Having a loved one fall foul of this terrible disease is heartbreaking and I can honestly say that without the staff I don't know how my mum could have coped! I would recommend Woodlands's over and over again

I find this care home a friendly and caring place for my wife to be. She receives good care and is happy here. The staff are all friendly and efficient at what they do. The food is of a good quality standard.

Staff always friendly and helpful. Keeping us very well informed of any problems or issues with mum. ( Dorothy ). Mum's been a resident for 6 years and has always been happy and well loved and looked after.

The staff at Belle Vue are always smiling, you can see the genuine care and kindness they all have. It was my Dads birthday and they made him feel special. They made him a cake, got him a present and each and every day each staff member is kind, understanding and supportive.

First my mother for 3 years in the 1990's, then my husband last year, now a good friend have all been at Oak Lodge. The outstanding quality here is care + nursing provided. The staff are always cheerful + make real friends with their charges. The rooms are not ideal, however one or two are larger. The food seems pleasant and varied. Mostly I greatly admire the infinite cheerfulness and patience of the carers.

My husband has been a resident here for almost 4 years. Most of the carers are good but some lack good communication skills with residents and basic skills e.g. bed making. Management and ownership have changed during his stay but hopefully this will now remain steady. Food is adequate but not always hot and sometimes battered fish and meat difficult to cut. In general medication and health care is well administered but sometimes slow to respond to changes.

The environment is incredibly warm and welcoming. Living far away, its comforting to know she is in safe hands. I highly recommend this care home for its exceptional standard of service and loving staff.

My brother comes into Maple Lodge for respite hes happy, settled, clean. All the staff lovely. Manager brilliant. My sister in law says he's happy content thats all I want. If the time comes where my brother has to have 24 hour care he will deffo go into Maple Lodge.

My husband comes into Maple Lodge for respite. He has been in now 4 times. I find home lovely caring staff. Manager lovely, caring person only too willing to help. Overall I cannot fault the home. My husband loves it. Always lovely clean, he is settled in the home. He has put on weight all my family has seen a big difference since he's been in Maple Lodge

My mother has been a resident of Fleetwood Heights for the last few months . Prior to this I cared for Mum in her own home. It is always hard to let someone else care for your loved one. However I must say that all the staff are genuinely caring and kind to Mum. This has helped her settle in to her new surroundings and given me confidence that her care needs are being met. She was admitted from hospital with a pressure sore on her heel which has now healed. This healing happened with consistent care from all the staff at the home who ably followed advice from nurses and Podiatrists.

Mum has been in Devonshire house for 3 months now, She is very happy here, and loves all the staff. The personal care is excellent and Mum's room is always spotlessly clean. We are always made to feel very welcome when we visit.

I worked here years ago and the standard is as good in thise day. When the room became it was a perfick chouse. My helped years was on a monontere.

My mum Thelma has been at Devonshire for 2 years and in that time there has been some changes but all for the good. My mum is very happy and this gives me the confidence in Devonshire. The carers, nurses, entertainment team, kitchen staff, maintenance have my utmost respect for the work they do. I know Devonshire has challenges ahead with staffing ect but I'm sure with their dedication all will be good

Brilliant care staff. Meals 1st class, and choice. Rooms tidy and compact. Reception staff very good. Nothing a problem for them. Excellent location. Thank you.

I have attended relative meetings and raised several issues which have never been implemented. I requested copy of meeting along with management responses, this has not been issued. Activities are virtually nonexistent. Access to the building is very hit and miss, especially on a weekend. I feel that relatives should have code for access as they would have to residents' property if living at home.
