Changing shifts - night to early morning - lack of attention to patients needs; drinks, turning, checking if comfortable.

Staff appear not to have time.

I attended the Veterans Day which was wonderful.
This was the first time I had seen most of the clients and staff.
The staff were incredible, so caring, getting down to those in wheelchairs, soft words and gentle touches, this also applied to the senior staff.

The love and care were exceptional.

Veteran's Day, what a wonderful day was had by all. I could not fault it in any way. The manager and staff created a most superb setting for this very special occasion. I have lived in this care home for four years, during which time I have experienced a number of events, which I have enjoyed.
Veteran Day yesterday was the icing on the cake.

Close to the town centre, shops and beach, beautiful garden, I cannot think of a better place to live.

The staff at Meyrick Rise are fantastic, my Grandma loves living in the home. She is always busy engaging in activities or on minibus trips. The very helpful home receptionist has signed me up to the Magic Moments app so I can send messages and videos to Grandma whilst I'm away on holiday which is brilliant.

We moved our 95 and a half-year-old relative into Meyrick Rise, having seen it only 2 days prior to the move.
Our relative was bedridden and was cared for over the 14 months until her peaceful death.

The standard of care, attention, cleanliness, food and general atmosphere can only be described as outstanding. Staff were friendly and respectful. We had no concerns for our relative.

This was the first time I had placed mum in respite as I needed a break after 2 years of caring for her 24/7. It was difficult to entrust her to somebody else but I need not have worried. I was astonished at the kindness and patience shown by the staff at all levels, from first contact through to departure. It was better than I could have hoped and made such a difference to my break knowing I need not worry about her as she was in such excellent hands. I cannot say thank you enough! I wholeheartedly commend and recommend Meyrick Rise.

My aunt who has lived at Meyrick Rise for a number of months now and has settled in well, the staff are so caring and will go out of their way to help her.
Food is delicious and I often stay with her for lunch, beautiful!

Activities keep her entertained well and nurses make sure she is well cared for medically. You can't fail with this home.

Our friend was a new resident but staff all seemed to know him and take time to make life easy for him.

Our first visit to the home, staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were offered drinks and the opportunity to stay and have lunch with our friend. We were told we could visit at any time.

Since the new manager has taken on her role, she does an excellent job. The residents are nicely dressed, the dining room is beautifully set up for the residnets and she is very caring towards each resident.

The staff are cleanly dressed in uniform and polite to family members and caring towards the residents.

My dad stayed at Meyrick Rise, unfortunately for a shorter time than we had hoped but during his stay, all the staff were excellent. So caring, professional kind and warm they all welcomed him got him involved in activities and settled him in. The care he received was second to none, from the chef through to management, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone here goes the extra mile for all their residents and visitors. I would not hesitate to recommend here to anyone. Thank you all for your care and kindness you gave my dad and family.

Much of my contact has been from Australia from where I organised my aunt's move to Mayrick following a debilitating stroke. My experience, assistance and guidance from your staff was second to none and I can only but applaud all aspects of Meyrick Rise.
