My precious wee mum was nurtured at Norton Hall Nursing Home for the last 6 months of her life. From being alone in her flat in Worcester, mum's quality of life was enhanced when she moved to Norton Hall and for that, I am so grateful. I live overseas so the constant, caring communication was greatly

We are very pleased with the care that our mother receives at Norton Hall Nursing Home. Staff are always attentive, friendly and professional. The home is clean and well maintained. Also seems the home works well with the NHS and has a very good GP practice working with the home.

Norton Hall Nursing Home was an ideal care home for my father to spend the last months of his life. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and compassionate. Although the staff were always extremely busy, I never felt that they conveyed any stress to the residents; indeed the place had a good, cheerful
atmosphere. I enjoyed visiting the home as it is a lovely old house surrounded by trees and gardens. I just wish my father had been well enough to appreciate it more. The house was well-kept with regards to tidiness and cleanliness and had a warm homely feeling about it. My father was Polish and it was lovely that there were a few carers and nurses from other countries as well as England. I have no criticism of any of them - they do a wonderful job, all of them. I wish the home all good wishes for the future. Keep up the good work and I hope better covid free times are ahead.

After looking at several care homes in the area which catered for palliative care we chose this one as the best. My mother was given six weeks to live and twelve months later is still there and she is as well as can be expected at the age of ninety-five. While we could not monitor her closely due to
covid, we were able to visit in a 'safe' room and we believe they have done their best for my mother during this difficult situation and have no reason to change our mind.
We would like this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the staff at Norton Hall.

My father became part of the family at Norton Hall in the summer of 2019.
Since being a resident he has extended his family he is happy and well looked after.
The staff go out of their way to interact with family and residents, the atmosphere is happy in the trying times of 2020 even then busy staff
are happy to discuss his care.
I am happy that I made the right choice for my father and know that he is happy too.

From the initial meeting with the manager in June 2019, my sister and I felt that Norton Hall could provide mum with the personalised care that she needed, initially this was for respite care but is now long term care.
At Norton Hall, we always have a friendly welcome and even with their busy schedules,
the staff make time to personally get to know you which we find lovely.
The care, dignity and respect that mum receives from staff at Norton Hall is first class. Any requests we make on mums behalf are always responded to in a timely manner which again is down to a great staff team.
Through Covid19, we have been kept informed by telephone of mums health and well being and more recently video calls and a couple of pre-organised garden visits which has been great to see mum again.
Thank you to all the staff for your continued support and care that you give to all your residents.

Mum joined Norton Hall in March 2019. She was warmly greeted by the Manager and team and I was really impressed how quickly and efficiently he put Mum's pictures on the walls which soon made it feel like 'home'.
Mum is extremely happy at Norton Hall. The staff are very dedicated, friendly and professional.
They are very kind to Mum and cater to her individual needs.
Mum used to bake lots at home and so she is very keen on the delicious home-cooked food that is prepared to a very high standard. Her favourite is tiramisu.
I can't thank you enough for all the kindness and care you have all shown to my Mum and continue to do so. Thank you.

My mum still resides at Norton Hall and has been a resident for nearly nine years. She is happy and content and loves to chat with the staff and other residents.
The staff are friendly and the care she is given is excellent, we have seen residents come and go and they are all treated with great respect.
I would recommend this home to anyone it’s a lovely friendly home. Thank you for caring for my mum.

My stepmother was previously in a Nursing Home in Cheltenham and the family agreed to her being moved to Worcester in order to be closer to me. She has now been in Norton Hall for 15 months and I can honestly say I am so glad we made the decision to transfer her. She has her own room which looks out
onto a lovely area of the garden. The staff are amazing, so genuinely kind and very thoughtful. Without exception, they all work really hard and go out of their way to meet Mum's needs which at times prove to be demanding. Prior to the COVID restrictions, Mum particularly enjoyed the activities in the lounge, the visits from the local schoolchildren and the musical entertainment. Last summer she spent many an afternoon outside in the pretty gardens chatting to other residents whilst enjoying the scenery.
I am so grateful to all the staff at Norton Hall and I have no hesitation in recommending this Nursing Home to other people.

