Meadowfields Care Home is a lovely, welcoming home, literally a home from home. The staff are very professional and extremely caring of all family members.
It was a tough decision to move mum in to a home and broke our hearts, but it was the best decision we have made . Mum calls Meadowfields her home. She is safe, well looked after.
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt review. We are delighted to hear that your mum has settled so well at Meadowfields and that she feels truly at home with us. It means a great deal to know that our team has taken the time to understand her personality, preferences and individual needs,...
My father was resident from August 2023 until his passing in October 2025. At first it wasn't easy for him having led an indipendant life. The care/support he received was second to none. It was comforting/reassuring to know that he was in good hands and being well looked after I have no hesitation in recomending Meadowfields to look after, in a good/proper way, a family's elderly/dependant loved one.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review. We understand how difficult the transition into care can be for someone who has lived such an independent life, and we are pleased that our team was able to provide the care, support and reassurance he needed. It means a great deal to know...

It's wonderful to know you've noticed the clean, welcoming environment, the variety of activities, and that your mum enjoys the meals and her room. Your kind words and recommendation mean a great deal to our whole team.
Stress free time putting your mum in a home, full reassurance was given. Staff at all levels very approachable and caring. The home always looks very well presented with a happy vibe.

An excellent service. By all who takes care of me.
My mother has been with Meadowfields Care Home now for about 4 months. During this time we feel she has improved drastically and is now living a much more fulfilled life and enjoys everyday with her new friends.

Knowing that she is enjoying each day, building friendships, and living a more fulfilled life means a great deal to our whole team. Thank you for trusting us with her care.
It's refreshing that any problems experienced by my mum are bought to my attention by the staff who have already taken appropriate action instead of me having to inform them.

We cannot fault the care that mum has received at Meadowfields. Mum came in for emergency respite care, so the whole situation was new to us and very distressing. From start to finish the staff have been wonderful, mum has settled so well and has made new friends and involved herself fully in all the activities on offer. The home is spotlessly clean and more like a hotel than a care home. Thank you to everyone involved in mums care, for looking after her so well, and for the great kindness you have shown to her.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We're so pleased to hear that your mum has settled in well, especially during what must have been a challenging time. It's wonderful to know she's made new friends, is enjoying the activities, and feels at home. We're also glad that our team's care and kindness have made a positive difference. Your words mean a great deal to us all.
my father has dementia and has no immediate memory. The support he gets from all the staff is outstanding. The staff are all very approachable and have been there for both my Dad and myself as we have all adapted to Dad being in a care home. my Dad has settled extremely well thanks to the constant emotional support he gets. This is a lovely care home, so clean and modern. lovely food, lovely people and the activities they do are amazing. we always feel at home when we visit. A lovely place

A well run care home, working under difficult services (especially after the effects of Covid). A few more trips out would be appreciated. It seems that fruit is only served downstairs. Would it be possible to serve some upstairs? Activities have improved with the employment of a new member of staff.
Bathroom - poor for people like me with mobility and balance problems.
Very nice.
Service user and family would not hesitate to recommend this care home.
Care and attention to detail are at the forefront of the care provided by all staff members from management to carers.
Words cannot express how pleased the family is for the constant care and attention afforded to Mum. The staff are extremely polite and caring. Mum is so well looked after at this difficult times, Mum is aged 1020 years and receiving end-of-life care. We feel she is loved and well cared for.
Access, movement and egress from the dining room can be awkward due to too many parked walking frames and wheelchairs.
Some residents meander aimlessly around including into other resident's rooms. Less than fully compos mentus residents talking loudly to God during mealtimes.
My mother has settled well into Meadowfields Care Home after a lengthy stay in hospital. She is well cared for and generally happy in her new environment. The staff are skilled and very kind and my mother's needs are assessed and met. She enjoys mixing with other residents and joining him with activities.
