Madison Court Care Home is a modern care home that is dedicated to providing care in general nursing care, residential dementia and dementia nursing.

The home has three floors with 66 rooms that are all en-suite and there are two large lounges on the ground floor that are spacious, comfortable and homely for residents and their families to enjoy. The home is designed to get the most out of a team of talented carers and provide residents with a daily lifestyle in which they feel secure and respected.

The enclosed patio garden area is used for activities, entertainment and to plant and grow both flowers and vegetables! The outside area has recently been improved to include the planting of fruit trees and extension of the raised bed areas, order to make gardening more accessible.

Madison Court Care Home is participating in a number of community and wider national initiatives. The activities team and residents attend three dementia cafes locally as well as getting involved in packing shoe boxes for ‘Operation Christmas Child’ and have been a collecting point for charitable aid for the homeless.

Apart from the good deeds the residents are involved in, their busy activity programme includes scheduled activities to take residents to rugby matches, bingo and tea dances as well as entertainment within the home.

I researched quite a lot of care homes and many did not come up to our required standard, but on recommendation from a few friends, we chose Madison and have been very pleased with the home. The staff have been wonderful and very helpful. The place is always clean. I feel my wife is in safe and caring
hands and would recommend this care home.

My mother was admitted for assessment in September 2021. The family's intention was to take her out of Madison Court after her assessment and put her in a suitable care facility nearer to home. After seeing the care of Madison's staff and how well looked after she was, it was decided to leave her in

Before Mum went into care, we as a family researched quite a lot of homes, and this one had very good reviews. We felt happy that the staff were very friendly and caring.
We had a few concerns which got dealt with quickly and professionally.
The staff all do an amazing job and Mum settled in straight

Our experience of previous homes has not been great. Mum has been in Madison Court for almost three years and the family have nothing but praise for the team. Each team member is caring, knows Mum and shows empathy in any communication. During COVID the home have been unbelievable, which has given us,

Mum has been in Maddison Court for over 2 years. I visited many care homes before finally being fortunate enough to find Maddison. The less said about some of the other homes the better.


We have found the staff who take care of mum exceptional, I won't mention individuals, because they are all very

special people, in all departments, doing a very difficult job.


If you are struggling, (like I was) to put a relative in a care home you will not do better than Maddison.


I can not speak too highly about Maddison and the staff. They also looked after my aunt and her family share the same feelings as me.

My mum has recently been admitted to Madison Court's Tudor Unit and I just want to say how lovely the staff are and how they put you at ease. As soon as my mum arrived they asked us all about her history, her past jobs and her children and even what she liked as a treat to eat. This may seem like a
small thing but it's not, it's massive to us as a family knowing that the staff are interested in knowing about our mum and what her life was like before dementia helping them to look after her as we would if she was still at home. Mum is settling day by day and it's such a relief. Thank you for all your hard work.

We were so pleased to find Madison Court Care Home. Our decision that this was the right place for Mum was proven correct from the first day she arrived. She was admitted to Rylands Unit in August 2019 and from day one, the care she received was excellent. All the staff had a very professional, caring
manner when dealing with individual residents. Mum was transferred to Tudor Unit in February 2020 as the staff felt that her needs would be better met there. The staff on both units kept me well informed and I was more than happy with the care Mum received. Visiting Mum in Madison was an uplifting experience. I was always welcomed by the staff and it was great to see the variety of experiences and entertainment that the staff provided for the residents. Sadly, Mum passed away in July and I know that she was extremely well cared for until her passing. I have a great fondness for Madison Court Care Home, we could not have chosen a better place for Mum to spend her final year.

