Three Corners

I would highly recommend The Three Corners nursing home. My Mum stayed here for the last months of her life. She suffered with lewy body dementia. The carers, nurses, managers were all so loving and caring. They communicated well with me with all details of her care and changes in her mood and her mobility and capacity. There were fun activities, which Mum engaged with sometimes. I know other residents got a lot more out of these activities. The food was tasty and filling and varied. While Mum's room and ensuite was small, it was well furnished and always immaculately clean. The bed and chair in her room were comfortable. The dining room was airy. The staff all seemed happy in their work, which made the atmosphere in the home warm and positive. Mum's personal affairs and clothes were all looked after well. I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they did for Mum, especially the carer who sat with her at the end when I could not get there in time.

The family are happy knowing he is in a safe environment and well cared for and his medication is administered when required. He has regular meals sometimes with a little persuasion and he receives regular refreshments throughout the day. He is aware of activities taking place during each week but he is usually content watching tv in his room.

What truly sets this home apart is the staff. They are incredibly attentive, kind, and loving. Seeing my dad smile at them says it all-his reaction speaks volumes about the genuine care and affection he receives every single day. Knowing he is so happy and beautifully looked after gives our family total peace of mind. Thank you to the whole team!

I wanted to express on behalf of my wonderful mum, who sadly passed away whilst staying with you for palliative care after a series of life changing strokes, and my brothers Mike and Frank, that we were very grateful for the support and high quality care that you gave mum during the final months of her life. We were initially very concerned when she was taken into care from the hospital, but were immediately comforted once we arrived at Three Corners Nursing Home. You were all outstanding in the care provided her and we were touched by your genuine affection for mum. The home was clean, cosy and comfortable and mum was always dressed in her own laundered clean clothes. Thank you for looking after her from the bottom of our hearts. My experience at Three Corners care home, is one of staff giving qualitive care day and night. Ensuring medication are given to help manage pain and helping to ensure feeling comfortable. Good standard of care provided.

My father was cared for with kindness and respect. He was always given a shave and put in clean clothes every day. He was always happy and smiling, which was down to the hard work all the staff and activities done at the home. My dad enjoyed the food and drinks lots of variety. They also monitor the food and drink to know if they need to change it. In my dads case he had to go from solids to smooth due to his health issues. All staff are lovely and friendly.

My mum is a resident a Three Corners nursing home and has settled in so well. Staff are brilliant, so caring, friendly and professional. Always plenty of activities and days out for the residents. My mum says she is very happy here.

The activity staff cannot be faulted either as the variety of activities is brilliant. Cannot over estimate how this breaks up the day for someone living in a care home setting. The efforts they go to, to ensure room bound residents are also involved is very heart warming.

My wife is cared for very well. She feels she is loved by the carers and nurses. I give excellent for all the caterories except facilities. This is because of the number and length of time the lift is out of order.

My husband seems very happy. It's always very clean. I have no complaints.

My experience so far is good. I have no complaints, I would choose to stay here again. I have a good sized room.

The communication with the family was great and we always felt very welcome. Never felt like we were an annoyance and someone always answers the phone. So thank you Three Corners for the care shown to Dad and for the peace of mind you gave us the family knowing he was safe and looked after.

My husband needed respite care at fairly short notice. The management were most helpful and while he was there was cared for in a most considerate and helpful way. Nearly everyone had a smile on their face for visitors and residents which was lovely. Very good food.

Mum has lived at Three Corners for 4 years. We have always found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive with her complex needs. They all genuinely care for the residents, are very respectful, and Mum has a really good relationship with her carers. A lot of effort goes into providing activities for the residents, and the home is always decorated for Christmas, Easter, Halloween and other festivities which provides lovely visuals for the residents. The activity coordinator is super at encouraging participation. I have the confidence that Mum is being well looked after, cared for, and she is safe. Living quite a distance away it is reassuring to be able to phone and get updates as to how she is.

I was impressed with the amount of activities and the genuine desire to get all involved with something that would appeal. The food was 1st class and plentiful. I was kept updated on all aspects of my sister's care and I can honestly say I would recommend Three Corners if anyone asked me for an honest comment.

My mum has now been at Three Corners for a month and has settled in so well. It is clean, extremely friendly and efficiently led. Mum has struggled to come to terms with the effects of her stroke and I didn't think she would ever accept a permanent move to a home, but with the care of Three Corners she is really starting to enjoy her new life. Activities are great at keeping the residents busy and the staff are so helpful. I highly recommend Three Corners.
