The 0 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Regents View Care Home is based on 0 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

I wish we hadn't put my nana here, if it wasn't for her condition deteriorating, she would still be at The Laurels (their sister home) which was a million times better.
I've never heard of a care home ask family to come in and feed their relative then to add insult to injury ask them if they would come and sit with them because they are agitated (on a Easter Sunday). I mean, come on, you are supposed to be trained to deal with situations like that, you also get paid plenty to employ more carers to meet the demands of the residents.
How likely would you be to recommend Regents View Care Home? Extremely Unlikely
Overall Standard: Poor
Care / Support: Poor
Treated with Dignity: Poor
Food & Drink: Poor
Management: Very Poor
Safety / Security: Good
Value for Money: Very Poor
Ian Hindhaugh, Home Manager at Regents View Care Home responded to this review on 18 Apr 2016:
Many thanks for taking the time to review Regents View Care Home - we do appreciate all comments and feedback on the service we provide. I have looked into the issues you have raised and can confirm that we invited relatives in as we believed a familiar face and voice may have helped calm your relative, as research has shown that this can sometimes relax agitated residents. Staff understood that relatives were unable to make it due to other commitments. We as a team were looking at all options to minimise risk and ensure your relative was as comfortable as possible. I’d be happy to talk further with you about this so please get in touch if you wish to do so. Kind regards, Ian Hindhaugh.
