My father had an intermediate care bed at Abigail Lodge. I can't speak highly enough of the care given to him during his 4 week stay. The staff were wonderful. They looked after him well and he really enjoyed their constant interactions. The food was wonderful too. The staff went out of their way to ensure that all of his needs were met. He was very happy here. Thank you everyone who looked after him so well. I have no hesitation in recommending Abigail Lodge wholeheartedly

Clean ,tidy friendly plenty to do with lots of happy and friendly smiles .Would definitely recommend for the best service of care .Attentive with plenty of activities always makes sure everyone is involved in some way shape or form which is amazing to see .

My mum is confined to her room on end of life care but she gets all the help she requires, especially from Cliff, Alan, Shawn and the night staff

I have been in Barrington Lodge for 4 weeks & have been treated so careingly by the staff. I couldn't walk when I arrived and in 4 short weeks I am walking with 2 sticks. This would never have happened without all the encouragement of the staff. An amazing experience with such dedication + kindness from everyone

My relative has been a resident in Abigail Lodge for the past 5 yrs. He was made to feel very comfortable and secure in this environment. The staff are incredible and so accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. I have recently been staying overnight due to my cousin's health deteriorating. ALL the staff were so supportive during my stay and I cannot thank them enough. Definitely would recommend this care home.

All the staff have been amazing helping my mam during her 6 weeks stay we can't thanks them enough for all the help and kindness , food been lovely , she has enjoyed all the activities made some lovely friends while in there she going missed you all

My Uncle stayed here for months and the girls looked after him like angels because thats what they are angels Nothing was a problem to any of them They were kind curtious and overall just brilliant they couldn't of done any more for him. All the staff are very professional and the food was very good he loved being here. thank you.

My father stayed for 1 week of respite. He really enjoyed his stay and asked if he could come again. The staff listened to my information on my father's care and carried out their duties with empathy and respect. I cannot fault the experience he had, and I am truly grateful, as I was very worried about the stay, as it was his first experience in residential care.

A friend of mine has been admitted to Hollie Hill and he is doing so much better thanks to the great care the Staff give him. Prior to this I had another friend in there at Christmas time. We actually thought we were going to lose him but the Staff at the Home made sure he was extremely well looked after and he made a complete turn around and is now back at home thriving.

My bother was being care for by staff in the above home and the care was very good. The staff were excellent to the many family members who spent many hours with my brother before he died. We were extremely grateful to them all.

My friend was transferred for nursing care from a previous care home that couldn't cater for his health needs. His health has improved to such an extent in the hands of the excellent nursing staff at Hollie Hill, that he feels confident to return home now. What he does not realise, however, is that he'll no longer get a cooked breakfast and 3-course lunch if he were to go home, even with home carers! Hollie Hill staff are friendly and caring. I find it quite relaxing when I go to visit and am able to make us both a cuppa in the little kitchen there. Many thanks Hollie Hill for doing an excellent job!

As a very sociable lady, Mam had a wonderful time at Hollie Hill; we couldn't have hoped for better.

Mum has been a resident on the nursing wing for a couple of months now. The care and respect shown to her by all staff is brilliant. Any suggestions made by myself and other family members are considered and tried and it feels that nothing is too much trouble.

Although mum is not very outgoing, the staff all try to get her involved in any activities which are going on, rather than letting her stagnate in her room, again much appreciated by the rest of the family as we can not be with her all the time.

Mum has been particularly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the laundry service. This may not resonate with many, but mum has always been smartly dressed and having clean pressed clothes is important to her.

A special shout out to Deb's & Debra who were a great comfort to our family when my Dad passed away. They both showed compassion & respect, we can't thank you both enough for your kindness & hugs. Will definitely recommend this outstanding Care Home.

My mam has lived in Holly Hill for just over a year. She's very happy and content. She admits she eats far too much because the food is delicious, she is very happy with all the staff, and often goes out for trips. Her room is small, but all her own pictures are on the walls, and she feels at home. This makes me feel very happy knowing she is loved and looked after.

As a physiotherapist working for 30 years with the NHS, I have seen the consequences of prolonged bed rest involving the elderly. Skin breakdown—especially over pressure areas, and low mood are common. With these issues in mind, I want to congratulate Michelle and her fabulous team for their exemplary care. After 3 months of continuous bed rest, my mother-in-law is in excellent spirits due to the kindness and interaction of staff. Furthermore, her skin is in perfect condition due to first class care. Big thanks to the cleaners, too. You are all outstanding! Thank you

I feel very happy when I was given the chance to rehabilitate in the home where my brother lives, but once I got here, I was even happier. We are both well cared for, and I am improving daily with support from staff.
