  • Care Homes Owned by Surecare Group
Sure Care's home aims to provide its residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance.

Carers will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a warm and caring atmosphere and in so doing will be sensitive to the resident’s ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

This will be achieved through programmes of activities designed to encourage mental alertness, self esteem and social interaction with other residents and with recognition of Sure Care's values.

All Care Staff within the Home will be appropriately qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. A continuous staff-training programme is implemented to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest developments in care practices as may be laid down in appropriate Legislation.

An excellent care home. Kind, caring, friendly, helpful staff caring for my dad in his last few weeks. It was a really difficult decision sending dad away from home, but he needed professional care, and that is what he got. Special efforts were made to make his room as homely as possible, and nothing
was too much trouble.

The staff are very caring and my mother appears to be happy with her carers, who are working to meet all of her needs. The cook is very friendly and came to apologise to my mother when the food that she'd requested was unavailable. The medical staff have been very good at keeping us informed and along
with the other staff caring for us as well.
The building is old and repairs are being carried out on it. The lift is old and not always working.

I have been to visit Dad at Hafod House on many different times of the day. The staff have all always been so lovely, cheerful and in my opinion do not get enough credit & praise for the phenomenal service, care and respect that they show to my dad & other residents.

My wife has been a resident at The Old Vicarage for almost twelve months. She suffers with Alzheimer's and has settled well. I am extremely grateful to all the staff for the care she receives. One staff member in particular is an absolute asset to Brocklehurst Nursing Home. I have never seen him sit for a second and is always running around ensuring the residents' needs are met/cared for. This staff member takes pride in his job and does a great job. He truly is a carer from the heart and
I feel he should be rewarded for all his efforts (employee of the month/year). When this staff member is in it is noticed straight away, one example is how he brings Mum's food on a tray not missing a thing. It may seem like a small thing but I never have to look for him and ask where the dessert is etc. When we ask him for something nothing is too much for him.
