Brookdale Nursing Home is situated in the Blakebrook area of Kidderminster, in close proximity to Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre. It is situated within walking distance of Brinton Park, close to local amenities and on good public transport routes.

The home is a listed Georgian residence over two floors, converted, with communal areas on both floors and extended for nursing care. It provides a safe, comfortable and homely environment for all residents.

The highly trained nursing staff are committed to providing excellent Palliative and Nursing care.

The home has a Dementia friendly, South facing garden which is easily accessible on foot, or in a wheelchair. It has a varied activities programme with external entertainers regularly visiting the home which enables the team to provide the best personalised activities for each, individual resident.

I cannot praise Brookdale Nursing Home highly enough. The care of all the staff, the home was always clean, food good. I would recommend to anybody.

Nan arrived at Brookdale on the 13th of April 2022, from Oxford for end-of-life care and to be closer to family that live in Kidderminster. The care Nan received from all staff has been brilliant and a support to the family. Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff to cater for Nan's needs. Sadly,
we lost Nan on the 17th of May 2022, but so pleased we were able to be with her for her final days. I would recommend Brookdale to friends and family.

Sadly Dad was only at Brookdale for two months before he passed away. From the moment he arrived, to the morning he passed, he was treated with dignity and respect. All the staff were wonderful and Dad quickly settled in. He took part in the activities and made new friends. Nothing was too much trouble
and he often told me how much he liked living at Brookdale. Dad went from someone who lived alone, struggled to manage his diabetes and was lonely, to someone who flourished for the last two months of his life. Thank you, Brookdale, for your care.

My mother was a resident at Brookdale for a few years until just short of her 102nd birthday. She was given excellent care throughout. The staff was both friendly and attentive to her needs. Any concerns were quickly reported to me and I always felt I was being kept in the loop. Meals were of a high
standard and she always seemed to enjoy them. Mom was very reluctant to go into care initially, but I always felt once settled, she was happy and comfortable. I will always be grateful for the standard of care she was given and will happily recommend Brookdale to anyone seeking the best care for their loved one.

My mother was admitted on a 4-6 weeks assessment back in November last year, and I'm happy to say is still there. During her assessment, I had the opportunity to look at other care providers within the area, but it soon became obvious how Brookdale's staff/management and the homely atmosphere within
the building was so so different from others we viewed. In my opinion, kitchen staff excellent/domestic staff excellent /care staff excellent /nursing professionals excellent /manager excellent. Communication from the staff to myself is also excellent.
As an ex-nurse myself one of the most important parts of any care home is the quality of the food at Brookdale, the food provided is probably the best I have seen in my time as a nurse.
Well done everyone and thanks for taking care of my mother.

The management and staff are very thorough in caring and looking after the patients in the nursing home. The meals are well prepared and edible. The accommodation is well administered and cared for by the domestic staff. There is a slight problem with the wheelchairs. There could be better cleanliness
on some of the chairs and closer inspection to the working parts. There also seems to be a shortage of cushions for seating on the chairs, possibly each chair should have their own cushion.

I have been visiting a service user since he started living with you, and I must say I did have reservations, BUT since May/June the transformation has been unbelievable. The house seems to have come alive! Residents and staff alike are so much more content and happy! The house is inviting and clean
It's a pleasure to visit, and if I can't, I phone and I'm reassured. I am happy to visit, I come away and know he's safe and looked after - a marvellous transformation! Well done!
