Overall Experience
I moved my great auntie here in August 2017 after issues from her previous care home. From the very beginning, the manager was very welcoming, listened to my long list of issues which occurred at her previous care home and worked with me to help prevent these issues. My great auntie had Huntington's disease which is a rare genetic disease. The staff undertook training to help them to care for her and even took home reading which showed how committed they were to help provide the best care. Every aspect of my great aunties care was discussed with me. I visited the care home every week and my children regularly visited too. The staff were always very welcoming and always had the time to listen to me.
I can't express how much I appreciated the care, kindness and support that was shown, not only for my great auntie but also for myself and my family too.

All the staff I have dealt with have been very kind but there were two nurses who went above and beyond.

Overall Experience

My wife had to go to Hendra Court for Respite on two occasions, the first time for six weeks and the second time for two weeks. It has a very friendly atmosphere, excellent management with a very caring staff who are always cheerful, helpful and very supportive even to me. They have superb communication when making enquiries about my wife. My wife even gained weight which she needed which shows Hendra Court supplies good quality food. Very pleased with the care my wife received. Magnificent Home.

Overall Experience

My Dad spent the last eight weeks of his life at Hendra Court Nursing Home, Par. During that time his complex needs were met admirably. He was treated with compassion and his dignity was respected. The nursing staff were wonderful and everyone was so welcoming when my sister and I visited, which we did frequently. We were more than happy with all the care given to Dad in very difficult circumstances, and appreciate all the staff for everything they did to make his last days as comfortable as possible.
