My aunt has been here for around five years. The staff are like family to her and look after her with great care and understanding. During the last difficult year of lockdown, we felt reassured that she was in a safe and secure place.

If you want your loved one to receive exceptional care with staff that treat the resident as their own family this is the place to let them reside. My Mum was in this home for only 7 weeks, but the care she received was second to none. She was treated with respect, dignity, care and had some fun in the last few weeks of her life, particularly as she went in three days prior to lockdown due to the Coronavirus and we could not visit. They had several phone calls a day from our family, including video calls and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the residents always come first. On one of the walls, it says "The residents here do not live in your workplace, you work in their home". I think this sums them up beautifully. I call them the Fairview Court Family, as that is what they are to the people that live there. I will be eternally grateful for the time and attention they gave my Mum and us as a family at the end of her life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for the lovely review of our fantastic team at Fairview Court. The care we deliver to our residents is made possible because family members like you are fully supportive. Your visits (before lockdown) and phone calls always made our day and that of your loved ones.

We will miss you dearly and we will keep in touch with you as friends of Fairview Court.

My father moved in late January 2020. We found viewing and moving in very swift and very efficient. Even during the viewing all the staff we met treated us and made us feel welcome. We feel that due to the care and attention of the staff my father has settled in well. We feel confident that he is being looked after very well. We are looking forward to the improvements over the next 18 months as the decor and facilities are looking a bit tired and dated. We would highly recommend Fairview and the staff are a credit.

My mum moved in nearly 2 and a half years ago. I was very apprehensive as she had been moved several times previously, the staff nurses, in-fact all the staff treated Mum with the utmost respect, dignity and love that I couldn't imagine. She soon settled in, it's such a wonderful relief and feeling each time I leave knowing she is in a comfortable, caring and compassionate environment. I would definitely recommend this care home.

Everyone is so kind and friendly - including kitchen staff, laundry staff and carers. The atmosphere is spotless and smells fresh. All residents are treated with respect and care and visitors are always welcomed. Afternoons are sometimes long with little happening - perhaps some music could be played - not just the easy listening programme. All staff are extremely busy.

Without doubt the staff make this care home a wonderful place for my mum. The patience they show, after often a long 12 hour day, is incredible. My sister and I cannot thank them enough, this is from the manager to the care team to the cleaner, the laundry lady, the kitchen staff and the maintenance staff. All welcome us with a smile and all make time to talk and listen. Well done all of you!

My mother's stay at the Fairview Court nursing home was for the last week of her life. My mother was 89 and had broken her hip a month before her death. Mum was suffering from dementia and the fall had left her even more confused and in extreme pain. We were all very relieved when a place was found for her locally and we were overwhelmed by the warmth and caring nature of the welcome we all received at Fairview Court. They obviously view their residents highly and were compassionate to the highest level. I felt as though Mum and the rest of her family were amongst friends. The staff treated her with the dignity that we, her family, knew that she deserved. Her frailty was respected and when she died our grieving was met with hugs and genuine caring and comforting. Thank you all so very much.....nothing was too much trouble for you.

You made a very difficult time easier. We are forever in your debt.

We are pleased as a family with the care Mum gets. She always looks clean, tidy and seems happy. Fairview Court is also clean every time I visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. We can visit as often as we like and made to feel welcome.