My Mother who is in her 90’s and who has Alzheimer's has been attending Norton Hall Nursing Home in Worcester for some years on a daycare basis. From her first visit both Mum and we, her Family, have been very happy with her care there. It is run like a big family home and although the skilled Nursing
is present it is integrated into a lovely day of happiness and fun and also relaxation. Mum is always happy when she is there and is given a big welcome when she arrives and the Staff make sure she has everything she needs and wants. The Chef knows her preference for lemon cake and indulges her with this favourite and tempting nutritious meals and snacks. The Hall follows the years calendar of events and marks special occasions both local and nationwide eg Football Finals, Wimbledon, Royal Weddings etc etc. When Mum is there we can relax in the knowledge she is receiving exceptional care while being happy. I would heartily recommend Norton Hall Nursing Home for your loved one.

From the beginning, it was very easy to communicate with Norton Hall and to arrange an appraisal of my mother's condition prior to her being accepted into the care home. After they had evaluated her mental state (severe dementia) they took care of everything regarding her transportation and entry into
the home. The staff are kind and very caring, even going to the extent of recognising and making her birthday a special event. The nursing home always seems clean and tidy and the staff appear very attentive to her needs and trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. Clearly they are all very dedicated to be doing a magnificent job under difficult circumstances. I have no hesitation in saying Norton Hall is one of the best nursing homes available.

My mother, I feel is looked after well, despite her condition which is at times not easy to deal with. She is always clean and dressed well, and over time has got very fond of certain members of staff. During the Covid19 outbreak, I have been very grateful for the facetime sessions and being able to

From initial contact, the staff were open and honest, friendly and helpful. Before offering a place, they wanted to know all about my mother's health and mental welfare, not just from hospital, GP, etc. but from family and by meeting her in person. She was their focus, not the money. I was welcomed
at short notice to view the room available and shown all of the home, nowhere was off-limits except other residents rooms and it felt like dropping in on a big family.
Her arrival was handled with the utmost consideration, the staff understanding of how bewildering the move was. She has since gone from socially withdrawn to voluntarily joining in with daily activities which are tailored to the abilities of the residents.
As dementia has worsened the carers have remained just as supportive - patiently dealing with the good and the bad days.
During Covid-19 the residents have been protected and reassured, families kept updated and I cannot speak highly enough of Norton Hall.

Mum received end of life care at Norton Hall from August 2019 until she passed away on 3tf December 2019. We were stunned immediately by the beautiful grounds and surroundings, and the warmth and comfort of the home. Staff were kind and friendly and warm in their dealings with Mum, who had Alzheimer's
and various physical problems. That warmth was visible even on Mum's final day, and staff were genuinely sorry at her passing. I am sure that the good food and drink, with meals often personalised for Mum's appetite and taste, contributed positively to her end of life months, as did the friendship and kindness of the staff. Mum was discharged to Norton Hall from hospital for end of life care. She was given ‘weeks’ but with the excellent care Norton gave her, survived from July 10 till Dec 3rd.
I cannot speak highly enough of the level of care, quality of food and cleanliness of this facility.
They gave Mum dignity and
comfort in her final months.

The carers at Norton Hall could not have been kinder and more caring. They looked after dad for nearly a year and responded with consideration and understanding to his increasing needs. We the family were always made so welcome and we were supported with empathy and honesty during dads last few weeks.
Dad was peaceful and calm and very well cared for as he faded away. We cannot recommend Norton Hall Nursing Home and its staff more highly. Thank you to everyone there. The manager needs a medal for her devotion to the residents.

I was very worried at the thought of my mother having to go into a care home, as she had a spell of being poorly after losing her husband. Norton Hall has not only nursed my mother back to the best health she can have in her situation but I'm sure and lengthened the time that we all have together.
She
is happy and comfortable and laughs like she used to on a regular basis. It feels like a small family when I visit mom and as a visitor, I am well looked after too!
To see the love and care that my mum receives gives me peace of mind when I am keeping my own life going away from mom. I feel very lucky to have my mother placed at this residence.

I could not have asked for a better home the care form all the staff is excellent, nothing is too much trouble.

My father was treated with the best of care at Norton Hall Nursing Home. The staff were caring not only for my father but to all his family too. They treated him with respect and dignity right up until his end of life. The nursing staff were excellent and we practically visited dad every day but on
such days that we couldn't, we had no worries that he was being well looked after.


The staff are a credit to Norton Hall Nursing Home.
