I cannot thank the wonderful care and nursing staff at St Martin's enough. The attention, care and compassion all the staff give to my Dad everyday is simply outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they genuinely care that my Dad is comfortable and happy. They even go above and beyond to make sure myself and my family when visiting are okay, so that we can spend quality time with Dad now that he is under palliative care. I will forever be thankful to all the staff here for all they have done for my Dad and my family.

My mother was a permanent resident at St. Martin's. When she sadly passed away there is early January, the staff and manager could not have been kinder. They had been so caring towards mum and all our family in her final days, and on the day she died, they really all went above and beyond. The staff laid out beautifully, even placing flowers in her hands. We were all so touched by their kindness, care and compassion, and we thank them all from the bottom of our hearts. We were sorry that mum didn't have long to enjoy this lovely care home and wonderful staff.

This care home is superb, like a home from home. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The manager is always accessible to deal with any concerns you may have. Everyone from Melissa at the front desk to the cleaners. Laundry workers, kitchen staff and of course all the lovely nurses who look after my beautiful mum as if she was there own. What a lovely home!

We have found St Martin's to be so good and helpful for Mum. It's very hard having mum away from us at home but the carers are GENUINELY caring its a bright atmosphere with staff being able to chat and joke with residents & visitors. Impeccably clean everywhere. I'm pleased that mum is in such a nice place.

Since my dad arrived at the home in August of last year, the entire staff have been fully supportive of Dad and my wider family. They just cannot do enough. All requests are supported, information is relayed promptly, and decisions are explained.
At a difficult time for all of us, we have been treated with thought and genuine care.

Thank you.

From the moment my nan was placed in St Martins's care, she was looked after extremely well and treated with dignity at all times, which completely put my mind at ease after being her main carer. I visited every day at different times, and she was always kept clean, staff were so friendly and would always offer refreshments and provide updates on how she had been. All paperwork was kept up to date, and everything was always explained well. St Martin's gives off a homely feel, the dining table beautifully laid out, with colour-coordinated decor. After several months in the hospital and at another place where she was extremely unsettled, I finally heard her say how lovely it was, which brought great comfort to us. During her final hours, the staff went above and beyond to support us, and more importantly, my nan was shown kindness, great care and the utmost dignity. Thank you all so very much.

Mum has been in St Martins since July this year. It took her a while to settle, but since her medication was sorted out, she is much happier. Her room is small but clean, and she has everything she needs. Her appetite has improved, and she enjoys the meals. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. There have been issues with shoes, slippers and teeth going missing, but overall, I am happy with the care she is receiving and that she is safe.

My close neighbour and friend has been a resident in St Martin's for 15 months. On my regular visits, he has always been well cared for. His bedroom and bed linen are always immaculate. Meal tables are beautifully set with menus and napkins. Staff are polite, kind and considerate. My friend is always treated with courtesy and kindness, meals are varied and well served with attention to the ability of the residents to cope.

I have been visiting my wife at St Martin's regularly for over a year, and I have been very impressed with the service they provide. My wife is always clean and well-dressed, and although she suffers from advanced dementia, she seems very happy. The carers work extremely hard, but they always treat the residents with dignity and respect. The rooms, although not large, are bright, airy and are cleaned regularly. The food and drink is excellent, and the residents enjoy regular activities. The management and staff work hard to ensure the residents are happy, cared for and safe. I am confident that my dear wife is being well looked after.

My husband has been in St Martin's House for over a year. I found the staff hard working and caring and treated my husband with a great deal of dignity, love and respect. I visit my husband after, and when I'm not there, I feel reassured that he is very well cared for! The meals provided are excellent! I can't thank the staff enough! I found also the staff are the same towards all the residents that are also cared for!
