My partner was accepted by "Blackdown" after a 2 week traumatic stay in hospital, and my initial shock at the distance, I had to travel was soon allayed by the warmth we received from everyone of the wonderful staff. Every visit for me was a pleasure, and my partner became the lovely calm man he used
to be. My biggest regret is that we have to leave. Thankyou all for your wonderful care and support. I cannot thankyou enough.

My father was cared for with kindness and respect. He was always given a shave and put in clean clothes every day. He was always happy and smiling, which was down to the hard work all the staff and activities done at the home. My dad enjoyed the food and drinks lots of variety. They also monitor the
food and drink to know if they need to change it. In my dads case he had to go from solids to smooth due to his health issues. All staff are lovely and friendly.

I came to visit my nan - Shirley. Her personal care was done with dignity, immaculately clean and dressed. Julie made us welcome, her and Holly very professional and make the residents feel special and truly loved. Lovely to see the memory books, special touches with decor (autumnal/Halloween), soft
furnishings. Drinks/snacks plentiful & offered regularly. Daily activities/entertainment to a very high standard. Extremely clean throughout communal areas & Nan's bedroom. Safety is second to non - very important with residents. Beautiful outside area/enclosed for security. Our minds are at ease knowing Nan is well looked after. Thank you all.

My mum is a resident a Three Corners nursing home and has settled in so well. Staff are brilliant, so caring, friendly and professional. Always plenty of activities and days out for the residents. My mum says she is very happy here.

All the staff at Blackdown have been amazing and given our Mum fantastic care. They are understanding, caring and engaging. The level of activities and entertainment have filled our Mums senior years with music and song that she loved.

I have found the care staff and management brilliant over the past 4 months.
My mum arrived for a rest and decided to stay permanent. The care is good and nothing is too much trouble. Just sometimes looks under staffed.

I can't fault the care that the staff at Blackdown gave my mum in her final month. They were thoughtful to all my mum's needs, and our needs. They kept us fully informed on everything, from her medication needs and changes, to her general comfort on a day today basis. The whole experience of visiting
my mum @ Blackdown was always very relaxing. I knew that Mum was being very well looked after and I would never have any hesitation in recommending this home to others.

Mum has been at Three Corners for nearly two years now and in that time we have been delighted to see her transform back into a happy person from the one struggling to live alone and cope with hospital admissions.

feel safe & secure, always with love and a sense of humour. They understand dementia and how to bring out the best in someone who initially felt confused, scared and not in control. Mum now engages well with everyone, staff and other residents.
The activity staff cannot be faulted either as the variety of activities is brilliant. Cannot over estimate how this breaks up the day for someone living in a care home setting. The efforts they go to, to ensure room bound residents are also involved is very heart warming.

My mother became a resident at Blackdown approx 1 month ago & her condition rapidly changed to end of life care. The staff kept us informed of our mothers care at every step of the way. Cannot fault the care mum received. All staff friendly & approachable. We mainly dealt with the manager & staff nurse
who was the deputy who were more that willing to deal with any issues we had as a family.
Would hiighly recommend this nursing home, beautiful setting & comfy rooms.

My mother has settled very well at Hill House after her reluctance to go into care, she is now very happy. The staff are very efficient and attentive to look after her needs. We always feel welcomed by staff and there is a family atmosphere to help us feel at home. We have no worries and are very grateful.

My father in law was staying with us, till the point he no longer could. My wife didn't want any outside help or support. It took alot for her to let someone help. Blackdown couldn't of been a better fit for us all. My father-in law was happy, comfortable and felt safe enough to be honest in how he

I was caring for my Dad at home after a year of caring for my mum/step dad through cancer, I did not want him to spend his last months anywhere other than home, it came to a point where for his health and my mental health I had no choice, Blackdown was found and I couldn't be more greatful. The staff
have saved me, made me feel welcome and supported in the darkest time of life. The care and attention they've provided my Dad is untouched. I will forever be greatful to them.
