With a team who are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents with fantastic care and meaningful activities and experiences, St Martin’s is a vibrant and thriving home with a wonderful reputation locally.

Providing residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care, the team also offers respite care breaks, which are ideal for family carers who would like to take a break of their own, knowing their loved one is in safe hands.

The gardens are a wonderful space to relax in the summer. The side and rear gardens are completely enclosed, with raised planters, wheelchair friendly pathways and seating areas. Many of the residents love gardening activities, growing their own produce for the chef to use in the kitchen.

Activities are a big part of life in the home. Themed days are hugely popular, especially celebrating different countries like France and Spain, with themed decorations, cuisine and activities.

The local community are embraced into life at St Martin’s. Residents love to sing to music from the Forget-me-Not choir, who regularly visit the home, along with weekly virtual performances.

The home has a hair salon, for the residents to enjoy regular visits from a mobile hairdresser. There is also a light and airy conservatory with a piano, for impromptu singalongs.

There are three welcoming lounges, where residents can relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time. Often family members enjoy taking part in activities, and some are entertainers themselves, so perform especially for the residents.

In the dining rooms the residents enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals prepared by the chef, from roast dinners with all the trimmings to fish and chip Fridays, and home baking each day for afternoon tea.

St Martin’s also has a large car park, with excellent transport links, close to the A30 and within walking distance of Cambourne train station and the town centre.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

My father had a temporary bed only for two weeks plus. He does not have dementia but mobility issues. Staff all round in person and by telephone were tremendously friendly and proactive. It was not really ideal for my father and he moved on to another home.
However top praise for the permanent residents
care shown and entertainment, stimulation and compassion.

St Martin's House is a happy home all the carers are friendly and they work hard.
The place is clean and decorated to a high standard and they do lots of activities.

St Martin's is 'home from home'. The staff are very caring and try to make my dad comfortable. Nothing appears to be too much trouble!
The manager and deputy are very approachable and I feel reassured that my dad is looked after properly.
I can visit at any time and I'm always made very welcome.

My Mum is kept very clean. Caring staff make her happy (most of the time). Food is excellent. The home is kept very clean and it was nice to hear it's going to be redecorated. Staff always make us welcome when we visit.

My dad was very unsure when he moved to St Martin's but loves it now. The staff were really good to him and made him feel welcome and he enjoys the activity going on, he also enjoys the food.

St Martin's House is the best care home that I know of. The last three years, they have looked after my wife. My wife passed away on the 10th February 2018 and I cannot thank them enough, from top to bottom. They are great. God bless them.

My father-in-law has been at St Martin's since May 2017. The staff are very caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Father is always clean and tidy and extremely comfortable. All of the staff, from the cleaners to the nurses are amazing. We are very happy with the nursing home and would definitely
recommend it to people.

St Martin's staff are second to none. They show complete dedication to all residents and the one to one care is faultless. They are compassionate and understanding of residents needs. The food is excellent and served with care. I would recommend St Martin's without hesitation.
