Neville Williams House provides nursing care and is located on a quiet road in Selly Park, very near the park itself and a short walk from the Pershore Road. It has its own 12-bed specialist dementia unit, Bluebell Walk.

The team strive to enrich the lives of residents with personalised care, ensuring that every need is met with warmth and dedication. As a charity, every penny of its profits is reinvested into BCOP's nursing homes, enabling them to continually improve, innovate, and provide exceptional care.

The home has three communal lounges, the on-site Forget-Me-Not pub, which can also be reserved for family celebrations, a pet farm, a replica train carriage used for reminiscence therapy, a hairdressing salon and laundry. All rooms are en-suite and several have been refurbished in 2020 to make them more accessible for residents using wheelchairs, creating en-suite wet rooms and repositioning electricity points to be within easy reach.

Activities are designed around the interests of individual residents. Staff ensure residents’ privacy and dignity are respected at all times and support residents to make their own decisions about their care where possible.

Dad has only been in Neville Williams for three weeks (previously in another care home for over 2 years where we never felt dad was really safe and cared for)
Since dads arrival at NW we can finally see the level of care we had always hoped he would receive. The difference is like night and day. We
finally feel he is in safe hands.
The home is spotless, feels really homely, and every single member of staff we have met is resident focussed. Residents aren't just left in their rooms or beds, they are up, clean, shaved etc and involved in what's going on, whether it's tea out in the garden or in the lounge with other residents with staff to hand. Staff are positively interacting with the residents, and it's so lovely to see. As a family we visit approx 3 times a week, and we've never found dad just left to his own devices, he's always involved somewhere.
Dad was discharged from hospital on end of life care, but the team have helped him improve massively. We are so happy to have found NW.

Our mom was a unique character who cared for all more than herself. Neville Williams House returned this favour to my mom. They gave a special sould a special space to take her last breath. What they have done with their garden is so lovely and was the perfect space for my mom to be connected to nature
which made her so happy. I couldn't of wished for a space and a caring community which is at Neville Williams House. From cleaners, health care assitants to nurses they are so incredible.

My 94 year old mother, who suffered from dementia, moved from a local Care Home to Neville Williams House in November 2024 as she needed more specialised care.Mum's lovely light room was always clean and tidy and overlooked the garden.She spent the last few months of her life supported by a wonderful
team of Carers and Nurses who coped heroically with her challenging behavior, always staying patient, kind and respectful to her.All the Staff and Managers there were so friendly and gave us lots of support and good advice.My family and I would highly recommend Neville Williams House to anyone looking for an excellent Nursing Home.

My sister has been a resident in Neville Williams House for 19 months. Her comments on the carers who look after her are, "Nothing is too much trouble for them.", " They are always polite and say please and thank you", "They want to do all they can to help me".
I, too, have always found the carers
cheerful, polite and helpful. I think they do a difficult job, and yet they have a caring and supportive attitude. They should be commended.

My mother has been in Neville Williams House for 3 weeks now, she is very poorly and was transferred from hospital to this home.
I cannot praise them enough, as a nurse myself, I can be over-critical of healthcare, but the care they have provided is exceptional, they manage every aspect of care with
great care, respect and to a very high standard. The management of the home is excellent and the staff delivering the care are second to none.
As soon as she arrived she was allocated a named nurse, who has been really supportive to my brother and I and is really skilled at managing patients with end-stage dementia.
Both of my parents have been in a number of homes over the last few years, and my only regret is that we didn't find this home sooner.

My dad is a resident at Neville Williams, Birmingham. The carers seem to truly like him and know him (as he is now.) They treat him with respect and love. The lounges and corridors are very nicely done out with a lot of care. I'd like more activities, crafts, and singing to happen.

The care that my mom receives at Neville Williams House is excellent, the staff are kind and caring and go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable, all the staff hold different qualities and together they make a great team that puts the wellbeing of the residents first. As a family member whose

All the staff gave a warm friendly welcome, so polite and really caring and really took good care of my mother. Respect, cleanliness, comfort and support were just fantastic. The bedroom was so cosy, with plenty of room and felt like home from home. Couldn't have wished for a better place for my poorly

I could not fault the care my brother had during the 15 months he was in the home. All the staff were considerate and understood my brother's personality. Since my brother's passing both my sister and I have been treated with kindness and consideration.

My husband has been a resident at Neville Williams House for over 15 months, where he continues to get excellent care. He has been very settled during this time which is due to the patient, friendly care given by those who look after him and in particular those who work closely with him throughout the
day and night. Our whole family appreciate the welcoming, friendly warmth shown by all staff members.
We feel a part of the home too and are very happy in the knowledge that when we walk away we are leaving my husband in safe hands.

My husband has been at Neville Williams House for three and a half months. He has been treated with great kindness by the staff, as have I. They are always willing to communicate about him. I particularly appreciate the 'Portal' I can use this on my phone or iPad to see his routines, how well he is
eating and drinking and even his mood - all in real-time. This is particularly reassuring on the days that I am unable to visit him.

Neville Williams House is a wonderful care home. My Father has been there for two and a half years. During that time my Father and our family have formed a lovely relationship with all the staff within the home, from the entertainment team, maintenance team, support staff, nursing staff, management,
housekeeping and kitchen staff. Nothing is too much trouble and support is available for all of us especially when we have tough days.

My lady partner has only been in the home for two weeks. I used to own a care home, so I know what I am looking for. I found the home very clean and thoughtfully furnished. The staff are exceptionally good with visitors and residents.

My Mother has been at Neville Williams House for almost a year and during that time I have always been delighted with the care that she has received. The staff all know Mum and always address her by name. She is always treated with kindness, dignity and understanding.
I particularly like the open door
policy where I can visit at any time. The garden is gorgeous and we are particularly fond of the animals - going into the garden feels like a trip out.
I would like to thank all the staff and management for everything that they do to make Neville Williams House such a welcoming place with such a warm feel.
I was absolutely dreading my dear Mum going into care but I can see that she is in a fabulous place where she is very happy. Thank you, everyone.

My wife has now been a resident of Neville Williams House for 5-years, and I can honestly say that in all of that time (even during the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns) that I have never once had a moment of concern for the care and treatment that my wife was receiving. It is never easy moving a loved
one into a nursing home, but the family atmosphere which has been created in Neville Williams House makes the whole experience so much easier and less stressful. It is very easy to say that all of the managers, nurses, carers and all of the staff do a wonderful and caring job, but in this case, I think it would be fairer to say that they all go the extra mile that makes this nursing home special. The in-house facilities available to the residents are very good, and the staff are very clever at making lots of activities to entertain the residents, and the food provided in the dining room is excellent.
