With a team who are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents with fantastic care and meaningful activities and experiences, St Martin’s is a vibrant and thriving home with a wonderful reputation locally.

Providing residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care, the team also offers respite care breaks, which are ideal for family carers who would like to take a break of their own, knowing their loved one is in safe hands.

The gardens are a wonderful space to relax in the summer. The side and rear gardens are completely enclosed, with raised planters, wheelchair friendly pathways and seating areas. Many of the residents love gardening activities, growing their own produce for the chef to use in the kitchen.

Activities are a big part of life in the home. Themed days are hugely popular, especially celebrating different countries like France and Spain, with themed decorations, cuisine and activities.

The local community are embraced into life at St Martin’s. Residents love to sing to music from the Forget-me-Not choir, who regularly visit the home, along with weekly virtual performances.

The home has a hair salon, for the residents to enjoy regular visits from a mobile hairdresser. There is also a light and airy conservatory with a piano, for impromptu singalongs.

There are three welcoming lounges, where residents can relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time. Often family members enjoy taking part in activities, and some are entertainers themselves, so perform especially for the residents.

In the dining rooms the residents enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals prepared by the chef, from roast dinners with all the trimmings to fish and chip Fridays, and home baking each day for afternoon tea.

St Martin’s also has a large car park, with excellent transport links, close to the A30 and within walking distance of Cambourne train station and the town centre.

As a family, we love the level of care and attention that mum receives at St Martins. The staff are kind and attentive, and the layout of the building really suits her needs. We have experienced many care home environments during periods of respite, and St Martins has always been the best. Mum seems
very comfortable there and is now a permanent resident. A big shout out to the manager and his staff who are always very patient and kind to me and my family. Despite our endless questions! This care home comes highly recommended.

We have found St Martin's to be so good and helpful for Mum. It's very hard having mum away from us at home but the carers are GENUINELY caring its a bright atmosphere with staff being able to chat and joke with residents & visitors. Impeccably clean everywhere. I'm pleased that mum is in such a nice

My late father could not have received more caring or compassionate care during the last 12 weeks of his life.
His end of life was dealt with so professionally and my Mother took great comfort from the staff.

Since my dad arrived at the home in August of last year, the entire staff have been fully supportive of Dad and my wider family. They just cannot do enough. All requests are supported, information is relayed promptly, and decisions are explained.

From the moment my nan was placed in St Martins's care, she was looked after extremely well and treated with dignity at all times, which completely put my mind at ease after being her main carer. I visited every day at different times, and she was always kept clean, staff were so friendly and would
always offer refreshments and provide updates on how she had been. All paperwork was kept up to date, and everything was always explained well. St Martin's gives off a homely feel, the dining table beautifully laid out, with colour-coordinated decor. After several months in the hospital and at another place where she was extremely unsettled, I finally heard her say how lovely it was, which brought great comfort to us. During her final hours, the staff went above and beyond to support us, and more importantly, my nan was shown kindness, great care and the utmost dignity. Thank you all so very much.

Mum has been in St Martins since July this year. It took her a while to settle, but since her medication was sorted out, she is much happier. Her room is small but clean, and she has everything she needs. Her appetite has improved, and she enjoys the meals. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.
There have been issues with shoes, slippers and teeth going missing, but overall, I am happy with the care she is receiving and that she is safe.

The team at St Martin's has treated my mum with dignity and respect. The team are open, friendly and will discuss any concerns or worries you may have. It has been difficult to relinquish care as I was Mum's main carer but the team and myself are building a good relationship and I can see she is happy
and enjoys herself when activities take place. The food is excellent, the place is spotless and the manager is efficient and friendly. The carers are always kind and caring towards Mum and she says they are very good. What more do you need!

My close neighbour and friend has been a resident in St Martin's for 15 months. On my regular visits, he has always been well cared for. His bedroom and bed linen are always immaculate. Meal tables are beautifully set with menus and napkins. Staff are polite, kind and considerate. My friend is always

I have been visiting my wife at St Martin's regularly for over a year, and I have been very impressed with the service they provide. My wife is always clean and well-dressed, and although she suffers from advanced dementia, she seems very happy. The carers work extremely hard, but they always treat
the residents with dignity and respect. The rooms, although not large, are bright, airy and are cleaned regularly. The food and drink is excellent, and the residents enjoy regular activities. The management and staff work hard to ensure the residents are happy, cared for and safe. I am confident that my dear wife is being well looked after.

My husband has been in St Martin's House for over a year. I found the staff hard working and caring and treated my husband with a great deal of dignity, love and respect. I visit my husband after, and when I'm not there, I feel reassured that he is very well cared for! The meals provided are excellent!
I can't thank the staff enough! I found also the staff are the same towards all the residents that are also cared for!

The staff and management were so very helpful and couldn't do enough. Nothing was too much trouble, and all staff and management (even the cleaners) made a point of speaking to the residents when they passed. My mother is very comfortable and happy with staying there. Five stars for the St Martin's

I visit my friend once a week, and although saddened by her gradual fading away, I have been comforted by the kindness and concern with which she is being looked after. The staff are unfailingly kind, and the rooms are pleasant and were obliging about installing a bird feeder outside her window, so
she could watch the birds.
I have been saddened by the presence of one resident whose calls for attention involve a great deal of unsettling shouting and wriggling out of his chair onto the floor. I wonder if some kind of seat belt might not be arranged to prevent him from slipping out?

My mother was released to St Martin's from the hospital for full-time nursing care. She is 100 years old in April 2023 and had several falls at home, is particularly blind, very little mobility and can't hear (every with hearing aids). The team at St Martin's have been excellent and made her feel safe
and secure and so very kind from reception right down to carers, cleaners and kitchen. Food is excellent. I cannot praise them all enough, it is a real sanctuary.

Mum was a resident for about 2 years. The rooms are homely and personalised. The day rooms are bright and spacious and decorated to a high standard. The walls are adorned with themed artefacts and photos of residents. Having spent many hours at the home, I witnessed all the nurses, carers and domestic
staff treating all residents with genuine affection and respect at all times.
Mum enjoyed the entertainment especially the lively singing and dancing. It was so lovely to watch the residents come alive and have a great time.
Myself and my sisters were provided with endless refreshments and comfort from an amazing team of people who do an amazing job.
I have so much respect for those that are not paid a huge wage for doing such an important job.
My family are so very grateful for the excellent care that mum received and the genuine love and affection she was given. We can't thank you enough.
Particular thanks to the 4 staff members that attended her funeral. That meant so much to us.

The staff are friendly, caring people. My wife is very well looked after and kept clean and comfortable at all times. The food is very good and my wife has a good appetite. Her room is small but pleasant and looks out on a small garden. The staff check her at regular intervals and she responds well
to them.
