Very happy with the care my grandad is receiving, the home is great with a family atmosphere. I usually have lunch with him and they always welcome me and food is good. I recommend to anyone looking for care.

Living at Eagles has been a great home for me. I enjoy the activities, the trips out are lovely. The food is nice and I can request what I like. The carers are friendly. I am very fond of my room and the beautiful view of the surroundings.

I was warmly greeted by the Home Manager, who welcomed me to the home and asked me to sign in. The home was clean and smelt fresh and I was shown to the room and offered a cup of tea. Everyone I met was caring and really attentive to my friend whom I was visiting. I would highly recommend this home
to anyone who is looking to care of a loved one. 10/10

Eagle Mount is a very good care home. The coffee shop looks very good I like to go there. I like to go places on the bus and the carers treat me well. My carer is good, kind and treats me well. I have no complaints.

Having visited my friend a number of time, the staff at Eagles Mount are all very friendly and always willing to help and support when I need it. There is a lovely coffee shop in the home that we use when we want to a bit to eat and lots of activities that we can join in with.

Couldn't recommend Eagles Mount Care Home highly enough. Mum was really worried and anxious about moving in and the whole team made her feel special and welcome. We were worried about leaving mum, but she was so happy we worried needlessly, we would like to thank the Manager and the whole team for everything
they have done.

Eagles is a good home.
I like my room and everyone in the home.
The activities are good, in fact, they are great.
I like the driver, when we go out to different places.
My room is good, and I have Internet and Disney on my TV.
Also, I like the food.

Eagles Mount care home provided excellent facilities for all residents. The staff are most polite and helpful at all times. The rooms are spacious and well-presented with quality fittings and decoration.
The food, breakfast, lunch and supper are also good with many varieties of meat, fish, chips and
vegetables etc. The in-house chef will also serve any of your requirements. Prescriptions are dealt with excellently by the floor supervisors. In general, this care home meets all of the professional service requirements.

Pre-booked a visit for today (26/3/22), upon our arrival we were greeted by a very harassed unkempt member of staff (extremely poor representative of what I understand to be a luxury care home). She advised we could not visit because of a Covid outbreak. No phone call had been made to us beforehand
and having had a 1.5 hour journey this was extremely upsetting., particularly as the resident was expecting us and looking forward to our visit. Having read the guidance in full dated 22/3/22, I am not convinced that they were correct in their actions. We were not offered any option, e.g. a pod visit, window visit, etc. which the guidance suggests could have taken place. I appreciate the difficulties that they have in dealing with Covid but the resident we were there to see is bed bound and therefore not mixing with other residents - we were Covid negative so there was no genuine reason to refuse the visit!

We are sorry to hear of your difficulties when visiting Eagle's Mount. We completely understand how frustrated you were when you couldn't see your friend. I confirm that an investigation into this matter took place. Unfortunately, when you booked the visit, you didn't share your contact details with the home, and for that reason, we couldn't contact you to inform you that the house was closed as we did with other family members. This doesn't sound like the visitor experience we try to provide to our visitors. We are also sorry you felt that the manager wasn't at the expected standards; COVID takes much strength from the team, and having an outbreak makes things more complex. Nevertheless, we are very grateful for the feedback. We also investigated why you were not allowed to visit, and I'm happy to confirm that the home followed all the rules that are in place by the government. I believe the home manager contacted you and explained. Our apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Since Nanny was admitted to Eagles Mount in February 2021, it's been really hard not being able to see her face to face. However, pod visits have been great. Finally, the lockdown has lifted a little, and we have been able to see Nanny in-person taking all necessary precautions. We have been made to
feel extremely welcome and had an extremely enjoyable visit. The best part of the visit was seeing Nanny give her great-grandson his birthday present from her, and we have some lovely photo's of them together.
