My brother has now had the third anniversary of being in Belle Vue Nursing Home. The care is exceptional and he is very well looked after. I can leave after my visits and know he is contented and carers are on call if he requires anything. Nothing is too much trouble.

We feel very lucky to have found this superb home and would fully recommend it. Thank you to Managenent, Nurses and caring staff for your continued efforts. It is very much appreciated.

I'd like to thank every member of the team at Belle Vue. My bed-bound 87 year -old Pop moved there in May 2025 for what we feared would be end of life care - instead of which his health has improved so much that in the past two weeks he has felt well enough to join 2 outings to Paignton sea front, and even enjoy an ice cream! Witnessing this today was very poignant as we thought he might never see the outside world again. We are so grateful to the amazing, professional, kind and friendly team. Thanks to them my Pop has more energy and more pleasure from life than he has had for years, and we've had the best conversations with him.

Reply from Tina Bartin, Manager at Belle Vue Care Home

Thank you for your heartfelt response, seeing your father enjoy trips to Paignton sea front and eat ice cream is wonderful, and we're so pleased he's feeling happier and stronger. It is a privilege to care for him, and your kind words mean so much to every member of the Belle Vue team. Thank you for placing your trust in us.

Overall Experience
I am extremely pleased with the care and support my friend receives at this care home. She is a permanent resident and lives with dementia, so it is very important to know that she is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. The staff are always kind, patient, and treat her with dignity and respect.
The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, is always clean and well maintained, and provides excellent support tailored to residents' individual needs. It is reassuring to see how much the staff genuinely care about the people living there.
I would especially like to mention Mark, who consistently goes above and beyond to help my friend. His kindness, compassion, and dedication make a real difference to her daily life and provide great reassurance to those who care about her. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and his commitment to ensuring residents are happy and well looked after is truly outstanding.

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for high-quality.

What a fabulous carehome
other care homes have struggled with dad's needs and because of that he became withdrawn.
Seeing him today this home have transformed him, he looks so well looked after. You can see hes cared for.
They made such an effort on my parents 40th anniversary. We are very greatful.

Dementia is extremely difficult to manage and I think with the care, activities and knowledge they have it done to a tea.

When visiting Belle Vue staff have been welcoming and told me where my friend was. I have always been offered a drink on visiting and made to feel at ease when needing to discuss anything. My friend is always kept clean, with fresh bedding, towels etc. My friend is allowed to do cleaning and dusting which she loves and feel better when allowed to do chores and tasks, this helps her to feel useful which she loves.

Recently had to find a suitable care home for my Aunt who was suffering from delirium. Tina and the team were so accommodating and helpful. The facilities are amazing. I would visit daily and can't fault the care my Aunt received. My Aunt has now recovered and has been able to return to independent living and I can't thank Tina and her Team enough for everything they did to aid my Aunts recovery. If full time care was ever required again in the future this would be my first choice without a doubt. Amazing Team and Amazing care home.

Have had experience with many care homes in Torbay but Belle Vue is the most outstanding. My friend is well cared for and the management and staff are very professional. Do not like the policy of switching on the T.V. at all times

Could promote discussion amongst residents especially when doing a quiz

Dad is happy, settled and safe at Belle Vue. He enjoys singing and dancing and he is often the life and soul of such activities. I am now struggling to take Dad out of the care home because of his needs. However when the weather gets better Dad will thrive on getting out more as mentioned by one of the carers who Dad gets on very well with, as he is from up north too!

I consider my friend to be well cared for and safe. At times she is at a loss to know what to do in a morning, but the afternoons always have a planned activity. Most of the staff are friendly and have the resident's needs at the forefront of their work. Of the care homes that I visit this is one of the best.
