My mother initially came to Kingsman for two weeks respite, but in that time she was made to feel so welcome and cared for that she stayed, and two years later she is still there. She is healthier as her diet is balanced and she feels safe and secure. The staff are wonderful. They encourage her to
take part in all the varied activities on offer and are engaging and supportive. They also make me feel very welcome when I visit and are approachable and friendly.
Mum enjoys the weekly trips out to local places, takes part in the gardening club, attends the twice-daily activity sessions and interacts positively with the other residents. For her birthday, the staff organised a singer, baked her a lovely cake and gave her a planting ceremony in the garden for a rose I had given her. They are so kind.

Quality care, super staff and carers, great food, nothing is too much trouble to help Mum, great conversations with all staff.
The activities team are very interactive with residents, and having a good laugh and joke is very important for the residents to feel good! They are a great double act!

My great-aunt turned 100 years old. The care home organised a trip out in a London taxi to the coffee shop. The long looked outstanding. The staff organised a singer. The overall birthday celebrations were first class. Displays were made relating to my great-aunt. Also, the food was excellent and the
birthday cake.

My mother has been in the care home for a while and we have found the care and attention has been excellent in helping her. From the welcome as you enter the building in reception to the staff members that are friendly and assist people, everyone is professional and knowledgeable.

My mother has been at Kingsman for over a year and has thrived. The staff are so kind, cheerful and helpful, everything revolves around the chap in reception is endlessly patient and genuinely so kind. Mum loves her comfortable room, the building is light, bright and always spotlessly clean. We’re always
made to feel very welcome when we visit and can see that Mum is so well cared for. It is such a comfort to us to know that she is safe and well.
Mum especially loves the entertainment schedule, there have been some great singers and entertainers and trips out in the minibus every Thursday.

My experience with Kingsman has always been good, the staff are always helpful, my mum was very reluctant to come into a home, but has now adapted to being here, she loves the staff, entertainment, and trips and the staff actually try to find the time to talk to her, she has more fun than I do.

Mum has been a resident at Meyrick Rise for over 4 years. She is 95, bedbound, frail and has complex needs. The care she receives is excellent. All the staff provide professional loving care. Mum always feels safe and secure. We know she is well cared for. I think the home has improved significantly
since the current manager was appointed. She leads by example and takes a keen interest in all aspects of the home. This cannot be easy with all the challenges that care homes currently face. Thank you!

After looking after my husband for 10 years it took its toll on me and I could cope no more. My son and I looked at several homes but Meyrick Rise was head and shoulders above the rest - we could not fault at all - we both agreed it had to be done. Meyrick Rise or nothing! Thank goodness my husband
was offered a room.
