Nice, warm living room with comfy chairs and TV, trips out and activities. The carers are lovely and have a lot on their hands. Looking forward to the extension being finished. Although my gran can be unfriendly, the carers and residents are so kind to her. It will be nice to have the visiting area open again when the building work is done and to be able to use the garden again in the summer.

I am residing at Kingsley House Nursing Home for the last 18 months and I believe it to be of an excellent standard of caring for the residents.

There is a very high standard of service and care. The washing and ironing is kept to an excellent standard. The room service to the room is excellent. They celebrated their 25th Anniversary this Saturday 16th July 2022. We are very near the shops.

Kingsley House Nursing Home, Tetbury have been kind, caring and attentive to my husband over the past 2 years and made us feel very secure knowing the best is given to his needs from the nursing staff, carers and manager, who are all fantastic. I would say it's got to be given a very high recommendation for all the wonderful care given.

My sister has been a resident of Kingsley House for nearly 1 year. She moved in the middle of a lockdown and despite the necessary isolation was made very welcome.
This level of care and personal attention has remained and she now regards the staff/home as her second family.

It has been a difficult year for all of us but especially for care homes. Kingsley House has maintained a safe and high level of care for my sister and we as a family cannot thank them enough.

My husband has been in Kingsley House for the past four months. I have been very impressed with the level of care shown by the staff and the contented atmosphere in the home. I particularly value the visiting policy, which I feel helps keep my husband in touch with his many friends locally. I am also glad that there is lots going on for the residents to do - especially at this time of year. I am kept in touch if there are any problems and would like to thank the staff for their care in these difficult times which must be stressful for them all.

My husband has settled into Kingsley House very well due to all the lovely, caring staff. He is able to participate in and enjoy the various activities on offer and relates well to some of his fellow residents. He certainly seems to be enjoying the food as his waist has expanded! Like all care homes, there are undeniable challenges in finding and keeping staff but I am confident that new staff members will soon settle in and enhance the jolly family atmosphere that pervades Kingsley House. I consider that both my husband and I are incredibly lucky to have such a home with such a manager in the centre of Tetbury and we are grateful for their care and compassion.

I have been very impressed by the standard of care provided by the home. All of the staff have been unfailingly polite and attentive. My mother settled in quickly and that was in large measure due to the efforts of the staff.

I am very impressed with Kingsley House. My husband transferred from another care home and was made so welcome by all of the staff. I find the level of care amazing. The home is run quietly but efficiently. The staff go about their work happily smiling and singing. The management is top class, very caring and highly efficient.

When I arrived at Kingsley House Care Home I was given a very warm welcome by most of the staff, the manager, the staff and our cook. The manager does my shopping for me and we hope to go to the local swimming pool soon. I am in a very good bedroom with lots of space. I will be 80 years old in 2022, my legs are helped with a stick outside and a frame inside. They should move well in the pool. I, like many others, would like to go out to church.

My wife appears to be being well looked after in the home. The home has an excellent manager and she deserves her recognition. It's been hard during covid times but sorting out visits to the pod and other issues has always been easy.

The wonderful staff at Kingsley House have looked after Mum for the last six years, it’s like one big happy family. I was kept informed if a problem arose which was great I could relax knowing she was safe. It’s spotlessly clean, excellent food and I can even recommend the homemade cakes which if you timed your visiting right was always on offer. It is difficult to find enough superlatives to do this home justice, but it certainly gets the thumbs up from me.

I can not fault this care home. Grandad has been so well looked after in the times we were unable to see him, and we have been so fortunate that he is in Kingsley House. Their residents are lucky to have Kingsley House. We are so grateful for their care. We are grateful for how safe they have kept their residents. Thank you for everything and looking after our grandad.

From the moment I went to look around Kingsley House, I could tell that it is a warm and welcoming environment. My mother needs nursing care 24 hours a day and her needs are constantly changing. The staff are very attentive and astute with their care. The rooms are a good size and it really helps that you can bring objects, furniture and photos from home. The home is very secure and safe. There are regular activities and entertainment for the residents.

My mum passed away on 25th March 2019 having spent the last 3 years at Kingsley House. The care and management of mum as a resident was exemplary. With a diagnosis of mixed dementia, Mum was vulnerable and very anxious following a traumatic hospital stay. The staff made her feel safe, maintaining her dignity and providing the care she needed, this was evident by the way she progressed in a very short time. Living 35 miles away I was kept informed of any changes to Mum’s medical needs and was able to respond quickly. We felt part of the family of Kingsley House, always a smile on arriving from the staff and the nursing staff and manager available for a chat. The end of life care was so lovely giving us the chance to be with mum at all times, supported and cared for. Mums advance care planning was implemented and she had a very peaceful and pain-free end. This was not Mum’s care home, it was her home with staff who loved and cared for both mum and her family.
