all the difference to the residents and me a visitor.
