I am immensely grateful for the outstanding care provided by the entire team at Silverways. Their unwavering dedication and genuine love for their residents make it a place where families can have peace of mind, knowing that, in our case, our beloved husband/father was in the best hands possible.

The staff here are so caring! During a very difficult time they were all both calm and truly respectful. The ambience and atmosphere was wonderful, the whole of everywhere was immaculately clean and we were always greeted with a smile. All needs were perfectly accommodated for and the food was exceptional! We were offered tea/coffee each time we went in which was every day and any questions we had were answered honesty and with compassion. We simply couldn't have wished for a better place. Laughter was met with laughter and tears were met with comfort and support. An absolutely amazing place which none of our family can fault in any way.

My mother has been in Silverways for about six weeks now. We have found the place to be very clean, accommodating of mother's needs etc. The staff are kind and considerate and always very friendly. Well done Silverways.

'Top class' is my mum's verdict. She has lived here for 14 months. She consistently tells me how good the staff are. She enjoys the food and lives the activities. I feel happy that she is here. She is loved and cared for. Mum was a nurse all her life and knows what good care is.

My brother was in respite care for three weeks in July whilst I went away on holiday. Silverways went out of their way to make him feel welcome and 'at home'. The care he received was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Silverways Care Home.

Staff are lovely and very caring, going over and above to keep Dad happy. Dad is always kept happy by the activities manager. Communication between working staff and family is excellent.

I cannot rate this nursing home more highly. My mother was so well looked after for the time she was a resident. The home is well managed, and the staff are friendly and attentive to all needs. It is incredibly clean, and there are always activities to keep people busy. My mother’s end-of-life care was excellent. A very caring team offered my mother a very positive experience and a peaceful end to her life.

Since my dad has arrived, the service has been brilliant.

My husband fractured his hip and underwent surgery for a partial hip replacement. He was discharged barely able to stand, and we decided, together, that he needed respite to enable him to return to his mobility before the fall; Silverways were able to do this, and he has made a very good recovery with all the TLC from all of the staff. His confidence has returned and he now feels he can return home with a care package in place. The nurses have explained that regular pain relief is enabling him to get around and complete some of the activities of his personal care. The manager is kind and considerate. I have no hesitation in recommending Silverways for the catering, laundry, cleaning, activities, health care, assistants, reception, nurses and matron. Well done, and thank you so much.

A lovely home from home for our mum now she can no longer live in her own home. Very capable nursing home.

We moved my elderly mother to Silverways after having some concerns over her previous home. We could not be happier with the care she receives. The manager and staff are always very friendly, supportive and extremely professional. We could not recommend the nursing home highly enough.

I live overseas, and knowing my mother is happy, safe and incredibly well cared for at Silverways is an absolute Godsend. I know she is in the capable, professional and gentle hands of the wonderful staff. These staff (in every department) have to be the best in the country; their love and care for my mother is something for which I can never thank them enough.

My mother has been at Silverways for five years. After being very reluctant to move from her home, she settled well because of the kindness of the staff. Relationships at Sliverways are excellent, which means the ethos and atmosphere are just what you would want. Activities provided are engaging and fun. Mum likes the food - especially the cake! I know she is safe there, and I completely trust them to keep her spirits high too. I am very thankful for the excellent care they give to her.

Mum arrived on 28/2/22 and so far, cannot speak highly enough of how she has been/is cared for. Upon arrival, all the staff popped into her room and introduced themselves; it was such a lovely welcome. Mum seems to have settled in very well and is happy in her new environment.