Madison Court provided a caring environment for my mother. From my first visit, I was impressed by the engagement of staff at all levels, from the willingness of management to give detailed personal updates on my mother's wellbeing during periods while I was away overseas, to the attention and kindness
that individual staff paid her in her day-to-day care and the staff clearly knew her well. the home is embedded in its community with visits from local school children and other groups. Unfortunately, my mother's residence here coincided with the Covid-19 pandemic. Madison Court took very early action, including closing to all visitors some weeks before the national lockdown in March. Despite these efforts, a handful of residents caught the disease and my mother passed away due to it. The staff went above and beyond in order to support my mother. They were proactive in anticipating and providing for all her needs and were wonderful in the way they would comfort her, holding her hand and stroking her hair. We were able to video call every day for an hour or so. The staff are passionate about their vocation and care for the residents. I would highly recommend Madison Court.

My mother has been in Madison Court since June 2019 and the care she received here is second to none. The team of carers are excellent and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Mum has settled in very well and seems to be happy when I visit her. She is 97 years old, has dementia and I am so
relieved to have found Madison Court and for the great care that they care for my mum and all the other residents.

My lovely Mum finally required 24-hour care in March this year after being cared for at home by Dad for the past 4 years with a diagnosis of Dementia. My Aunt is still a resident in Rylands Unit and the home came highly recommended to us.
Mum spent 9 weeks on Rylands unit and was transferred to Duckeries
as her condition deteriorated for the last 3 weeks of her life, sadly passing away on 27th June. The care she received in both units was exemplary, the whole home feels welcoming and warm and the staff are kind, helpful and caring.
We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and we were cared for as a family with compassion and support during her last few days of life. The care delivered is completely person-centred and very obviously has an ethos of maintaining the dignity, respect and identity of the residents at all times. As a family, we cannot thank Madison Court enough and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone making this very difficult decision.

My uncle lived on the residential floor for almost nine months and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. During regular visits by family members, we always saw staff treat all residents with care, respect and dignity. Madison Court is a care/nursing home that genuinely cares for the vulnerable
people who live there. Family members are made to feel very welcome and are included in all aspects of their relative’s care.
Residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities that are arranged by a dedicated team.
There are many displays on the walls, related to popular culture, local history and sport, all designed to stimulate memories and discussion for the residents.
I would not hesitate to recommend Madison Court Care Home to families searching for high quality, 24-hour care for a loved one.

My dad was accepted by Madison Court nursing home (the Duckeries) as an emergency placement when he suddenly deteriorated and was no longer able to be cared for at home.
My mum was very anxious and did not want him to go because people had told her it was a horrible place.
This was totally unfounded.
My
dad was taken to The Duckeries on 27th April and sadly passed away on 20th May - in his short time with them I found all the staff to be very caring and compassionate not only to my dad but to his extended family. He was treated with dignity at all times. We were included in his care every step of the way with regular phone calls to update us on his condition which was invaluable as we all live quite a distance away.
We were encouraged to stay with dad when his condition deteriorated further and were supplied with tea/coffee toast and support and a friendly chat when needed.
We, as a family, cannot thank them enough for the care that they provided for Dad in his short time with them.

Rylands Unit is a family! My dad loves it and feels at home, as do I and all his visitors.
The care received by all the residents is fantastic - the staff are kind, helpful, skilful and they CARE. This relates to ALL staff - carers/caretaker/domestic, etc.

Maddie Court is my mother in law's home, but to our family, it is more than just a home, it's where she is cared for above and beyond and treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
The facilities are extremely good, along with the staff and extra activities such as trips and booked entertainment
for Mum.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to any interested suitor.

We cannot thank the Madison Court manager and staff enough for the care they give to my Mother, she has 100% care in all areas, and we as a family are treated with the same care, respect and politeness every time we visit. We first met the manager when she came to see us at our home, to sort out getting
our Mother in the home, it had already been recommended to us by friends. From the first day we entered there with Mum, the manager met us on arrival and put us all totally at ease, it was such a difficult, upsetting time for us all to admit defeat and have to put mum in care, but we can honestly say we have never looked back. Mum is treated with every inch of care and respect that could be given, we can not give any negatives whatsoever to how Mum and all of us are treated. Care, treatment, cleanliness and a wide variety of food on the menu to meet every need. We highly recommend Madison Court.
