They treated my Nan with dignity, respect and made continuous effort with her until her passing.
Knowing Nan was in a place where the care staff clearly care about their residents and their families was a great comfort to us and we will always be grateful.
I would highly recommend Ashley Grange. Thank-you for making my Nans last few weeks comfortable and dignified.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your grandmother. It is heartwarming to know that your nans time at Ashley Grange was a positive experience and the team were caring, respectful and treated your nan with dignity and as a family this bought comfort to you. We will pass on your kind words to the team at Ashley Grange.
My wife was with you for 1 year, during that time she was well loved by all the staff. The manager - assistant manager every one of the nursing staff every one of the carers were so loving and caring. In the one year my wife was with you she was always made to feel it was her home and she felt loved by all the staff. I would recommend Ashley Grange to anyone and I thank you for everything. I forgot to mention the lovely reception staff and the kitchen staff who make such lovely food.
I would just like to express my thoughts on the care my mother received at Ashley Grange, during her recent respite care whilst my father was in hospital. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and all the staff that l had contact with over my mum's seven-week stay were lovely. They were all very professional, caring and attentive. The most important thing was that Mum who has Dementia seemed happy and stimulated thanks to the regular activities provided by the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of visiting Mum and talking to her newfound friends who also seemed very happy at Ashley Grange.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is wonderful to hear how happy your mother was during her stay at Ashley Grange and how she enjoyed joining in all the great activities on offer. It is also lovely to know that your mother made friends during her stay and that you also enjoyed...
Mum is very happy here and is well cared for. The staff are kind and keep family informed of any needs.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is great to hear how happy your mum is at Ashley Grange and as a family, you are kept well informed of how your mother is by the team. We will pass on these kind words to the team at Ashley Grange.
We can visit at any time and always get a friendly welcome. There are trips out and activities which at present Mum is reluctant to engage in. Mum is supported to remain as independent as possible but help is always at hand if she needs it. Management is always happy to listen to any concerns we have and act on these if appropriate.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Across Hartford Care, we have an open-door policy and visiting is welcomed any time. It's great to hear that your mum is being supported to remain independent and hopefully in time and with encouragement she will enjoy engaging in the activities...
I have found the staff to be really good.
They are kind and caring, nothing is too much for them!
They all obviously care greatly for the patients!
Thank you for your kind words. We are very pleased to hear how happy you are with the care and support your uncle is receiving at Ashley Grange and how kind and caring the team are. We will pass on these kind words to the tea. Thank you for taking the time to write this review.
Last week, a talented singer from a particular band, backed by good equipment sang to the audience. He sang to all and to individuals, which caused a smile. Some of the care staff managed to get members of the audience up and dancing, or just moving together to the music. I congratulate the staff for their gentle efforts to make the occasion a happy, funny and enjoyable one.
I read that there are now experts in the medical world investigating the power of music over patients, especially with dementia and Alzheimer's.
It looks as if Hartford Care and the staff at Ashley Grange are on the front line. Well done.
Thank you for leaving a review and sharing your experience with your brother and son and their joint love of music. Music is such a powerful tool which can trigger feel-good endorphins, and at Ashley Grange, we absolutely love music - and the opportunity to dance! We have a variety of regular...
We had a dreadful experience at her previous care home with dementia patients isolated on a floor with no access to the gardens or communal ground floor areas unless they could "remember" the lift code. On many occasions I found Mum in her room, by herself and very upset. Important to say that the manager and her team also picked me up when I was so worried about Mum and the future but after transfer to AG Mum was soon settled and happy to join in the many activities on offer. What sets Ashley Grange apart is that they actually do care about your loved one and that is the most important thing of all.
Thank you for taking the time to write these kind words. We are sorry to hear of your past experiences but very happy to hear how your mum is settled and happy at Ashley Grange and that she feels safe and cared for. These lovely words will be passed on to the team at Ashley Grange who no doubt will...
Each time we come to visit we have found the staff welcoming and professional. There are regular activities organised for the residents which friends and relatives are invited to join.
The home is spotlessly clean and rooms freshly decorated.
It is reassuring to know they are so well cared for and we are greeted with smiles when we arrive.
It is lovely to hear how well your loved ones are doing at Ashley Grange. Thank you for taking the time to write this review and letting us know how welcome and supported you feel when visiting and that you can rest assured that your aunt and father-in-law are safe and well cared for. Ashley Grange...
