The staff at Myford Nursing Home provided outstanding end of life care to our mum. Whilst the stay was short, members of staff were incredibly kind, compassionate and attentive. It felt like a home rather than a care facility. Because we were there for the majority of the time, the team made sure we
were looked after as well as our mum with regular check ins and offers of support. We would highly recommend Myford House to anyone who is seeking high quality support for their loved one.

My aunt has resided at Elmbank now for over a year. She has settled well and established a good routine with family, staff and other residents. The staff are always friendly, understanding, and supportive. There is always something going on, such as a singer etc., as well as many escorted trips out.
I am very happy with the quality of care my aunt is receiving.
Reply from Susan Erwin, Home Manager at Elmbank Nursing HomeThank You Julie for taking the time to express your satisfaction We do pride ourselves on family, friendship and aim to provide plenty of Entertainment

Living overseas it was not always possible to visit my elderly father who was resident at Willow Tree from Nov 24 to Jan 26. During this time Debbie the manager, her deputy Laura and the team maintained outstanding care. The staff cared for my dad. I can't thank them enough. Dad passd away recently,
the care and communication and support for me was outstanding.
Reply from Debbie Hambridge, Home Manager at Willow Tree Nursing HomeThank you for your very kind words Stephen. Your dad was a lovely gentleman and a pleasure to care for. Your comments are very much appreciated and I will share them with the team

I have found the service good/satisfactory. One point is the regularity with which the manager changes. I am not happy with the fact that my mother has been kept in her room for several years now. I know that she is no longer able to socialise but I feel she has been bed bound longer than necessary.
Reply from Reece Welsted, Home Manager at The Knoll Care HomeHi, Thank you for your review it was out of the homes control for a previous manager leaving, prior to myself joining as Home Manager, I am here for the foreseeable future. In respect of your mum's care this is due to medical needs and we are more than happy for you to meet with the medical support to discuss this further

My lovely mum-in-law reached the point where she needed 24-hour care, which isn't an easy thing for any family. However, my wife had been given a good report about The Knoll and luckily, there was a room available, so Mum moved there in September and settled in pretty quickly. We have been impressed
with the level of care provided and the kindness and patience of the staff and management, always ensuring that any health issues that arise are dealt with promptly. Mum has been much better in herself since moving to The Knoll - she is eating better and is happier having more company than she did living on her own. She was offered the opportunity to move into a bigger room recently, which has a wonderful view over the lovely gardens at the rear, where mum loves to watch the wildlife, including deer, hares and rabbits. I am so pleased that, due to the confidence my wife has in the staff at The Knoll, the stress she was under is no longer an issue, thanks to Reece and his brilliant staff.
Reply from Reece Welsted, Home Manager at The Knoll Care HomeThank you very much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that your mum-in-law has settled in so well and is happier, eating better, and enjoying the company and surroundings at The Knoll. Your appreciation of our staff and management means a great deal to us, and we're especially pleased to know that your wife now feels reassured and supported. Thank you for trusting us with your mum-in-law's care.

The quality of care continues, and as a family, we are more than happy with the care and kindness that our aunt receives Elmbank. December was again celebrating Christmas with excellent festive entertainment, especially the annual Christmas party and Santa making an appearance.
The management and
staff all do a fantastic job. We have complete confidence in Elmbank.

My mother-in-law has been here for over 3 years since Sept 2022. The care here is outstanding. The team are so attentive and kind and professional, even when her dementia makes her angry and abusive. We are truly grateful for everything - the care, medical attention, cleanliness and the well-prepared
food.

My husband was admitted to Brookdale at the beginning of December after spending 3 months in hospital where they didn't bother to get him out of bed, consequently he can no longer stand. What a difference. It's like the difference between black & white. The staff are all lovely and get him up using
a hoist, he joins in some of the daily activities which are on offer and I can't thank the staff too much for their care and patience with him. They make us both feel so welcome.

Earlier this year we got to the stage where mom couldn't manage at home any more with her dementia. High Lodge have been fantastic in helping mom settle in taking a huge weight of our shoulders. The food is tasty and home cooked and mom has even put some weight back on. We are always made very welcome
when we visit and always feel we can approach the staff about any concerns we may have. Having a parent with dementia is a very hard situation but we believe she is in totally the right place at High Lodge.
Reply from Patricia Stevenson, Home Manager at High Lodge Care HomeMany Thanks for taking the time to give High Lodge such a lovely review. It means so much to the team to know that you and your mom are happy with the service we provide. Once again, Thank you from the whole team.
