The John Sperry Memorial Unit embraces John Sperry’s belief in the importance of allowing residents to be themselves and to express their personalities, free of sedation.

Compassionate care is delivered 24 hours per day by a team of dedicated and specialised staff. This exceptional care, complemented by the purpose-built facilities, means that every resident can achieve their potential and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle, regardless of the type and stage of dementia they have.

Lynhales Hall is set within 7 acres of beautiful, peaceful woodland, conveniently close to the charming market town of Kington. This offers a real choice for residents who are able to relax in the luxurious surroundings of the home or explore the local amenities, accompanied by a member of the care team.

The outdoor space at Lynhales Hall is beautiful and is often the location of local fayres and garden parties, but the home interior is equally inviting. The homely decorated rooms and communal social spaces give a real home-from-home feeling – and this is enhanced through personalisation with the inclusion of residents’ furniture and treasured possessions.

There are a huge range of activities organised by the in-house team to stimulate, spark enthusiasm and capture the imagination. I have been at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home for fourteen weeks and I am very happy and settled. It is a lovely comfortable home and the staff have all been kind and cooperative. The food is excellent and a very good selection.

As soon as I arrived at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home, I felt at ease due to the welcoming and very caring staff. During my visits, there always seemed to be staff around to help and assist with any enquiries I may have. The home was always clean and tidy and Mum seemed to have everything she needed to
hand. The staff looked in on Mum at regular intervals. All of the staff were marvellous, being kind, caring and accommodating and are a credit to the home. I would not hesitate to recommend Lynhales Hall Nursing Home to anyone who asked me.

I know I made the right choice for my dearest dad. I am able to visit anytime, especially before COVID restrictions and have spent a lot of time with him and other residents.
Staff are always on hand to answer any queries etc. I know Dad has people around him who like and care deeply for him.

My father has been a resident at Lynhales for 3 years now. The care has been excellent. The staff are amazing and are always treat all residents with respect. My father has been very settled in the home and we really could not ask for a better environment for him to be in. Although difficult through
covid restrictions we have been informed of his progress throughout. The John Sperry unit is perfectly designed to allow residents to wander around and have some quiet space along with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The most amazing staff. Kind and caring not only to the residents but with the family. I have felt totally supported on each visit I make to see my mum. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lynhales to anyone who was looking for the best care for their loved one. The home manager and her team
are kind and never make you feel like you're a nuisance. They spend the time with you which is paramount. Head and shoulders above every other care home we visited before setting on the wonderful Lynhales.

I am very happy and grateful for the excellent care that my husband receives at Lynhales. The staff are so caring and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are excellent and are well cared for and clean. Even during these difficult times of Covid, I am able to do an outside visit
at my request which they are happy to facilitate. I feel reassured that he is in good hands and is being well cared for.

I have bever been treated to anything but the utmost respect from all here. The staff are so caring to my wife who can be very difficult at times. Each time I visits, I am careful to see and asses how she looks before she notices. I want to know how she is when I am not there. She always seems happy
