I found the standard of care extremely good. Staff were always available to support residents and family alike. Their end of life care was very sensitive, and family were always informed and updated. As a retired nurse and care trainer, I found the standards extremely high.

My father-in-law had to go to a nursing home and Arthurs Court was amazing. Not just with my father-in-law but with the whole family. We were always informed about him and the staff and nurses are amazing, friendly and so polite and made us feel so welcome.

Arthurs Court is a wonderful home from home experience for my mother. She is clean, comfortable and very well looked after. After being diagnosed with Dementia, and her health deteriorated, we thought her life was over, but she is much better and gets the love and attention she deserves from all the staff.

My father is a resident at Arthur's Court and I would recommend this home to anyone in need of a home from home for their relative.
They are so caring to my father and ensure his needs are met.
They keep us informed at all times and are considerate to us as a family when times are tough.
If we have a concern they are helpful.

I cannot praise them enough.

The care here is excellent. I always appreciated how our families' questions and concerns were dealt with and answered as though my Mother's was the only case they were dealing with. When they must have had the same questions and concerns raised over and over again. The nursing staff ware excellent and caring and all the staff maintain such a buoyant atmosphere. My mother really didn't want to die in hospital and my sister and I were able to be by her bedside with her in the early hours as she passed. Thank you so much.

Mother moved in, in November and settled immediately. She made the decision to move herself and this eased the transition. She is treated with care and respect. She receives 3 meals a day (and excellent homemade cakes for afternoon snack). She loves the room and the staff team. She is occupied with activities she enjoys. She is encouraged to join in as are the family when they visit. It is a home from home. Everyone is happy.

My Aunt came into Arthurs Court Nursing Home coming from hospital until she passed away. She really liked to join in with all the activities in the home and enjoyed going out down town with the Activities lady. I feel the Home is good value for money and all the staff are happy to help and is never any problems.

She always used to say how lovely the food tasted and there was always a good variety of whatever you wanted and the laundry was always done by the next day, we were all 100% happy with the care home.

My father was admitted to Arthurs Court from hospital in September. We have been very impressed with the home from the very first day. The management and staff are all compassionate and empathetic towards the needs of the residents. The rooms are all fit for purpose, clean and tidy. There are plenty of activities for those who wish to participate and the food appears to be very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending Arthurs Court.

My father was only there for a short period (2 weeks) until he sadly passed away, but all the staff were amazing. The care, love, respect and attention given to him in his final week was second to none, and the compassion shown to myself and my sister since his death has been a great comfort. Would recommend Arthurs Court to anyone.

Arthurs Court is an excellent care home. The staff are extremely caring and very approachable if you need to talk to them. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother is very well looked after, her needs are always met and dealt with in a very caring manner. The care home itself is very welcoming. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Overall, I am confident in saying that my mother is happy and well looked after. I would highly recommend Arthurs Court for elderly care.

My wife is very well cared for; I visit her daily to ensure that she is comfortable. She always is so. My wife's food is pureed and fed to her; I haven't tasted it, but it is probably very good. I had Christmas dinner and dinner on January 1st 2019 and the food was excellent.

At Arthur's Court all the staff - both medical and caring - have been superb in caring for my wife. The atmosphere was friendly and very home like. The food was very good and it is clear that the whole operation is very resident centred to make their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This concern extended to myself as a relative and I have been welcomed at all times along with my little dog Annie. I would heartily recommend Arthur's Court to anyone wanting a happy, safe and caring environment for their loved one.
