My sister has been a resident at Beaufort Hall since September 2025. She is always treated with the utmost respect, kindness and compassion. The management and staff are highly skilled, professional and empathetic in caring for my sister as an individual and we have found them to be very open and willing to discuss her ongoing care needs.As an example Beaufort Hall have been very supportive in ensuring my sister's dietary needs are met.
We are delighted with her placement at Beaufort and we are so pleased that she is happy and settled in such a comfortable and professionally run home.

My stay at the care home has been very good, all the staff are very helpful and respectful . It's a lovely room, the food is very good and everyone has been very professional . I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone. Many thanks to all the people who work here .

All the staff at Beaufort were wonderful looking after my dad. They took care of him right up to the end of his life during his battle with cancer. I couldn't have asked for more and feel very grateful that he had such good care at the end. Thanks, Matt

It wasn't very clean, infact the room my husband was in was really depressing. The cover on and under the bed had holes in and his view from his bed was a brick wall. Not...

It wasn't very clean, infact the room my husband was in was really depressing. The cover on and under the bed had holes in and his view from his bed was a brick wall. Not what I expected end of life to be like. There was hardly any parking and lots of steps and a slope to go up to get in. I don't think the entrance was very safe for visitors., especially elderly ones. My husband managed to get ill there and had to ask for an ambulance. The manager and patients deserve better.

Thank you for your review which we've found helpful. If you had any concerns around the cleanliness of the room it would have been helpful if this was raised with me straightaway. Sometimes staff don't clean bedrooms if family members are present, as it is important to us that residents are able to spend quality time with their loved ones. Staff would have ensured that the room was clean later that day. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of being a care home along the seafront is limited parking. But staff will happily move their cars if they are restricting the ground floor access which has lift availability.When a resident becomes unwell the nurses will consult with medical staff over the phone and confidentially.I am sorry your overall experience wasn't as good as you'd hoped and that you hadn't raised any issues with me sooner so I could address them. It's important to us that we deliver a high standard of care and do our best to ensure resident's feel well cared for and safe.

The staff at Beaufort Hall Nursing and Residential Home gave my dying husband the most incredible care when he arrived 48 hours before he died. Nothing was too much for him or me as I visited. Every member of staff I met showed genuine care and concern for us.

Our son was placed in this home by social services. We were told it was temporary until a more suitable place could be found. He is well looked after but the other residents are all elderly and he is only 43. He is a shy, quiet man of average intelligence but withdrawn, anxious and nervous, also...

He is well looked after but the other residents are all elderly and he is only 43. He is a shy, quiet man of average intelligence but withdrawn, anxious and nervous, also has leg ulcers and spends most of his time in bed. He is very alone and has nothing in common with the elderly folk there. Is there anywhere for a gentle soul like him?

The staff are very helpful, compassionate and caring. The maintenance man is also very helpful, everyone is always up for a laugh. The activities person is also very good. The building does need to be updated inside and out. Would be good to have another shower for the amount of residents.

Most of the residents' rooms have individual facilities in keeping with being person-centred.
