Madison Court Care Home is a modern care home that is dedicated to providing care in general nursing care, residential dementia and dementia nursing.

The home has three floors with 66 rooms that are all en-suite and there are two large lounges on the ground floor that are spacious, comfortable and homely for residents and their families to enjoy. The home is designed to get the most out of a team of talented carers and provide residents with a daily lifestyle in which they feel secure and respected.

The enclosed patio garden area is used for activities, entertainment and to plant and grow both flowers and vegetables! The outside area has recently been improved to include the planting of fruit trees and extension of the raised bed areas, order to make gardening more accessible.

Madison Court Care Home is participating in a number of community and wider national initiatives. The activities team and residents attend three dementia cafes locally as well as getting involved in packing shoe boxes for ‘Operation Christmas Child’ and have been a collecting point for charitable aid for the homeless.

Apart from the good deeds the residents are involved in, their busy activity programme includes scheduled activities to take residents to rugby matches, bingo and tea dances as well as entertainment within the home.

As a family, it was a very difficult decision to move mum into a care home. Eight months later we know it was the right thing to do. Madison Court and its staff are amazing! They are committed and caring professionals who have welcomed and embraced us as a family. We cannot recommend Madison Court
highly enough to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

It was a difficult decision to put my father into a nursing home. But after visiting Madison Court I was happy that my father would be looked after by the wonderful staff there.
The place had a warm welcoming feel and the accommodation was excellent.

Moving our Mum into a care home was one of the most difficult decisions we, as a family, have had to make. However, nearly four and a half years later, we now know it was the right decision and that Madison Court was the right choice for Mum. She is happy, settled and cared for by an excellent group
of staff, many of whom have been at Madison for a long time. Mum is treated with dignity and respect by staff who are obviously very committed and care a great deal for her wellbeing. We are always made to feel welcome when we visit and are kept up to date on how she is doing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Madison Court.

I don't have enough words for this place and its staff. They were compassionate, empathetic, accommodating and so knowledgable with my mum and all of our family during my mums short stint at the home. One staff member in particular is amazing and so are her team. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this

I have been impressed with the care and support provided at Madison Court. The staff are genuinely caring and always put the residents first. My wife, who has dementia, has settled in very well here. The staff have been so patient and understanding, and I have noticed a real improvement in her mood
and engagement. The activities programme is excellent, with a range of options for different interests, and the home is well maintained. I am very happy with the care my wife receives, and would recommend this care home to others.

Mum had to be moved here from residential due to requiring nursing care. The difference is unbelievable she is happier, brighter and more alert. Her medications have been reduced and she appears more responsive.

We are thrilled to read this mum is thriving and you get to enjoy time spent with her, we have a great team of nurses RMN's and RGN's with more than 200 years of experience between them and then to add the cherry on top we have great GP's who hold an MDT every week who will access external professional teams for us, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure our resident are recieving the correct care and treatment, it is all about the team work.

My wife has been in Madison court for 6 months now and is quite settled. We often go for coffee or to visit our daughter and will say shall we go back now which gives me a sense of relief. The staff are very friendly and professional and my wife is not stressed at Madison court.

My husband has been a resident of Madison Court for several years and throughout his care and support has been excellent. He is non verbal and unable to walk and yet every effort is made to involve him in craft and social activities. Madison Court has a very good programme of weekly activities involving
crafting, playing games, jigsaw. Relatives are invited to be included and the time spent doing this is both rewarding and relaxing. A wide range of social events take place regularly, afternoon teas with entertainment and other entertaining events such as balloon modelling. The management team are fully committed to this programme which is why it is so successful. This aspect of life at Madison Court gives a very enjoyable dimension.

Mum moved into Maddison Court for respite. The staff were amazing. Professional, friendly and helpful especially when it was a stressful time for both mum and the family.
Mum is now a full time resident and the care given is excellent. The activities team cover all kinds of activities. The carers especially

A really well run home, very clean. Staff are always helpful. Lots of activities for residents to join in with. my mother in law always says she is happy here and the staff are lovely. We are very happy as a family that she is safe and well. I always recommend this home to other friends and my colleagues.

I highly recommend Madison Court. I find there is a welcoming friendly atmosphere throughout the home for both residents and their families. Mum has lived at Madison Court for over two years and is comfortable, settled and content. I am extremely pleased with how Mum is looked after by the caring, professional
and attentive staff. I am contacted if any health issues arise and these are dealt with straightaway.
The residents are actively encouraged to participate in the wide range of activities and entertainment, and looking at the photos and videos posted of the frequent parties and assorted entertainment, have great fun doing so.
I believe Madison Court to be a happy, very caring home and a good place to live.

The staff really care for the residents and treat them like family. Both of my parents have been cared for at Madison Court over a couple of years now and everytime I visit I can see they are all well looked after. This gives me great peace of mind to know.

It was a difficult and emotional time moving Mum from her residential home into nursing care and trying to find the right place. It's fair to say that moving to Madison Court was the right decision though. Mum is receiving quality, personalised care from dedicated staff. She settled in straight away

My father-in-law recently transferred here from home. The transition was particularly emotional for him and us. I can honestly say that the staff went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition. They were so understanding, kind and caring to us all and made us feel like part of the Madison Court

I simply can't praise Madison Court enough. The care, service and support is just fantastic.
My mum moved in during the pandemic and right from the start we had superior help and support, e.g. providing a video tour, organising mum's COVID test and providing a taxi for her.
Over the last 3 and a half
years, until she passed away, the staff were so kind and patient with Mum - who could be fiesty at times! - and very supportive of us. Everyone I spoke to during my visits was lovely: not just the nurses and carers, but the administrator, laundry ladies, managers...everyone!
Madison Court provides entertainment and activities for residents, and it was wonderful to see Mum singing along with guest musicians via an active online group which is run by staff. I don't live near St. Helens so this was a valuable way of keeping in touch.
It's traumatic accepting that a loved one needs to be in a nursing home but, thanks to the team at the home, I never doubted for a second that we made the right decision.

Excellent service in every aspect. Madison Court treated Dad for all of his health requirements with utmost professionalism. Maybe even more importantly they treated him as him right to the end. The level of care and respect from all teams, medical care, cleaners, cooks, laundry, reception, and grounds
people, was exceptional. This team took the time to care for us alongside Dad. No praise is high enough.

My husband's 'end-of-life' experience at Madison Court was made so much easier by the exemplary attention given to his many health issues and dementia by 'without exception' the management, nurses, carers, cleaning, laundry, catering and maintenance. We had a longer chance of 'goodbye' as a result.
