Eagles Mount Care Home

I recall writing a review around this time last year and everything remains just as positive! My 86 year-old Mum has settled happily into residential life at Eagles Mount, Poole since June 2024. This location enjoys lovely panoramic views of Poole Harbour. The company has gone through a recent re-branding, and this has been seamless, where the staff and management continue to be communicative and available. We regularly visit my Mum and enjoy taking her down to the wonderful in-house cafe Colin's Nest, which is open to the public or into the lovely adjacent garden area. I often take her out of the environment, which is encouraged, and that could be a walk around the peaceful Poole Park, down to Poole Quay or along the wonderful promenades at our beautiful beaches. Eagles Mount caters for the life journey of residents, with different levels of care. Within the portfolio of the group, Kanesbury has other homes to accommodate conditional changes should the need arise.

No one is going to pretend that living in a care home with dementia is anyone's dream destination but I can see that, for my mum, Eagles Mount has been a blessing.

Eagles has been the perfect home for dad, just what we needed. The whole process from first enquiry to booking dad in has been smooth. The team there have also helped me through a hard time recently. Thank you everyone at the home!

I am always apprehensive and unsettled about visiting my mum , concerned on how she will be when I visit , she has been in Eagles Mount for 6 years , but today on Mothering Sunday , Gary met me , took me to my mother , settled me in and because of that I had a very positive happy visit , mum was being cheeky and so happy , I cannot tell you the difference it made having Gary know I was nervous and helped me with the visit

Mum is living her best life now she is resident at Eagles Mount, the care is excellent and she takes part in nearly all the activities. A special mention to the Activities Team there, who are fabulous. The residents and staff are very welcoming and love it when we visit with our 2 dogs.

Eagles Mount Care Home offers high-quality care, tailored to meet the individual needs of their residents. My family and I have been very impressed with the overall care and attention provided at this home. What makes this place special is the environment of family and familiarity. Those who work there are caring and responsive and helped our family during a difficult time.

A lovely care home looking after my mum. Very happy with the positive + happy dedicated staff. All lovely in particular, Naomi, Jacqui, Becks, Sally + Jess, who makes the best toasted sandwiches! My mum is happy = I am hapy!

Mum is very happy at Eagles Mount Care Home. She is loving the food and activities. Staff have been amazing too.

I have just moved into Eagles Mount and it is really good I am very surprised. The staff are great and the food is great too.

Living at Eagles has been a great home for me. I enjoy the activities, the trips out are lovely. The food is nice and I can request what I like. The carers are friendly. I am very fond of my room and the beautiful view of the surroundings.

Since I moved in I have nothing but good things to say about this home. The carers treat me really well. I enjoy the trips and days out. My room has a lovely view.

I was warmly greeted by the Home Manager, who welcomed me to the home and asked me to sign in. The home was clean and smelt fresh and I was shown to the room and offered a cup of tea. Everyone I met was caring and really attentive to my friend whom I was visiting. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking to care of a loved one. 10/10

Eagle Mount is a very good care home. The coffee shop looks very good I like to go there. I like to go places on the bus and the carers treat me well. My carer is good, kind and treats me well. I have no complaints.

Having visited my friend a number of time, the staff at Eagles Mount are all very friendly and always willing to help and support when I need it. There is a lovely coffee shop in the home that we use when we want to a bit to eat and lots of activities that we can join in with.

Couldn't recommend Eagles Mount Care Home highly enough. Mum was really worried and anxious about moving in and the whole team made her feel special and welcome. We were worried about leaving mum, but she was so happy we worried needlessly, we would like to thank the Manager and the whole team for everything they have done.

I felt the memory hour was really beneficial to residents. It was well presented using photographs of days gone by and discussing how we lived at that time of our childhood. It engaged everyone present. Lovely home.

I love living at Eagles, everyone is lovely and looks after me well.
