I've been made very welcome from the beginning.
I've made one or two friends here.
I've enjoyed the food, it's good to have the activity sheets so I can see what's on, especially the exercises.

I also enjoy looking out into the garden from my room and the lounge and dining room.

The Westbury Care Home has given me the best care of any hospital/home I have been in and I am very grateful to all staff I have been in contact with, day and night. Thanks everyone. I know that my family/visitors feel the same way.

My Father was taken poorly at the end of September and admitted to Salisbury Hospital. He had 2 small strokes. After some time in hospital, he was sent to the Westbury for rehabilitation.

I could not have wished for a better place for my Dad to spend the last few weeks before going home. He has been looked after so well and made to feel so at home.
He is looking forward to going home tomorrow but will be sad to leave everyone behind.

The Westbury and ALL THE STAFF are really special. Thank you so much for all you have done for my Father.

My mother was very poorly when she entered the care home and with the excellent care of the staff, she recovered very quickly when we visit. It's really lovely to see her so happy and eating really well. The staff keep us well informed about any changes.

The activities are also very good. The staff who run this are so good.

My mother is very happy at The Westbury Care Home. The staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble. My mother's room is large so she has been able to bring some of her furniture and paintings which make her feel at home.

My experience is limited to less than 2 weeks only but this has been excellent. I am here to be made fit and go home and live on my own. There is no family to help but I am 96 and able mentally.

Once an internal upset is settled, I am relying on physiotherapy to strengthen me. The carers have been exceptionally kind and the encouragement of activities has helped considerably at this very difficult time of doubt.

Thank you for your review. I'm sure that you will get your strength back in no time and I'm so glad that you are enjoying the activities. I hope that once you are better and go back home that you may consider coming back for a short respite stay with us at some time.

The Westbury Care Home continues to make great progress. With the addition of new management, my mothers care is excellent with nothing being too much trouble. The food choices are excellent with a great variety of meals on offer every day, so good relatives love to stay for lunch too!

The activities have had a revamp providing entertainment every day keeping both relatives and residents occupied with fun, laughter, cheer and singing. All in all, mum is having a great experience and I can leave her knowing she is being well looked after and all her needs are catered for.

Mum has been in this care home since September 2016. We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and always there to help with anything.

Staff always come to talk to mum and the activity lady always tries to include her in things.

Mum seems to enjoy being here.

My mother went into Westbury home in September 2014. She passed away June 5, 2017. Through initial residential then full nursing, my mother always received the highest quality of care. All staff. Nurses, carers, cleaners, admin, management, volunteers. Everyone involved at Westbury looked after my mother with the highest standards of care, compassion, patience and not a little love. I cannot speak too highly of the standard of care received. I shall certainly recommend with confidence to anyone BUPA Westbury Care Home.

Cannot speak too highly of care, service and treatment. My 13 week stay, preparing for returning home, were sympathetically filled with physio help, exercises and advice, from very patient care staff and excellent meals. I am very grateful and would recommend this home to anyone.

At all times the home was clean, fresh and welcoming. The staff were very kind, patient and thoughtful. The maintenance man was extremely prompt and helpful. Entertainment was provided. Christmas was a delight. The level of care and support to ensure enough progress to enable my mother in law to go home was outstanding. An enormous thank you to everyone.

Our Aunty stayed in The Westbury after being discharged from Bath hospital. We found it to be a very nice home with caring and relaxed staff. Her room was comfortable and airy with everything she needed . The atmosphere was friendly and homely. We were always offered drinks whenever we visited. Our Aunty was an amazing and dignified lady and was treated this way at all times. Her wishes along with ours were always considered by the staff. From all we saw I would recommend this home.
