My mother says that she couldn't wish for a better place to be and she is happy I found it for her. The staff are kind and give her hugs. She enjoys the activities, like the exercise, gardening and music, even if she has to be persuaded sometimes. I am happy that she is safe and cared for. It means we can sit and have a laugh, and her friends can visit or take her for coffee.

What a fantastic continuing care facility for my Mum!
As with some years ago, the care taken by the staff for my Mum and the other residents is second to none and nothing is too much trouble.
I also wish to thank you for the weekly face to face video calls you arrange with myself and Mom and long may they continue!

We will try to visit again at some point when we can, but in the meantime many thanks!

The staff are very approachable and friendly. They care about my granddad. He is encouraged to participate in all parts of the care home life. Granddad enjoyed pompom making but loved the gardening. The staff supported him in planting plants into pots. They talked to him. Granddad loved this, and this helped his communication as he told us lots of details about the activity. Thank you.

I am here at Aston Court nursing home for residential recuperation after a heart valve procedure. It is very pleasant, comfortable, clean, bright, quiet, peaceful and in lovely grounds. Staff are wonderful, kind, caring, respectful, cheerful, helpful, patient, efficient and hard-working. Residents are provided with singalongs & activities they clearly enjoy. I have around 12/13 allergies to foods, some severe causing anaphylactic reactions but the kitchen staff are very careful and have protected me. I am well looked after here. Decent variety of meals or one can ask for something different. Size of meals is good, even for me. I recommend Aston Court and would come again if needed.

I arrived for two weeks of respite care but stayed for six due to unforeseen circumstances. I was warmly welcomed, escorted to my room and helped to unpack. My room was adequate, neat and tidy and the bed comfortable. At mealtimes, I was called for and directed where to sit. I found the menu to be very good and varied and tasted very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Aston Court Care Home.

We cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care they gave my aunt for the four years she was at Aston Court. The standard of care was excellent and the homely feel of the place made it easy to visit and talk to staff. We were kept informed and always contacted for the slightest concern.

My aunt's final days at the home saw compassion, care and respect for her. Sadly she passed away but the carers were with her to the end.

My mum was admitted into Aston Court in October 2022. This was such a hard decision for myself, my son and my daughter. We had looked after Mum at home for almost six years as she had developed Alzheimer's and we could no longer cope. The care and kindness that all staff have shown to my mum is outstanding. She is 95 years old, and still fighting, and I cannot praise the staff enough. We walk away happy when we visit Mum, knowing she is happy and cared for.

On arrival to the care home my mum's overall health was very poor. Her health and well-being have improved greatly since arrival. My mum has made friends and now spends her days in the communal area and engages with the many activities. She enjoys the food and all the cups of tea. My mum is very happy at Aston Court and considers the care home to be her new home. She enjoys talking with the staff and as a family we could not be happier. Thank you.

Honestly, words cannot express enough just how incredible this care home is! Having moved my nan from another nursing home where she was left in bed and rapidly went downhill - we moved her to Aston Court in October and since then she has become a different person! She is happy, smiley and has 'come back to life'. The attention to detail that the staff provide here is outstanding. They really do care, even when they have so much to deal with they have time for you as relatives and keep you informed about everything. The activities are exceptional and the activities coordinators go above and beyond for the residents. Thank you to everyone at Aston Court. It really is a special place!