My mum, who has advanced dementia, has been at Ashley Grange now for about two months and seems very settled there. The manager and her team have been so helpful and kind helping Mum to settle in and nothing is too much bother for them. The home is light and airy and it has a very happy atmosphere with plenty of activities going on for the residents. Dad has since moved from another care home to join Mum and it is so lovely to see them both together again, it warms the heart. I said thank you for looking after Mum to one of the carers when I visited and she gave me a big hug demonstrating how caring they are. It's a lovely, friendly home. Very many thanks to you all.
Thank you for these kind words and for taking the time to write this review. It is so nice to hear that your mum and dad are both together, happy and settled enjoying life at Ashley Grange and that you are assured that they are being well cared for and supported. We will pass on these lovely words to all the staff at Ashley Grange.
Outstanding. In the past three years I have engaged with private home carers, an at home care agency, a care home for one parent and Ashley Grange for the other parent. Ashley Grange has been, and is, a light at a time when our family is thoroughly dejected and very stressed. To be able to sleep at night not worrying about a dearly loved parent because you know Ashley Grange will take care of them, will deal with the callout, the doctor, the sickness, the confusion, is such an incredible relief. I still wake most nights but now I don't immediately reach for the phone to see what problems have landed with me because a carer can't cope. I wish both parents had been with Ashley Grange from the start. The manager in Downton is an incredibly kind human being who sees all the residents as people and inculcates a very caring atmosphere with her staff and residents. My beloved parent is a changed person since they arrived, they have fun, conversation and a sense of purpose and they are safe.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It's great to hear how your loved one has thrived since being at Ashley Grange. It is especially good to hear that you and your family now have the peace of mind that your loved one is safe and cared for and what was a very stressful time for...
My father was only at Ashley Grange for a month, but as soon as he got there, he was cleaned and very comfortable. The staff were amazing, from the ladies on the desk to the people who fed, cleaned and just talked to him. The managers in the office were really good when he passed away. So thanks to all of them.
We are very pleased to hear how happy you are with the care your father recieved at Ashley Grange. Thank you for taking the time to write this review, which we will pass on to all the staff at Ashley Grange, who will be very happy to hear that their hard work is appreciated.
Theresa and her team at Ashley Grange looked after my father for the last six months of his life. They were always caring and respectful and made him feel at home. We couldn't have wished for him to be in a better place with staff who genuinely cared for him as the person he was. The best care home I've been to - well run, compassionate, very high standards, well staffed with professional carers. Thank you all so much!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write these lovely words. It's so nice to hear that your father was looked after and cared for so well at Ashley Grange. We will pass this on to all the staff at Ashley Grange, who will, no doubt, appreciate that their hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
I have nothing but praise for the staff at Ashley Grange Nursing Home. I moved my mum in there in September and she has been looked after so amazingly well. It's always a hard decision to move someone you love into care but I am so happy that she is safe and so well cared for. I have nothing but admiration for you all.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. We are thrilled that you are happy with the level of care your mother is receiving. We shall pass on your comments to the whole team who will be delighted. Thanks again, best wishes.
From that point forward, the care and compassion shown to my father and his visiting family (my mother attends every day) have been outstanding.
The entire team are professional, personable and highly capable.
I could not have hoped for a better level of care for my father.
Thank you so much for your lovely words about the care your father receives at Ashley Grange. We are so pleased you are happy with the level of care he is receiving and the team will be delighted to receive this feedback. We want everyone to feel at home at Ashley Grange, including our residents' friends and family - we will look forward to seeing you again soon.
Very impressed, have already passed on Ashley Grange now and then. Would recommend it to anyone, it's like a five-star hotel.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. We will pass this on to the manager and staff at Ashley Grange.
I was also impressed by the whole team’s professionalism and attention to detail. The home is spotless and the choice and presentation of the meals and snacks was fantastic.
It was so reassuring to us as a family, that Dad was in the hands of such a kind and capable team, the managers and all members of staff that we met were just fantastic. Thank you all!
Thank you so much for your extremely kind words. Its great to hear that your dad enjoyed his time at Ashley Grange and that you were able to be at ease knowing he was in in the capable hands of our care staff. We will pass on these kind words to all the staff at Ashley Grange, I am sure they will be very pleased to hear this.
