Mum was admitted to the Old Vicarage in the last weeks of her long life and was given care and attention when she needed it. She was very weak on arrival and sadly passed away within a week or so. Nonetheless, I felt the staff we always lovely. They were welcoming and it was always easy find someone who knew mum's condition and what was going on with her. My interaction with the home was quite short but I feel the people that work there do genuinely care and do their best to keep the residents happy and well.

Any concerns have been raised with me as soon as possible and measures are put in place to ensure that everything is done to resolve any issues. I am greeted by name and treated as a respected visitor to the home.
The care and facilities have reduced recently, the residents have to wait when requiring help. The home does provide entertainment on a regular basis.

I was my mum's sole carer for a long time, so handing over her care to a full-time service was absolutely heartbreaking. However, the team have made this transition so much easier than I ever thought possible. They have taken away so much stress and worry, and I have complete confidence that my mum is safe, supported, and truly cared for.

Food always smells good when walking passed the kitchen & on the whole the food looks good.
Most times when visiting there appears to be singers and some form of entertainment to keep the residents occupied.

She does 'talk' a lot but it is not possible to understand what she is trying to say - but she does react very well to all the staff. I cannot praise them enough for all the care they show her. She has always been interested in singing and joined choirs wherever we have lived. She really enjoys the many singing activities which the home provides.

My elderly mother in law is treated with respect and care. The staff are really good with her and give her agency to make decisions. She is comfortable and generally contented. The support we have as relatives from medical staff, particularly nursing staff is excellent. The carers are lovely.
