Aston Court offers long-term residential, nursing, convalescence, palliative and respite care.

Aston Court takes pride in ensuring that its often frail residents can enjoy a safe and comfortable setting and the purpose-built home is surrounded by landscaped grounds. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities as well as TV points and a 24-hour call system. Four rooms with patio access have been recently refurbished.

A wide range of nutritious meals are prepared by an experienced chef, tailored to residents’ dietary requirements and their personal preferences, while lighter snacks and alternatives are always available.

A varied programme of daily activities and outings, include arts and crafts, movies, and gardening as well as visits to local villages and pub lunches. Aston Court also cater for parties and special occasions.

The staff are very approachable and friendly. They care about my granddad. He is encouraged to participate in all parts of the care home life. Granddad enjoyed pompom making but loved the gardening. The staff supported him in planting plants into pots. They talked to him. Granddad loved this, and this
helped his communication as he told us lots of details about the activity. Thank you.

My mother has been in Aston Court Care Home since December 2024. Her care in this period has been very good. The carers and nurses are all very helpful and obliging. My mother has settled in well.

I am here at Aston Court nursing home for residential recuperation after a heart valve procedure. It is very pleasant, comfortable, clean, bright, quiet, peaceful and in lovely grounds. Staff are wonderful, kind, caring, respectful, cheerful, helpful, patient, efficient and hard-working. Residents are
provided with singalongs & activities they clearly enjoy. I have around 12/13 allergies to foods, some severe causing anaphylactic reactions but the kitchen staff are very careful and have protected me. I am well looked after here. Decent variety of meals or one can ask for something different. Size of meals is good, even for me. I recommend Aston Court and would come again if needed.

I arrived for two weeks of respite care but stayed for six due to unforeseen circumstances. I was warmly welcomed, escorted to my room and helped to unpack. My room was adequate, neat and tidy and the bed comfortable. At mealtimes, I was called for and directed where to sit. I found the menu to be very
good and varied and tasted very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Aston Court Care Home.

I can't thank the manager and her team at Aston Court Care Home enough. The care our mom received was the best we could ever wish for. Respect and compassion were shown to Mom throughout by all staff not only for Mom but also to us all. We really appreciated what you did for us between the tears and

We cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care they gave my aunt for the four years she was at Aston Court. The standard of care was excellent and the homely feel of the place made it easy to visit and talk to staff. We were kept informed and always contacted for the slightest concern.
My
aunt's final days at the home saw compassion, care and respect for her. Sadly she passed away but the carers were with her to the end.

My whole experience at Aston Court has been excellent. Right from when I first arrived to the final week.
I resided for respite after major hip surgery and have found the care excellent.
The carers and management have been very supportive and encouraging and made my stay very pleasant.

My mum was admitted into Aston Court in October 2022. This was such a hard decision for myself, my son and my daughter. We had looked after Mum at home for almost six years as she had developed Alzheimer's and we could no longer cope. The care and kindness that all staff have shown to my mum is outstanding.
She is 95 years old, and still fighting, and I cannot praise the staff enough. We walk away happy when we visit Mum, knowing she is happy and cared for.

On arrival to the care home my mum's overall health was very poor. Her health and well-being have improved greatly since arrival. My mum has made friends and now spends her days in the communal area and engages with the many activities. She enjoys the food and all the cups of tea. My mum is very happy
at Aston Court and considers the care home to be her new home. She enjoys talking with the staff and as a family we could not be happier. Thank you.

Always friendly staff who integrate with residents in a caring manner. Residents are treated with respect and cared for very well. When I visited, you can see the interaction between staff members and residents is very good, 'natural'! The home is always very clean and well cared for.

Honestly, words cannot express enough just how incredible this care home is! Having moved my nan from another nursing home where she was left in bed and rapidly went downhill - we moved her to Aston Court in October and since then she has become a different person! She is happy, smiley and has 'come
back to life'. The attention to detail that the staff provide here is outstanding. They really do care, even when they have so much to deal with they have time for you as relatives and keep you informed about everything. The activities are exceptional and the activities coordinators go above and beyond for the residents. Thank you to everyone at Aston Court. It really is a special place!

Communication has definitely improved since covid restrictions lifted. I receive newsletters and phone calls which keep me updated. Overall I think the faculty is good. I do think that my relative would benefit from more activities that take him out. I do of course appreciate the costs and the effect
on resources but would be good if possible to consider.

The carers at Aston Court care home are always polite friendly and helpful, a very professional team making you feel welcome with every visit. As you would expect sanitation hygienic checks are conducted quickly in reception on arrival, for the safety of residents, visitors and staff. Regular activities
are available to residents, and the home is spacious, clean and tidy.
