We have a fantastic team here at The Glen and for us, it's ensuring our residents are happy and cared for with the utmost respect and dignity they deserve. I use my knowledge of the local area to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and am always keen to involve the local community in life at The Glen.
There’s no better feeling than making a difference to a resident's life.
I am a dedicated and talented registered nurse with suitable qualifications, skills and a plethora of experience to be deputy manager for The Glen Care Home. During the 16 years at The Glen, with the last years as Head of Care, I have acquired far-reaching knowledge of care standards and health & safety legislation and have gained extensive experience in working with vulnerable adults and people with special needs including mental and physical disabilities.
I can effectively lead, train, supervise and motivate a team to deliver the utmost care and professionalism to all our residents and their families consistently. High standards of care are achieved through placement assessments and risk assessments for residents, formulating individual care plans and ensuring that these are met by the team.
