Riversway has undergone development recently with the creation of a dedicated 17 bedroom suite with trained support staff to care for residents with dementia. The facility boasts a re-designed lounge and dining area.

Friendly, efficient, personable, informative, professional, caring, knowledgeable and effective. To have such confidence in the team looking after a loved one on your behalf is so reassuring. I couldn't fault them.

My mum was cared for at Riversway for the last two years of her life during which she had dementia, was blind and immobile. Throughout her stay the Riversway Team - from the manager to cleaners and everyone in between showed her nothing but kindness, care, consideration and respect. I will be forever

My dad was a resident for only two weeks due to his illness he passed at Riversway, and the care the team gave my dad was respectful, caring and dignified. As a family, we stayed long hours with him and the team treated us like family, they made us feel welcome, always kept up updated with what was
happening, and we didn't need to worry about a thing they took care of us as well. The kindness and dignity that was shown for my dad and our family when he passed was truly touching. On a personal note, I was always sceptical of care homes but Riversway has changed my perception of care homes
Thank you so much for your truly wonderful care, we will never forget it.

Mum stayed at Riversway Nursing Home for the last year of her life in her own words she always said the home met 90% of her needs. She was warm - well fed and looked after. Clean, her room was clean. The 10% not given, as it was not her own home.

My mother spent the last fifteen months of her life at Riversway Nursing Home and at all times was dealt with total humanity, efficiency and always with a cheerful greeting. Calling her by name, thereby allowing her to keep her identity. Her end of life care was exemplary, with all staff treating her
with such reverence and kindness which reassured us as a family we made the absolute right choice for our mother.

Mum came to Riversway when we as a family couldn't care for her at home. She was treated with respect and dignity. When I couldn't visit due to covid I had weekly facetime calls which the brilliant Activities Team had done. They also organised a lovely afternoon tea for her 80th birthday in May. I cannot
thank them enough for what they had done for my late mum.

My mother aged 99 lived in three care homes over a six year period, this is the only one I would recommend. The whole atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed for residents and visitors. Mum was happy there. I can't say on food and drink and activities as Mum's dementia limited that, but all looked good
and if you are looking for a nursing home for your relative do look at this one. They are all expensive but this one is very good.

Fantastic care given to my father throughout his two years there. Lovely nurses and activities staff. Well managed and any issues dealt with promptly. Sadly, my father passed away, the care in his last week was exemplary.

Whilst my mother-in-law stayed at Riversway Nursing Home the staff from management right down to nurses and carers were so very kind to her nothing was too much trouble for them. All the staff treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. As a relative, I was always kept informed as different situations
arose. She was very comfortable and left care for.

When we were told Mum needed a care home and was given Riversway, we hit the jackpot, big time. From the warm greetings from the reception/office staff who support you with any needs, you might have. The care from the nurses and carers is above and beyond, the care and dignity Mum has are outstanding,
and all her needs are met by the amazing, friendly staff. Mum's food is specially catered to her needs. Lovely, big, spacious, clean room. Support from a specialist mental health nurse for both Mum and her family. The activities team are very thoughtful and encouraging and assists Mum in making friendships within the home, along with great activities and outside entertainment. Faith is important to Mum, and this is supported as well. We thank the day that Mum was given Riversway because we know she is getting the best support at a time when we were unable to give her that support. As a family, we would definitely recommend Riversway.

Staff at Riversway Nursing Home are amazing. My family and I have had a very difficult year with my dad moving into the home and managing covid restrictions. When we can't visit it means a lot that the staff talk to my dad know what he likes and care for him. Staff have done everything they can to keep
us in touch in difficult times. The activities they do are always thoughtful. Really appreciate everything they do.

My mother-in-law went into the home at the end of January this year. My mother-in-law was in her last stages of dementia. The home was always very pleasant, polite and kept in touch with us (family). Every staff member was really helpful and as far as I was concerned looked after my mother-in-law really

My mother was a resident at Riversway for six years. Throughout that time, she received excellent care. The covid pandemic prevented visits, but this was made easier by regular reports. I always found the staff dedicated and proactive to resident needs and the fabric of the home well managed, clean
and presentable. Riversway seeks to provide excellent care, and I can only thank them for looking after my mother so well.

Very caring environment. The Manager was an absolute natural with my Mum and her warmth and caring/nurturing characteristics shone when meeting Mum for the first time. Mum's stay was only a short one in very difficult circumstances and staff adjusted to her quickly and were eager to find out ways to
best aid her to move to Riversway. I shall always be grateful that Mum was so well looked after in such difficult times.

I found all the staff to be happy, welcoming, approachable, and caring, straight from our initial visit, right through to the time that the staff provided care to my Dad. They were always available to listen and I was able to trust that they were providing the correct care for my Dad. The home was beautifully
furnished and homely and I am glad my Dad had the opportunity to come out of the hospital and experience your home before him sadly passing.
