Clifton Court is an established residential and nursing care home, providing full residential and nursing accommodation with 24-hour personal care. The home has a loving, family-like environment and is located in a woodland setting with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The building was originally a private mansion and still retains many of the beautiful features after being modernised to offer a high standard of living for all residents.

Dad was admitted following a stroke. He did not want to go into a nursing home and unfortunately he did not engage with any of the activities - despite lots of gentle encouragement from staff. As a family we were very happy with the care provided - the carers were friendly, the food was good, although
the portions were too big when served in his room. My only criticism would be about facilities (which the home can do nothing about sadly!) such as the shower was upstairs and the room was quite small. Would recommend.

Dad came here as a fast track from hospital. It was the last thing we expected or where he thought he would end up. The staff in the care home have been fantastic with him and he has settled in straight away.

Sadly, having experienced or been involved with more than one care and or nursing home recently, I have seen the good, the okay and the bad. Clifton Court is certainly one of the best ones I have experienced. It's clean, it's warm, it's in good condition and the food is proper, freshly prepared and
a good quality. Looking after people like my mother who needed 24-hour full nursing care is challenging for anyone and I can honestly say that every single person here did their best to accommodate her needs. Always friendly, always warm and caring. There were challenging times, but I can honestly say that the quality of care, the nursing and the management, was from the heart.

The nursing care is second to none. Our relative was so frail after hospitalisation that she was given only days to live. In 2 months, she has a stronger and healthier body thanks to a patient, pertinent feeding and care regime.
Her care is personalised daily according to her needs, whether she stays
in bed for the day, or joins in mealtimes and activities for a few hours. She describes every member of staff as kind and helpful.
Whilst the facilities and decor could be updated, the staff make us, as a family, feel that our relative is safe and in the best place for her needs.

Mum has been at Clifton Court now since May, she has now become very settled there despite a few issues.
The staff are fantastic and really care and I always feel happy that mum is being well looked after when I leave.
The nursing home is always clean and tidy and that goes for the residents too,
with clean clothes on everyday (I visit mum most days).
We have had few meetings with the manager and find her very approachable and very helpful.
I'm incredibly grateful to the home and the carers for what can be challenging work but it is always done with a smile on their faces.

Mum has been at Clifton Court for several weeks now. She has settled well and finds the staff to be helpful and pleasant. We have had a little issue but it was quickly resolved. The staff are approachable and proactive in supporting any requests we have made. We visit our mum quite frequently but go
away knowing the care is there when we are not. The staff are genuine and polite despite what challenges they deal with. We as a family are grateful for all the care and support she has received so far.

I am very grateful to all the staff and carers who compassionately meet my mother's needs. Whenever I visit, my mother is neatly dressed and smiling. I approached the manager at Clifton Court after a distressing period when mum's mental health and memory had deteriorated rapidly. My mother was warmly
welcomed and she seems much calmer and settled. Thank you to everyone at Clifton Court for everything they do.

Clifton Court is an excellent care home. My father is a difficult resident at the best of times. They deal with his issues very well. Food is always good and the staff are caring.

We are so happy with the care that my mum has received since she moved to Clifton Court. Initially she was there for respite care for a couple of weeks, but following a deterioration in her health, she now is a permanent resident. The food is top quality and the staff always look after my dad when

Thank you so much to the manager and her team for the kindness and care given to my Mum during her 11-month stay. She was treated compassionately at all times. Significant injuries caused initially by falling at her previous home, and immobility through bed sores during protracted hospital stays meant
Mum was immobile and in constant pain but the Clifton Court team took great care of her until the day she passed away.

Found the care home very good and accommodating too. The care that was given to our father was excellent, especially in his final days. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Where the home is located in a lovely setting. They have a lovely garden.

I highly recommend Clifton Court Care Home to any family seeking care and support at this residential home. The whole of the team are always friendly, courteous and helpful. I appreciate that I am constantly kept in touch with all things concerning my father, such as appointments and updates. I can
see on my regular visits that the home is constantly being cleaned, residents are well cared for, hydrated and appropriate foods are provided for their needs. Well done and thank you.

Our late mother required end-of-life care after her time in the hospital, the family decided that Clifton Court nursing home was to be our choice.
Our experiences with the home have not been wholly positive, we do praise individual staff members and appreciate that new management has been introduced,
but we do feel that communication and nursing care requires periodic review to better encapsulate the aims of the home and expectations of relatives.
In considering your loved one for Clifton Court, do not be shy in asking questions, when will the care plan be created, when do you review the resident's needs, how often does the GP visit the patient's bedside, you are your loved one's voice!
To ensure continuity of care and compassion is at the forefront of everyone's mind, it's important that relatives engage with staff via feedback and observations, we did experience a lack of face-to-face feedback from the GP and at times access to the care home patient notes.

My wife, an ex-chartered physiotherapist, became a resident of Clifton Court Nursing Home after a series of accidents, originally a fall on the premises of the hospital. After a series of negative experiences, she was transferred to Clifton Court in a very poor mental state. Initially, for the first
month, her condition was problematic for the nursing home: possible transfer to a dementia specialist home. Fortunately, her state improved from a condition of being visually bedbound and difficult to control to becoming a popular resident of the home, steadily building up good relationships with the caring staff for which her family are very grateful. I ambitiously began to plan for the possible transfer of my wife to leave the nursing home and return to her home in Rugby. With goodwill from the caring staff and the care home manager, my wife is now slowly adjusting to a normal life - sometimes challenging but making progress.

My mum has been a resident at Clifton Court Nursing Home since being transferred from hospital in June 2022. The care and compassion shown by all staff has been truly remarkable. I have witnessed first-hand my mum being treated with dignity and respect despite some very difficult and challenging issues
related to my mum's dementia and her behaviours. As a family, we have been welcomed and involved/included in her care planning.
I never thought I would see my mum be able to sit at a table in the lounge and become more independent with eating and drinking as during her time in hospital she had lost all of her independence and was very poorly. As a family, we will be forever thankful to the manager and all staff at Clifton Court.

The Clifton Court Nursing Home has taken such care since the day my mum was admitted from hospital. She was very poorly when she first arrived and has made leaps and bounds over the ten months she has been a resident. The nursing staff and carers have devoted themselves to my mum and their relationship

My mum has not been at Clifton Court, Rugby for very long, 3 months. When she arrived her behaviour was very challenging but the staff there were excellent in the way they looked after my mum. They were very kind and things went at my mum's pace. She has settled a bit now but some days are still difficult
and I have to say from what I have seen the staff have been great. It is early days but so far I am pleased with the care my mum is receiving.
