Belle Vue has grown and developed for the better during the three years that my mother has been a resident there. Overall issues have been addressed and they are good at listening although between different staff tiers communication could be better. The activities team are creative with the small budget they are given and I would like this to be recognised and to be increased to enable all residents the stimulation and participation that they deserve. A better retention of staff will improve consistency of care and the residents welfare and less money using agency staff could be inputted into the care. More recognition of staffs hard work and commitment would go a long way and will help with retention. The care and quality is good. Thank you.
I have found everyone at Belle Vue very helpful, caring and polite. My wife feels at home there and I am more than happy with that. The home is very presentable and maintained to a very good standard.
Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased to hear our team to be helpful, caring, and polite. Providing a welcoming and well-maintained environment is very important to us, and its great to know this has made a positive difference for you both. Your feedback means a lot to our team.
My mother, who has severe dementia, has been at Belle Vue since March 2025. Unfortunately her previous residential home could no longer meet her needs so we were faced with the challenge of quickly finding somewhere more suitable. Tina and her colleagues were fantastic when we visited and we were reassured my mother would be safe and be given the right care. We live some distance away, but have total confidence that she is in good hands. We cannot visit often so are completely reliant on the staff and management who inform us of any issues. We aren't there often enough to comment on the activities. All staff are friendly and approachable and the home is well maintained and clean. An excellent care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We understand how difficult it can be when loved ones live at a distance, and were pleased that our teams communication helps you stay updated and confident in your mothers care. Your comments about the friendliness of our staff and...
Very caring and helpful staff, always looks and smells clean and tidy. Patients respond to cheerful, smiling help. Brother-in-law has settled and is very happy here. The nurses keep an attentive watchful eye on him. Thank you everyone at Belle Vue.
Brother is very happy and the nurses are very good in tending to all his needs. All the staff members make him feel at home and part of the family. Well done to everyone.
We can't thank them enough.
Thank you
Thank you for this review and recognising the relationship the staff have with your dad, he has been with us at Belle Vue for a long time. I will share your kind review with the team. Many thanks
My partner has been at Belle Vue since November 2023. During this time I have visited most weekdays staying several hours. The reason for stating this is that the observations I have made have been consistant throughout. There is always a bright and friendly welcome upon arrival to Belle Vue that continues to the upper floors; also the lovely interactions with residents, which is customary from all staff members. All staff are helpful, kind, caring and considerate to residents and visitors alike. The home is maintained beautifully and has a superb level of cleanliness. I could go on but the 5 stars demonstrate the rest. An added benefit that Belle Vue has created (which others and I find so special) is the relaxed ambiance, the community, family feel and the friendships that have formed from this. My partner appears settled and content. I would not want him anywhere else and thank everyone for providing that peace of mind
Thank you for your kind review about our service and recognition for the staff. I will share your kind words with the team. It is important to us to know we are making a difference for our residents, their family and close friends. Your acknowledgement of the home having a relaxed ambiance is very much appreciated.
Staff are friendly, helpful and caring, and respectful of the residents. High standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
Wellbeing staff regularly arrange activities and trips including singing/karaoke, quiz time, arts and crafts.
Overall am impressed and reassured that this is a caring environment for our loved ones.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. Were truly grateful you took the time to share your experience. Our team works hard to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all our residents, and its heartening to hear that this has brought you reassurance.Were...
I can't say enough in praise of Belle Vue Care Home. You often hear bad things on the news regarding care homes & not enough about really good ones. My mum has been a resident for over a year & every staff member, from the front door reception, to the carers, manager & cleaning staff are friendly & my mum even calls them friends. The care is exceptional & mum is so much more relaxed now she has no worries. It's always a pleasure to visit mum & I'm made to feel welcome & no longer worry about her as I know she is in good kind hands & I will be informed of anything staff are concernd with re: mum's health. Thank you to all staff at Belle Vue for really caring about your residents.

not an easy job on the Dementia level but things seem to run as smooth as possible,
We are so glad we chose Belle Vue for my husband as we feel he gets the right care.
The reception staff do a great job and I appreciate their patience.
All in all we have no worries.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your recognition of our staff's dedication and hard work, especially in providing care at the dementia level. It means a lot to us to know that you and your husband feel well-supported and...
My father was a resident here for nearly 5 years on the dementia floor. The staff here are exemplary. They cared for and 'loved' my Dad all through his time here in particular the nursing staff and his carer who also cared for him. Sadly he passed away on 30th October but right through to the end he was comfortable and well cared for. Again the staff were thoughtful and understanding to me and my family during the final days. The home is clean and the residents are happy and well fed. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, he was happy here.
Thank you for your kind words about Belle Vue Care Home! Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your father, he certainly was a very much loved member of our community. It's good to know that he was happy, well cared for and comfortable - our team work very hard to ensure that this...

Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it's great to read that you feel your Dad's wellbeing has improved. Your review will be very reassuring to new care seekers. With best wishes, Honor Keatley
Excellent care home. They took great care of my friend right up to the end. The staff are great, staff wonderful. A very well run home cannot fault it, very impressed with all the events they carry out for the clients. A place full of smiles and laughter. Always someone to talk to if you are struggling.
What a wonderful review. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts at what must be a difficult time for you. It's great for the team to read your review and to understand what a positive impact they had, not only for your friend but for you too. With best wishes
The staff treated her with nothing but kindness and dignity and are a credit to the organisation.
They were always pleasant and greeted me with a smile when I visited and I could see that they were often working under difficult circumstances, but still nothing was too much trouble for them.
Any questions I had were always answered with a kindness that put me at ease and I knew that my mother was in the right place, receiving the care and attention that she deserved.
Once again, I cannot thank them enough.
I am sorry to read that you have lost your mother. Thank you for taking the time to write a review at what must be a difficult time. It is good to read that your mother was clearly in the right place to be given the love, care and support she needed and that you too benefitted from that. With best wishes
Thankfully my loved one is no longer a resident at Belle Vue and is now resident in a nursing home providing kindness, care, compassion and dignity to all the residents.
I'm very sorry to read that your experience of Belle Vue is not what should be expected. I will discuss this with the team and management. With best wishes, Honor Keatley, Managing Director.
Once again, the staff excelled themselves, excellent Christmas Dinner and entertainment. The staff decorated the dining room, putting all the residents and their families around a large number of tables. A selection of non-alcoholic drinks was on offer, Farther Christmas gave out presents along with their family. The whole experience for the residents and their families was very festive.
Thanks so much for sharing this and for your fantastic rating.
With best wishes.
Our relative moved to Belle Vue Care Home earlier this year and at the time she was very distressed, having viewed the home we felt it looked like a happy caring place. Fast forward a few months and wow! She is bright and alert, during my visit she was acknowledged by every passing staff member and she waved to them. She was very calm and visibly improved in her health and well being. It was so reassuring to see. Each staff member told me how well she was doing and you could hear the care and understanding in their voices. From the minute you enter the building it really is a home away from home but with all of the facilities required when 24 hour care is needed.
This will be so helpful to others who are just starting to look at care homes for their loved one.
With best wishes,Honor Keatley
