My mother lived in the care home for nearly five years. Her room was of a good quality and was kept clean and generally tidy over the last few months the care home seems to have had a more settled staff who seem genuinely friendly and caring and did their best to keep my mother happy and comfortable. The quality of nursing care was also excellent. Out main issues were minor: TV being left on but facing away, TV tuned to pop music, newspaper left out of sight/reach. This may possibly be due to temporary/weekend staff rather than the regular carers? The general administration seems poor: the office is frequently unmanned and telephones unanswered. I am also concerned at the number of people who know the door entry code. (myself included). Practically this is useful but a security concern.

Alina has an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and qualified as an RGN in 2015. She started in a junior nurse role, before becoming lead nurse, deputy manager and now home manager. Prior to this, Alina also worked as a care assistant and senior care assistant, gaining essential skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of the home.
Alina adopts a safe and dignified approach to her delivery of care, ensuring the health, happiness and wellbeing of each resident. She leads by example, developing effective teams and a positive working environment, which is essential for both the team and the clients.
